My Little Pony
I have to admit, I’ve never been a My Little Pony person.
Well, I was once.
The point is, I never really thought of them as canvases. I had no idea that this was the medium of choice for so many artists, and that people were making sophisticated, witty and generally amazing variations every day.
Consider me educated.

October 20, 2011 at 3:42 pm
I’m completely unashamed to say that I want several of them. Quite badly, actually.
October 20, 2011 at 3:48 pm
And I am very ashamed to say that I. Want. Every. Single. One.
October 20, 2011 at 4:39 pm
Gotta get ‘em all!!
MLPMods, the new Pokemon?
October 20, 2011 at 3:50 pm
I’m with ya there! ALL of them are fantastically clever!
October 20, 2011 at 4:10 pm
You and me both.
I’d so get the Jack Skellington one if I had the cash.
October 20, 2011 at 4:22 pm
My husband is going to piss himself when he sees the HeMan ones. I have a feeling I will be the owner of one soon.
October 20, 2011 at 8:05 pm
I made the one on top! I could make some for you

Aw! I love the Stephen Colbert one and especially the one splattered with paint. So cute!
October 21, 2011 at 7:17 am
The Stormtrooper, THE STORMTROOPER!!!!
October 21, 2011 at 7:34 am
No shame in that at all. You’ll make some customizers very happy;)
October 21, 2011 at 7:41 am
I am completely unashamed to say I want to BE her. Quite badly, actually
October 20, 2011 at 3:43 pm
The MLP fans will soon be upon us.
However, those are pretty awesome.
October 20, 2011 at 3:47 pm
Some of us have been here the whole time
October 20, 2011 at 3:53 pm
I was going to say that!
Regretsy just got 20% cooler.
October 21, 2011 at 1:06 am
Friendship is magic!
Vicodin is even more magic.
October 20, 2011 at 3:58 pm
Yay.
October 20, 2011 at 4:49 pm
Actually I like the MLP that they’re playing on Cartoon Network or whichever channel it is
October 20, 2011 at 5:36 pm
That one is My Little Pony:Friendship is Magic. It is the best animated “kids” show on TV these days.
October 20, 2011 at 7:00 pm
THE HUB!
October 21, 2011 at 3:23 am
Hi. MrsEmbers, long time lurker, longer time MLP customizer. Pleased to meet you.
I’m sorry someone beat me to doing a regretsy pony, but I’m glad the one that did involved goatse. The pony, not the artist… presumably.
October 21, 2011 at 4:17 pm
I haven’t been a member here long (a few months), but I have been reading Regretsy for quite some time. I found this site through the pony community.
October 21, 2011 at 7:47 am
I can’t watch the cartoon, but I did play with the very old school ones-I couldn’t watch the cartoon back then either.
October 21, 2011 at 12:35 pm
Giggle at the goatse! (I have now ruined the song for you. You’re welcome)
October 21, 2011 at 2:18 pm

