Flag Day: GLITTERBISCUITS
As you know, Etsy has a very strict policy against copyright infringement. And by “strict”, I mean looking down at their high tops and waiting for their milk to foam.
However, they have thoughtfully enabled jerks like us to do the work for them, by providing the option on each seller’s store where the thief can be flagged.
And that’s where you come in!
Apparently Etsy seller Glitterbiscuits (Tyneshia Buie) has been tracing a T-shirt design by artist Jess Fink, and selling it on Etsy with no shame.
Here’s Jess Fink’s shirt:
Here’s Glitterbiscuit:

And this is how she responds when a friend of Ms. Fink’s called her out for stealing:

I saw this last night and it really upset me. But by then Tyneshia had removed the shirt from her store, and I felt like it was too late to do anything about it. You couldn’t even really flag her at that point, because she was no longer actively engaged in doing anything wrong.
Then this was brought to my attention:
That’s the banner of her Etsy store, and she’s even using the image of the shirt.
And she’s changed her profile too:

Yes, she’s changed all her store information to say that while she’s been stealing another artist’s work, you can all go fuck yourselves. Isn’t that awesome? Meanwhile, the Etsy staff are riding their bicycles around the office and drawing mustaches on their pith helmets.
So this is what I’d like to see happen.
I’d like to see this store closed down TODAY.
I am asking all of you who are reading this, and there are hundreds and thousands of you, to flag this store right now. That might almost be enough to get Etsy’s content team to put down their copies of Catcher in the Rye and start doing their jobs.
Here’s the link. Look on the left-hand side for “Report This Shop.”
Go.

UPDATE: The remaining 4 pieces in Glitterbiscuits’s shop all miraculously “sold” 17 minutes ago. The store is empty. Now let’s get it closed down.

