The best part is where we were part of “the experiment”.
“Oh wait I wasn’t serious it was a masterful social trolling experiment,” is never a particularly convincing gambit. Kramer tried that after using the N-word on stage, and Sinbad was cringing backstage thinking, nope sorry man, it’s way too late to sell us on that one…
It’s a quick, desperate back-pedal that never works in practice.