Can’t unhear… can’t unhear.
October 20, 2011 at 3:43 pm
Don’t let my son see this. He is such a Brony.
October 20, 2011 at 7:01 pm
mine too
October 21, 2011 at 1:08 am
As long as he’s not subscribed to /r/clopclop, I think the only thing you’ve got to worry about is occasional Rainbow Dash references.
October 21, 2011 at 1:08 am
On second thought, NEVER GOOGLE CLOPCLOP.
October 21, 2011 at 12:47 pm
October 20, 2011 at 3:43 pm
I was wondering when these would show up here.
October 20, 2011 at 3:44 pm
I can see a market for the Stormtrooper Pony.
October 20, 2011 at 4:10 pm
I love the Vader!
October 20, 2011 at 4:30 pm
Man, how did I miss that? That is awesome.
October 20, 2011 at 3:45 pm
MY KINGDOM FOR A SPOCK!!
This is such a hot mess. I want. WAAAAANT.
October 20, 2011 at 5:27 pm
LOVE the eyebrows and the boots. Perfect Spockiness!
October 20, 2011 at 3:46 pm
Ursula Vernon made one called My Little Leper Pony… I now must find it an learn how to embed and image…
October 20, 2011 at 4:05 pm
October 20, 2011 at 4:30 pm
Ursula is the bomb diggity. I want to be her when I grow up.
October 20, 2011 at 5:12 pm
WANT
October 20, 2011 at 6:44 pm
OMG Her Cutie Mark is all eaten away by disease! Where’s the My Little Jesus Pony when you need him!?
October 20, 2011 at 8:39 pm
ALL BETTER
October 20, 2011 at 3:47 pm
The artists need to approach Tokidoki for a deal. Or StrangeCo. These are totally commercial and amazingly awesome.
October 20, 2011 at 3:48 pm
May I say that your avatar pic is both 500 kinds of awesome, and simultaneously about 600 kinds of disturbing. Kudos! = )
October 20, 2011 at 3:48 pm
When did My Little Ponies get so sexy?
October 20, 2011 at 3:51 pm
About the same time Bratz started making tiny hooker babies.
October 20, 2011 at 4:33 pm
They always were, weren’t they? Remember the first episode of the original MLP cartoon, where the bad guy was a servant of Satan and the kidnapped pony was struggling oh-so-sexily in chains?
October 20, 2011 at 5:30 pm
Hmmm…sounds like MLP takes pony play to a whole new level. I was too old for MLP when it first came out, but I see I’m going to have to do me some DVD renting.
October 20, 2011 at 5:47 pm
OH GOD THE INNUENDO
October 20, 2011 at 3:49 pm
The Thing and the Star Wars storm trooper completely cracked me up!!
I love that they do this!
October 20, 2011 at 3:51 pm
Also, Elvis as a unicorn?
That shit works!
October 20, 2011 at 3:51 pm
Ever since I saw one of these for the first time a few years ago, I’ve been wanting to make one.
One day I’ll get off my fat jealous loser ass and do it.
For now I’ll just be content to watch the new MLP and color in my 2 MLP coloring books.
I know, you’re all super jealous.
October 20, 2011 at 3:52 pm
Friendship is Magic, guise.
October 20, 2011 at 4:16 pm
No, friendship is convenient. Vicodin is magic.
October 20, 2011 at 4:32 pm
Friends with Vicodin are magic.
October 20, 2011 at 4:58 pm
“Friendship is convenient. Vicodin is magic.” I’d buy that on a sampler.
October 20, 2011 at 3:54 pm
I need Pony Scissorhands in my life. These are amazing.
October 20, 2011 at 3:55 pm
Wouldn’t that be Pony ScissorHOVES?
October 20, 2011 at 4:05 pm
Or hooves, even!!!
October 20, 2011 at 4:21 pm
“HOVES” is just

October 20, 2011 at 6:46 pm
I LOVE DERPY! I’m so geeking out right now!
October 20, 2011 at 3:55 pm
My boyfriend just showed me one of these yesterday. I wanted it then and I want them all now!
October 20, 2011 at 3:56 pm
Pony Scissorhands! That’s genius!
October 20, 2011 at 3:56 pm
I want all of those. I agree – TOTALLY marketable! I’d for sure buy all the Marvel ones for the office I share with my Marvel-loving husband!!! Super Hero Squad side by side with ponies….awww!
October 20, 2011 at 4:04 pm
Sweet, you take the Marvel, I’ll take the DC!!! I ♥ Batman.

Troll Alert! Repeat: TROLL ALERT. This is not a drill, people! Stay away from the troll. Ignore the troll. Trolls thrive on attention. DO NOT FEED THE TROLL. This is the end of the troll alert.
October 20, 2011 at 7:45 pm
GRAWR! Darn! You’ve blown my cover. Perhaps you would like me better if I told you I am actually a troll little pony…
upload psd
October 21, 2011 at 9:33 am
I bow to your comeback and freakish-but-adorable little troll ponies. Bravo!!
Do you have a little self-admitted troll Jon Cryer to ride one of your ponies?
October 21, 2011 at 9:36 pm
Those things are CREEPY-looking!
October 20, 2011 at 9:03 pm
Can I eat what you were going to feed the troll? I’m hungry.
October 21, 2011 at 2:23 am
From all the Bronys and Pegasis here, I just wanted to tell this Troll:

