I recognized the style from a deck my mom had in her heathen days, but my ignorance prevents me from naming it. I assume Mom had a rider deck.

Agreed that other one got me all warm and tingly in my happy parts but this one is very tarot..esque? Too bad we couldn’t combine the two.

This is beautifully done. I actually wanted to do a scene much like this with him pouring the bucket of water over his face but I couldn’t figure out a good way to draw the water. Art school was too long ago.

the troll face or whatever it is in the sun, ruins this one for me. I hate those ugly face meme’s. But the rest of this is fantastic. Really fits the tarot theme.

There are so many really fine entries! But this is one of my favourite. I love the references to real Tarot cards. Inspired a little by Pamela Coleman Smith, by any chance? Also, the sun…yes.
