the whole PP kerfuffle made its way to online version of Polish biggest daily; which is so nice, seeing as they struggle in Poland, online bank transfers being free of charge mostly and eBay being far, far behind local competitor – allegro
the headline says: ‘a tale about how PP was taking away from the poor’ http://www.alert24.pl/alert24/1,84880,10770778,O_tym__jak_PayPal_biednym_odbieral.html
and – if it’s of any consolation for US, eBay and PP have their asses kicked over here; local competitors effectively blocked their launch with simple ol’fashioned trick of maintaining good product and customer service quality
eBay was so massively arrogant entering this large (for Europe at least) and already developed online-shopping market, that they flopped spectacularly and had to relaunch
was cute to watch…
Awesome! It’s definitely made headlines here – TWO local news stations are interviewing me about my donation and why I think PayPal should change/clear up it’s policies regarding donations. I’d hate to think what would happen if thousands of us hadn’t protested.
Who decided the theme for the holiday season this year is “Raping Your Dreams”? The creepy Santas on the calendar this year are only the icing on the cake made up of Paypal, bank bail-outs, Newt back in politics, Billy Crystal hosting the Oscars… the list goes on and on!
Icing is the most delicious part, though.
Granted, a post with only 11 fucking comments? Yeah, I know I haven’t been quite on the ball myself, but it’s kind cozy in here with just the few of you…no cupcakes, no haters…very nice indeed.
