I’m trying to figure out what reading the newspaper or watching the news has to do with anything. Are there frequent news stories telling people not to make fun of art because the creator is a real human being with feelings?

I guess we’ll never know because we don’t read it. Maybe it would be worth picking up one of those things, you know, just for shits and giggles

Don’t put yourself “out there” if you don’t want to be judged by complete strangers. Strangers who laugh at the idea of paying $10,000 for a painting of a married couple nobody has heard of, painted by a guy nobody has heard of.

My mind just wandered back to the days when I lived alone in my one bedroom apartment…lying on the sofa with a big-assed gin & tonic, watching the Red Green show on my 13 inch cable-less tv. I love my family, but damn, those were some good times…

Quick question: if we spend all our time chatting with other people, are we really antisocial?

Also, when I insult someone’s art? I am very much aware that it’s a real person’s art. If it was made by a robot, it would be a whole hell of a lot less bizarre.

Damn…this goes up there with the hobo wedding post in the, “You are clearly inferior because I assume you are of a lower class than myself,” as though the size of my tax return dictates whether or not I have any taste.