October 20, 2011 at 4:00 pm
I’m glad My Little Andy Rooney Pony hasn’t taken off.
October 20, 2011 at 5:39 pm
No, but he was taken off and if you happen to see him at the trough having his dinner, please don’t say hello.
October 21, 2011 at 11:32 am
Or the My Little Mickey Rooney Pony.
October 21, 2011 at 1:50 pm
They tried to, but the prototype was stolen by a mouse as a toy for its baby.
October 20, 2011 at 4:01 pm
I still prefer the mermen.
October 20, 2011 at 4:09 pm
Me too. But I suspect I’m a little over the target age for this, since I first remember MLP’s when I was babysitting.
October 20, 2011 at 4:28 pm
The new MLP on the Hub seemed to have accidentally happened upon a demo of teen boys and older who call themselves Bronies. Probably because the producer of the show also did Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends and Powerpuff Girls. It’s not as sappy sweet as those earlier ones were.
October 21, 2011 at 10:10 am
Okay, I guess I’m finally going to have to check this show out… And maybe get my son hooked too.
I loved MLP as a kid. From the time I was 4 to about 10 I think the only Christmas presents I got were MLPs (MLPies?). And in college (and beyond) I adored Fosters Home. I actually teared up when I heard that it was cancelled.
October 20, 2011 at 8:25 pm
I’m a 19-year-old college student and I faithfully watch every single episode of the new show. Trust me, there’s no such thing as “too old”. Especially because the current show is absolutely made of win.
October 20, 2011 at 8:48 pm
I’m 30 (and female)and spent a day watching the first season of Friendship is Magic. I’ll admit to feeling only a little ashamed at the time. I also LOVED Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends.
I’ve wandered away from whatever point was being made here, I just got excited by being able to admit to my cartoon watching without getting strange looks. You might be making them, but I can’t see them.
October 20, 2011 at 10:30 pm
The good thing about being an older female fan and watching MLP is that you can shop for ponies in the toy aisles at Target and no one thinks you are out of place. Put a 34 year old guy in the same aisle and… yeah.
October 21, 2011 at 2:25 am
Same demo and story here Erk. You are not alone. Welcome to the Herd!
October 21, 2011 at 1:52 pm
@Erk, that’s the right attitude to have: People out here might be making “those” faces at you, but you can’t see them, so it doesn’t matter!
October 20, 2011 at 4:02 pm
Brings new meaning to Pony Play.
October 20, 2011 at 5:41 pm
Sorry—I didn’t read all the posts before I said something similar above. I read @Butterwort’s description of a pony struggling in chains and I just lost it.
October 20, 2011 at 4:02 pm
I made a “Punk Pony” in high school and kept it in my locker. It had a multi-coloured mohawk and I put a little safety pin in it’s ear.
These put it to shame. TO SHAME.
October 20, 2011 at 4:58 pm
You have now put the image of a set of Ramones MLP’s in my head. Thank you for that. Gonna smoke some more weed now and listen to “Road to Ruin”.
October 20, 2011 at 4:02 pm
I have a handful of vintage & new MLPs that would be good for a makeover if anyone here is interested. My mother sent them to me thinking the nieces would want them, but most of them were mine when I was a kid and they’re pretty well-played-with (the newer ones she’d had in her classroom; they’re much the same). Make art with my childhood toys, people!
October 20, 2011 at 4:09 pm
I will take you up on that offer. No joke.
October 21, 2011 at 8:40 am
Excellent! Would you like a picture of the offerings?
October 20, 2011 at 4:38 pm
So. Tempting.
October 20, 2011 at 4:43 pm
Just make sure they’re not rare ones in decent condition. I have a friend who has done custom ponies for years and froths when people customize fairly valuable ones without looking into value.
October 21, 2011 at 8:39 am
I would categorize the condition as ‘crap’, honestly. Missing tails and whatnot.
October 21, 2011 at 1:25 pm
People making valuable stuff into relatively cheap/crappy stuff/stuff you could do in three seconds at home with a glue gun/stuff you could buy in china?
Nnnope, doesn’t sound like Etsy at all…
October 20, 2011 at 4:02 pm
Ahhhh that Rorschach (sp?) one is AWESOME!!!
Oh, and in my facebook feed, just before this post was one from Tosh.O that I think you’ll all love. (APRIL check this out!!!)
http://tosh.comedycentral.com/blog/2011/10/20/the-human-centipede-o-lantern/?xrs=synd_facebook
On second thought, I should have not posted it and submitted it as my entry to the jack o lantern contest. DAMN MY HONESTY
October 20, 2011 at 4:03 pm
I am shocked that I knew about these years before Our Lady of Fuckery, Whimsicle. Then again, she is only one woman, not yet ascended to the level of a deity (my altar to HK notwithstanding).
October 20, 2011 at 5:30 pm
I did too (that chick is on my list on deviantart), but I didn’t want to be the first one to say so. I’m a fucking coward like that. thank you for taking the plunge.
(Plus, I hate that guy who always posts on my links saying ‘yeah, I posted that like 3 months ago before it was a thing blah blah hipster-mustache meh’.)
That having been said, I will totally Thunderdome someone for Spock.
October 20, 2011 at 5:59 pm
You. Are. On.
October 20, 2011 at 7:15 pm
The hipster “I knew them when” game is eerily similar to the “back in my day” game.
Grandpa: “Back in my day, we had to pump our own water from the well.”
Hipster: “Water, huh? I knew them back when they were just hydrogen and oxygen.”
October 20, 2011 at 4:04 pm
I got over the My Little Pony thing after about two months when I was eight, but OMG, I would mow somebody down for a Tenth Doctor pony now.
October 20, 2011 at 4:22 pm
Doctor Whooves. He shows up on the new MLP in the background often.
http://mlp.wikia.com/wiki/Doctor_Whooves
October 20, 2011 at 4:36 pm
Funny you should mention him…
http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/6373/dscf2169g.jpg
He’s not quite finished-I still need to get some faux fur or his mane and tail, as the painted hair really isn’t working. (I should probably add that he’s my first attempt at pony customising, so he’s really not the best work ever.)
October 20, 2011 at 4:47 pm
Nice job for just starting. After I used to make Barbie dolls to look like various TV characters (after they came out with the X-Files and Star Trek collector ones) I do think my son is a bit worried I’ll be customizing ponies next. I just really don’t have that much ambition at the moment.