March 17, 2011 at 3:20 pm
I hate people like this. I reported her.
March 17, 2011 at 3:21 pm
And I’m even on VACATION. That’s how annoyed I was.
March 17, 2011 at 3:27 pm
I reported her too… and I created an Etsy account to do it (which i previously did not have), that’s how annoyed I was too! Gross.
March 17, 2011 at 3:32 pm
i made one for this purpose, too. i don’t go for this type of fuckery.
March 17, 2011 at 3:37 pm
As did I. I also created a Regretsy account just to tell you that (Lame), but to also say that this site is hilarious! Love it.
March 17, 2011 at 3:39 pm
Yep. Had to create and Etsy account just for this… Though about making a few… Either way I hope she chokes on her Twilight Manllow w/ life-like cloth dong.
March 17, 2011 at 3:40 pm
I did too, can’t believe her stupid theiving ass
March 17, 2011 at 3:41 pm
I also created an etsy account for the sole purpose of reporting this scumbag. However, I did use some derogatory language regarding the etsy employees lack of initiative to do their jobs, so they might not count mine.
March 17, 2011 at 3:44 pm
Yeah, I know how you feel. Got mine made too just to send her thieving ass a wake-up call.
March 17, 2011 at 3:45 pm
Yep, same here. Her smugness about it is the most irritating part.
March 17, 2011 at 3:46 pm
Funny enough, the I had an account, but only to buy one of those Made In China chrysanthemum rings posted here and something I saw on Cheezburger.
March 17, 2011 at 3:52 pm
Me too! Hate people who thrive on negativity.
March 17, 2011 at 3:59 pm
I did the exact same thing. The worst part about her is that she’s bragging about it. I mean, the other people Helen has called upon us to flag have been resellers, but this chick…she’s just a bitch.
March 17, 2011 at 4:03 pm
I also created an account to report her. What a rude bitch.
March 17, 2011 at 4:52 pm
I too created an account just to be able to report this %@$&!. I also told them that I design & make jewelry and while I’ve thought about selling on Etsy, I will NEVER do so as long as this is allowed to go on. Maybe when they see it as a matter of lost revenue streams they’ll do something.
March 17, 2011 at 4:57 pm
Count me in the new-account holder Regretsy Thug Club.
March 17, 2011 at 5:15 pm
I created an Etsy account to report her and then created a WordPress account to tell you I’d created an Etsy account to report her.
Worth it.
March 17, 2011 at 5:38 pm
Wow, I also created an Etsy account just to report her! I wonder if their statistics person is sitting in an office wondering why so many people have created accounts today? Or maybe they’ve just gone out for a nonfat soy latte.
March 17, 2011 at 6:12 pm
First I join Regretsy for the “Members Only” thing (misinterpreting the requirements) then I join the facebook group so I can actually get the password, and now you’ve got me setting up an Etsy account so I can report this stupid bitch. You are slowly dragging me into your world of arts and craps.
March 17, 2011 at 6:17 pm
Me too! I also left a little note at the end of my rant that Etsy should probably send some thankyou cards over Regretsy way. After all, we’re technically doing their job for them!
March 17, 2011 at 6:30 pm
Just popping in to say “me too.”
March 17, 2011 at 7:11 pm
As did I. Her level of disrespect is awe inspiring.
March 17, 2011 at 7:51 pm
I, too, created an account just to report her. Such a vile person…
March 17, 2011 at 9:57 pm
Also bought my first handmade item off of Etsy today! All in all, a good time.
March 17, 2011 at 10:49 pm
Same here. Un-creative bitches like her need to go.
March 17, 2011 at 11:14 pm
Same here. and a regretsy account for this. i guess my lurking days are done. >.>
March 18, 2011 at 9:16 am
I also created an account just to report her. What a bitch.
March 18, 2011 at 9:50 am
I made an Etsy account, too, just to report this brat. She has absolutely no reason to be so self-entitled about stealing, and needs to rug pulled out from under her.
Hope you get a concussion from your fall, stealerbiscuits.
March 18, 2011 at 2:48 pm
i did the same. i hope she chokes on her plagiarized cookies and milk. ;D
March 19, 2011 at 11:02 am
I’m embarrassed to say that I now have an etsy account. But it’s worth it to report her.
March 17, 2011 at 3:49 pm
I’m on vacation too! I know I would hate it if someone stole my artwork. There is something called a copyright law which part of states that anything posted online (words, pictures, etc.) is protected and this girl can be majorly sued over this blatant theft.
March 17, 2011 at 4:59 pm
Still catching up on reading all the comments here, but is anyone screen-capping her store?
March 17, 2011 at 3:39 pm
Reported her. Hell I even remembered my Etsy password to do so! LOL
Fucking hate people like her. And then to BRAG about it. That’s the worst.
March 17, 2011 at 8:59 pm
I had to try to remember by Etsy pass too….and my username. :p
March 17, 2011 at 3:54 pm
what if we get her shop removed and she opens up another shop? i hate her.
March 17, 2011 at 4:28 pm
That’s what I thought the instant Helen said to report her… I bet she’ll think it’s funny her shop got closed and will just keep making sites. =/ Lots of selling sites have people like that. I don’t know why. We obviously need more chlorine in the gene pool.

Fact: You not liking the original idea is irrelevant. It’s not her work to sell.
Fact: Just because a lot of people are stealing the same idea on Zazzle doesn’t make this less of a theft.
March 17, 2011 at 7:18 pm
By the time I got here she had pulled up stakes. Somebody please take note of her main items, so we can find her when she opens a new shop?!
March 17, 2011 at 4:54 pm
etsy would eventually catch it- they make you list all of your accounts in your profile, so i think they can see by your ip address or something.
that is how they caught “sock puppets” and disabled accounts in the forums.
i HATE that the seller shows no remorse in her actions. this is taking way from artists like myself who actually bust our asses to get sales.
i reported her, but of course etsy will take their sweet time, as always
March 17, 2011 at 6:01 pm
@sistahsenn: I think you’re mistaken–Jess Fink is the actual creator of this design. Seeing it on zazzle doesn’t prove that she didn’t design it. In this case, it means it’s being ripped off.

So copyright infringement is okay because a lot of other people are doing it? The Fink t-shirt has been for sale for a *long* time on threadless and has been copied many times, but that still doesn’t make it okay – and this wench is *admitting* to copying *this specific artist* so… it isn’t like we’re even making this up.

