Earlier today, I posted this Etsy listing (since removed by the seller). It was a women’s military jacket, described as a “1940s army jacket from the Vietnam war.”
Yes, the 196040s were a wonderful time in our nation’s history. To honor the brave men and women who traveled back in time to fight an enemy we didn’t have yet, I asked you to create your own 1940s Vietnam war propaganda posters.

I wish my father (Vietnam vet) was alive to see this poster. Smoking weed was his favorite past time, other than being bad ass and fighting for freedom. That sort of stuff.

I think I busted something laughing!
It doesn’t help that my dad served in Europe during WW II, and I had several male cousins who fought in Vietnam.
Also, the ‘Band of Brothers’ one. That’s a rock band, and I should know who they are, but God help me, I can’t remember their name!

you first need to upload to photo to some web service first (Flikr, facebook, or any of those things), then you need to use HTML to get it to show in your comment here by using the IMG tag
[img src="http://URL.com/imagename.jpg"]
where URL = the domain where your image is,
imagename = the name of your pic
jpg = the type of image file (jpg, png, gif, etc)
then replace the “[" and "]” brackets with
“” brackets

Norwich is a military college founded in 1819. They ARE military history.