October 20, 2011 at 8:10 pm
Thanks! I don’t have an airbrush, so getting him an even colour was a pain in the ass. I tend to have random bouts of creative nerdy urges, and things like that are the result.
I don’t think I could do Barbie customising-the idea of making clothing that small or painting faces that size is a little intimidating. (I have painted and made clothing for larger dolls, but I’m fairly sure that working on that scale would be disastrous. I seriously admire anyone who can do it.)
October 20, 2011 at 6:38 pm
I can’t remember who did this but I love it.
October 20, 2011 at 6:46 pm
one of my faves
October 20, 2011 at 9:06 pm
LUFF <3 SO MUCH
Can we get some Farscape MLPs? I'd love to see a Chiana or a Scorpius (although the Catwoman MLP just needs a glowstick on the head, and there ya go!)
October 21, 2011 at 8:41 am
Okay. . .I hate the new pony design a whole lot, but this? This gets a pass.
October 20, 2011 at 5:54 pm
I read that as “I got over the MLP thing two months ago when I was eight” and then I thought that “mow somebody down for a Tenth Doctor pony” was rather witty for an 8-year-old!
October 20, 2011 at 4:04 pm
My Little Tinman is making me cry glitter tears of joy that it exists.
October 20, 2011 at 4:06 pm
I wanted to make that very same pony (I’m unoriginal). I have been studying for the G.R.E and all my projects have been paused until I take it. I guess I’ll have to make a different regretsy pony now.
October 20, 2011 at 4:08 pm
And there are, of course, zombie ponies!
October 20, 2011 at 4:08 pm
My Little Thestral?
October 20, 2011 at 4:11 pm
October 20, 2011 at 4:13 pm
I can think of so many of these I’d want:
Dr. McCoy
Joel from MST3K
The entire cast of LEXX
Steve Jobs
Lewis Black
Elizabeth Berkeley
Gina Gershon
… etc etc etc!
October 20, 2011 at 9:15 pm
I like these! Especially the cast of Lexx!
How about:
Abby from NCIS
Daniel Jackson from SG1 (Archeologist mode)
Amanda Fucking Palmer
U2
The entire cast of Futurama
The entire cast of Venture Bros.
October 20, 2011 at 11:13 pm
For some reason when I read that I thought LAURA Palmer!
I would actually totally dig that…beautiful dead pony wrapped in plastic.
October 21, 2011 at 8:42 am
A Laura Palmer pony would be much cooler than the original suggestion.
October 21, 2011 at 7:42 am
http://mlparena.com/ <—Go here, find good artist and request them. I can suggest a lot of good artiststhere. I'd promote myself, but I have such a small portfolio and I have too many credits this semester to really be useful. Seriously, there are folks who would love to do this for you.
October 21, 2011 at 12:23 pm
I *so* want a Nibbler Pony now.
October 20, 2011 at 4:18 pm
I used to frequent the horse equivalent of Regretsy on another message board. The thread is entitled “*SNORT* how to get kicked off a My Little Pony forum” and involves Hilter and My Little Pony in the first two posts..enjoy.
http://themanurepile39728.yuku.com/topic/4455
PS There is MLP Slash fanfic involving some hot pony sex.
October 20, 2011 at 8:27 pm
Have you ever heard of… Cupcakes? I think you’d find it very enjoyable and wholesome and all those other lovely words.
October 20, 2011 at 9:20 pm
That is possibly the funniest thing I have read in the last decade.
October 20, 2011 at 4:19 pm
I’ve always been ambivalent about My Little Ponies, til now. These are very cool!
October 20, 2011 at 4:21 pm
….and why the hell is there not a pony with a flipflop fascinator?
October 20, 2011 at 4:21 pm
goddamn migraine.
October 20, 2011 at 4:23 pm
That Hellen Killer Pony is fucking fantastic. I squealed. And I am not a squealer.
October 20, 2011 at 4:27 pm
Want Hellboy pony so, so much. Then I can recursively make my Hellboy figure ride him.
October 20, 2011 at 4:28 pm
Needs a Club Fuckery Pony. With glitter. Lots of glitter.
October 20, 2011 at 5:52 pm
Kind of?
October 20, 2011 at 9:19 pm
Nay, (<- get it? get it?) it shall have a human hair butt plug for a tail, like the first one you see modeled after April. That one's tail obviously starts a lot lower.
October 21, 2011 at 10:40 am
Woah! The eyes on that are incredible!
October 20, 2011 at 4:32 pm
I just glanced at first (distracted by the Solo Pony) but I thought the predator was Boba Fett
October 20, 2011 at 6:11 pm
I would love to be able to commission the whole Star Wars line. I wanna see her do a Pony the Hut to go with it too…
October 20, 2011 at 4:35 pm
I really, really want Rorschach and the Alien.
October 20, 2011 at 4:44 pm
I’ve never been a My Little Pony fan either but these are just awesome! Well done:-D
October 20, 2011 at 4:44 pm
Hahahaha! I found this! Woohoo!!!!
October 20, 2011 at 5:06 pm
April should become a Brony!
October 21, 2011 at 12:41 pm
And voice something on the show!
October 20, 2011 at 5:07 pm
I, ah, actually sorta might possibly have leftover from my naïve youth a modest (nearly all) collection of the MLP unicorns (I collected unicorns, ok!? I got over it!) — and have been thinking about trying to do some mods like those. I know they’d never look that awesome.
But, hey, I have tons of the damned things in my folks’ attic, might as well do SOMEthing with them…
October 20, 2011 at 5:11 pm
My husband is a Brony and turned me to the dark side. Friendship is Magic is pretty funny.
October 20, 2011 at 5:42 pm
My boyfriend and I are both Bronies!
October 20, 2011 at 5:32 pm
I have a whole gallery of favorites in my devart account dedicated to custom MLPs that I covet. <3
October 20, 2011 at 5:36 pm
You can buy completely unpainted, blank ponies here http://www.amazon.com/My-Little-Pony-Decorate-Figure/dp/B001E3P5F2
October 21, 2011 at 6:58 am
Don’t do it!
That seller is charging 3X more than they should be ($15.99).
Hasbro has them on their site here for $4.99 MSRP (though you need to search for an authorized seller, but still…)
October 21, 2011 at 7:46 am
Hit the thrift shop or a yard sale and pick up ponies in fun colors that can be wiped “blank” with acetone for $0.50. Those blanks are in a boring pose and unless you know how to dye hair, you’re going to wish for more color.
October 20, 2011 at 5:51 pm
I don’t know if anyone else out there is into Pullips but requiemart.com’s site owner has some really beautiful customized Pullip dolls also, like a Wicked Witch of the West and a couple of geishas.
October 20, 2011 at 6:11 pm
customizers to drool over: lovelauraland, darkhorse, poniesyeah, PrincessofDarkness, pop-girl, jupiternwndrlnd, creampuf
so any others…. Mine are.. middle of the pack.

