Marilyn was first intended to star in the first Hellraiser movie. Until she died 25 years before the making of the film.

Pardon my uncontrollable nitpicking, but maybe “harkens back”?

I’m not certain which is right…? Hearken means “listen”. Herald means “predict” or “bring news of”. Herald seems more correct to me, but that may not be the idiom.
I suppose I shouldn’t use idioms with which I am unfamiliar.
