I was going to go with a meaning like “If you have a well trained horse that you love, you can teach it to stop on command, but you can’t stop love like a well trained horse.”
I just assumed the seller didn’t speak a lick of English, and cobbled the sentence together with a dictionary.
Knowing that the seller just failed on two languages altogether doesn’t really restore my faith in human kind.