Working on an Ozzy Osbourne pony for someone right now, though.
October 20, 2011 at 10:47 pm
Wrennie, that right there is NOT a middle of the pack custom. That TLU custom beautiful!
October 21, 2011 at 6:29 am
Arena Okie? *hugs* I never stop by even to lurk hardly anymore.
October 26, 2011 at 9:21 pm
The one and the same! ^^
October 21, 2011 at 7:47 am
That horn is epic Wrenie. Don’t be hating on yourself.
October 20, 2011 at 6:14 pm
How could anyone not like this shit.
October 20, 2011 at 6:20 pm
I want that My Little Xenomorph.
October 20, 2011 at 6:20 pm
I just geeked and nerded all over the place.
October 21, 2011 at 6:59 am
*CLEAN-UP ON ISLE 3!*
October 20, 2011 at 6:24 pm
Hasbro actually makes a blank customizable pony!

Also, holy shit. I watched the entire first season of Friendship is magic in one glorious fucking day. I am now 20% cooler than I previously was (MLP:FiM inside joke motherfuckers).
October 20, 2011 at 6:41 pm
I love how it says approx retail value $4.99 but the cheapest I can find it is $15.99 on amazon.
(Seriously it made me giggle.)
October 20, 2011 at 6:46 pm
I was touched by the Michael Jackson Pony.
October 20, 2011 at 9:27 pm
Are you getting counseling?

