wow, i love how many new words I learn from posters on Regretsy. Love that word, poinient, though I am a bit confused about connection between a french maid’s uniform and discriminating and April… but I’m new to Regretsy.
Urban dictionary explains poinient as a word that describes the stature of a person, normaly female and dressed in a french maids uniform
The differnece between Funny and Humiliating is POV. Still puzzling over poinient. I don’t buy that French maid explanation. I think she means either “poignant”, as in “bittersweet, piquant” OR “pungent”, as in “strong-smelling”. Either way, I don’t get the comparison. And by “discriminating” are we talking “taste”,or “harmful bias”? Or did she mean “pointing out” vs: “discriminating”. ~Sigh~ Love the flouncy kissoff at the end!
This is like some SAT of the damned, isn’t it? Everything is gibberish and my pencil is broken and there are no right answers. “Poignant” (or “pungent”) is to “Discrimination” as…as…sorry, I got nothing.
Please someone do a decent flounce. I’m not expecting Mark Twain or Oscar Wilde level but we should be able to come up to a George Carlin once in a while. Can’t someone write something that stings? You’d think with this mob of cynics we would get a beauty of a Flounce(tm) once in a while.

The difference between poinient and discriminating is that discriminating is a word.
