Hate Mail

If you were at the Regretsy book signing in Seattle, you heard me read some of my favorite hate mail. Ever since then, I’ve had this secret desire to do it again in a theatre setting, like a twisted version of Love Letters.
Well, Rob Paulsen and I decided to give it a try. We’ll be doing this live on January 25th, reading hate mail and flounces and angry Tweets and bad book reviews in a variety of cartoon voices. If you live in Los Angeles and want to come see whatever the hell this is, click here for tickets and show information:
Jon Lovitz Comedy Club and Podcast Theater
BUT HOLD ON
Our friends at UStream are going to broadcast this LIVE, so you can see it wherever you are. You can chat, you can complain, you can heckle us, and you can submit questions for the Q & A part of the show. And if you can’t watch it live, you can download the event from Ustream later, when you’ve sobered up.
Because we’ll have to pay for this ourselves, we’re going to do it as a Pay-per-View. But it’s only going to be $5, and a portion of that will go to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Hope you can make it!

This is awesome! What time will it be broadcasting?

6:00 pm HAST, which my Google-fu suggests is Hawaii time. Those IP-reading scamps.

This is going to be awesome!

Haters always sound better with cartoon voices. This is fact.

I was at the Seattle reading and enjoyed it very much!
Looking forward to hearing more…

You were in Seattle and I missed it? I hate you.

I thought this was the whole point!
January 17, 2013 at 5:47 pm
Well that’s $5 well spent!
I was saving up for a bubble necklace but these is a better chance I won’t get lead poisoning from the broadcast.

If we buy it, can we download it later? Or do we have to choose one or the other? Can’t wait to see it!
PS- I went to Disney World and saw the Christmas parade. When Clarabelle the Cow rolled past baking cookies on her float, I was so tickled! I was like, “THAT’S APRIL!” I only thought it, of course- I left the name screaming to the toddlers.

I will see you in person! Universal Citiwalk is just one subway stop away. And yes people Los Angeles has a subway.

That’s not a ceiling, it’s a dense layer of smog.

YEAH, BABY!!! Please do one in your snooty, stick-up-her-ass, opera-loving whore/shakespearean theatre voice!

This may be worth the drive to LA… hmm.

I wish I was on the west coast for this! I’m tossing in my $5 and preparing for the butthurt.

I AM COMPLETELY CAPSLOCK OVER THIS
January 18, 2013 at 12:43 pm
Holy shit. I am going to be down and out due to some knee surgery when this comes on; it’s going to make me feel so much better AND probably heal faster. It’s gonna be a goddamn miracle.

Drat, as my life would have it, I’ll actually be in Seattle while you are performing in my backyard. *pout*

Thank you.

Forgot to buy access and now I can’t anymore. Just FYI
Hopefully that will change when the PPV is available