I’m the proud owner of this beauty!
October 20, 2011 at 7:32 pm
What part of your pony must you wax to be a Brazilianaire?
October 20, 2011 at 7:46 pm
Shh. It’s a secret. A secret brazilianaire.

I thought we had already discussed the custom MLPs here, but I guess I was wrong. Nothing suprises me after seeing people remove all the hair from an old Barbie to reroot her to a bright orange ponytail or something similar. That whole thing has been going on for quite awhile. I even worked through my grief after my sister died by rerooting about a dozen Cher dolls with various things like yarn and strings of beads. You need to go searching for rerooted cabbage patch kids-talk about crazy!

Woosie on deviantart does some lovely costume ponies. http://woosie.deviantart.com/

I’m so excited that this ended up here!

You and your fellow Pony Artists rock the house.
October 20, 2011 at 9:34 pm
I also made a Stephen Colbert one

You did a great job on him! Have you considered sending one to him? If nothing else, he does have kids. They could get a kick out their dad being made into a MLP. OK, so their dad is Stephen Colbert who happens to play a character on TV named Stephen Colbert and they’re not the same people, but his kids just think he’s silly at home (I read an unauthorized biography that was, essentially, a love letter to him—no dirt revealed).
Who knows, maybe it could end up on his set!
October 22, 2011 at 5:48 am
maybe I will. That’s a good idea.
October 20, 2011 at 8:40 pm
These made my jaw drop – in a good way.
Wow. I’m truly impressed, and I want most of these.
October 20, 2011 at 9:02 pm
Freshman year of college I was doing an art project with my childhood toys, including my two MLPs. When my friend saw them in my dorm she made me watch the old MLP cartoon, which is horrifying. So when I walked her back upstairs to her dorm room I slipped one of the ponies under her pillow.
After that we would try to hide it in each other’s rooms.
I haven’t checked out the new cartoon but I will make sure to do so!

WHAT? No Four Little Ponies of the Apocalypse???
October 21, 2011 at 1:56 am
I have them on a t-shirt but it never occurred to me until now how awesome they would be as models. Now I want them.
October 21, 2011 at 8:17 am
*looks down at her shirt*
Shirt twins!
October 21, 2011 at 1:54 pm

Hasbro was in talks with Seth Green to make the actual toys, but I don’t htink it went anywhere.
October 20, 2011 at 9:40 pm
I’ve… made a few, and have a box of secondhand ponies waiting for customization – http://urbanamazon.deviantart.com/gallery/24356363
I know there’s at least one Pyramid Head pony out there in these galleries, a Gears of War set, and I swear I’ve seen one where the pony was made into a custom motorcycle. There are some awesome ideas out there, and insanely well done.
October 20, 2011 at 10:40 pm
Just incredible work. I want these so bad I can taste it.
October 20, 2011 at 10:48 pm
There are many talented MLP customizers out there. I customize them too.
These are awesome examples.
October 21, 2011 at 3:20 am
Yours are also awesome examples.
October 26, 2011 at 9:23 pm
Aww! Thanks!
October 20, 2011 at 10:51 pm
When I first discovered customized My Little Ponies I knew I had found my “artistic” calling. (I put that in quotes because I am fully aware that my skill level is WAY below the artists featured in this post.) When I see ones like these, I still go all goggle-eyed and slack-jawed. Thanks for spreading some pony love!
(And yes, I have a pony listed in my Etsy shop right at this very moment: My Little Steampunk.)

She’s sweet! I like your backstory on her and how you weave in the details of the components.
October 20, 2011 at 11:07 pm
My wallet is SO relieved that Cthulhu is sold…I WANT IT SO BAD.
October 21, 2011 at 1:13 am
The first one I saw of these was a Sephiroth pony a few months ago. I didn’t know this was a “thing” at the time and was pretty confused. Then the more I looked at them (one person had the whole Final Fantasy 7 cast! Woohoo!) the more I wanted them. I had to stop looking. It was scaring me. This is just bringing back the whole custom MLP-lust! I hope I don’t end up with some on my mantel- or maybe I hope I DO end up with some on my mantel… nggh, so torn!
October 21, 2011 at 7:51 am
Sounds like you found ManaMaiden’s customs:D She is the one to go to for anime-based ponies. The clothes she sews for them are beyond amazing.
October 21, 2011 at 4:24 am

October 21, 2011 at 2:00 pm

October 21, 2011 at 6:55 am
Is it too non-Geeky of me to want some based on “The Tudors”?
October 21, 2011 at 7:32 am
I made this beauty myself;) It was a peacock swap and someone dared me to make it steampunkXD
October 21, 2011 at 9:32 am
Bah! D: > I was actually thinking about doing this yesterday! >..> shoulda done it…..
October 21, 2011 at 9:57 am

October 21, 2011 at 10:27 am

SQUEE!!!
I wonder if Tim Curry knows about this…and has it.
When the LOST figurines came out, I was amazed at the attention to detail and how they truly resembled the actors. There was a photo of Jorge Garcia (“Hurley”) holding his and grinning so wide. It must be an incredible high to have yourself rendered as an action figure for the public. Then it’s easy for the actor (or actress or singer, etc.) to get one, but this MLP thing isn’t mass produced and I wonder if the actor ever finds out. (There is a site were you can customize a figurine for you or a friend, but that’s private.)
October 21, 2011 at 11:40 am
Various folks make cosplay customs and then give them to the person who plays the character at conventions. I know Gareth Lloyd Davies has a Ianto pony in his kitchen a fan made him and there’s a Castiel pony Misha Collins seems to be in possesion of. I’m pretty sure it’s not exactly common, but it happens.
October 21, 2011 at 11:42 am
Cookhuman’s FrankenfurterXD Another MLPArena cutomizer…just sayin’.
October 21, 2011 at 9:05 pm
The first movie my dad ever recorded on our brand new VCR (in 1986) was The My Little Pony Movie. Seriously, I love them.
October 21, 2011 at 11:14 pm
Did anyone else notice that the artist that makes these is in Finland?
October 22, 2011 at 2:00 am
Guuuh! Can’t go anywhere on the internet without seeing My Little motherfucking Pony. Thankfully these are mostly the original ones and not the retarded looking new ones.
October 23, 2011 at 7:03 am
I do not regret to say that I make these too.