Copyright law is confusing & there are lots of myths about it. It definitely does NOT cost $10,000/piece. The originator of a piece of art automatically holds its copyright, which he or she can then register (in the U.S.) at http://www.copyright.gov for $35. Even if a copyright is registered, defending it takes a lot of time, effort & resources. Definitely not cool to be copying & profiting from a small-time t-shirt artist’s work, whether on Etsy or on Zazzle. Not sure how effective this campaign will be, though, since Etsy specifies that flagging is not meant for intellectual property matters: http://www.etsy.com/policy/dosdonts#flagging
March 17, 2011 at 6:05 pm
‘Copyrights cost about $10 000 a piece’
Ummm…excuse me sir, I believe you’re thinking of TRADEMARKS. Copyright does not cost a thing, so she could possibly sue to stop this young lady copying her work.
The only stumbling block would be how many she made, as in some jurisdictions it’s not considered a copyright-able artwork if it’s been ‘mass-produced’ – that’s why Target can make blatent copies of high fashion label items.
I would still initiate proceedings against her though, to scare her off continuing to do this stuff.
Sincerely,
A law student who very recently studied copyright law
March 17, 2011 at 6:20 pm
I don’t know why I can’t respond deirectly to sistahsenn, but I guess this is close enough.
Dear, a copyright does not cost $10,000. For a single work, it’s $35. And well worth the cost if you’re planning to sell items featuring your design.
That’s assuming she went through the U.S. Copyright office, of course. Creative Commons is free, though it provides somewhat less legal protection, as it was designed specifically for providing attribution on publicly shared works. (That’s what I use for my published knitting patterns.)
March 17, 2011 at 6:40 pm
Sorry for appending this to your comment, Arghlita.
Sistasenn,
I always find it hilarious when those throwing around accusations of stupidity have no grasp on the English language. “Your” is a possessive word, while “you’re” is a contraction for “you are.”
Example:
Your comment was inane and full of unfunny.
vs.
You’re acting like quite crusty douchenozzle on this thread.
PS- Google is your friend: http://www.copyright.gov/docs/fees.html The most expensive fee listed is $760, not the $10,000 you quoted.
March 17, 2011 at 8:24 pm
Smath, your understanding of copyright law is pretty poor for someone who just took a copyright class. Something being mass produced does not prevent it from being copyrighted, you know, like books. The reason stores can knock off fashion items is that there is currently no design copyright for clothes (there is one for boat hulls though!) They still have to be careful to avoid violating trademark (three stripes means Adidas sues Payless and wins, even if you claimed it was FOUR stripes and the three stripes are just the background,) and reuse of copyright protected works, as is likely the case with the drawing reproduced here.
March 17, 2011 at 9:27 pm
regretfaster, I suppose you could treat the drawing as a separate ‘work’ to the actual shirt if you liked, but whether that would suceed is another matter. There is, at least where I am, an open debate about clothing as ‘art’ and whether it can fit in.
And yes, of course company symbols on items can’t be copied (because they are trademarks, not because they are copyright)
Also, I should add I studied Australian copyright law (because I’m in Australia) so there may be technical differences if this is all US-based. But it’s pretty similar for the most part because of agreements between countries.
So don’t be a hater, hater.
March 18, 2011 at 7:22 am
I agree with Arghlita here. Fink has had the shirt on threadless for quite a long time and she even stated on her website that threadless has lawyers for copyright infringement, etc. Fink’s t-shirt design is HER design.
March 17, 2011 at 5:40 pm
You must be more than a little confused if you think that bad karma is going to get us for flagging a mean-spirited, self-admitted plagiarist.
March 17, 2011 at 5:56 pm
Copyrights don’t cost around $10,000, they cost under (like, WAY under) $100. I think you’re thinking of a PATENT.
March 17, 2011 at 5:57 pm
Seriously? A copyright costs 10,000? I’m pretty sure a work is instantly copyrighted once it’s created. And then about 30 bucks to officially register it…
Oh, and it’s “You’RE young and apparently dumb”
March 17, 2011 at 5:59 pm
I don’t think you know the difference between copyright and trademark. It costs nothing to copyright something, it became copyrighted as soon as she made it and she doesn’t have to register it with anyone. If you need a simple guide, here you go: http://www.copyright.gov/help/faq/
Also, I feel like the craft version of Anonymous! Whee!
March 17, 2011 at 6:00 pm
My comment was @sistahsenn in case that wasn’t clear.
March 17, 2011 at 6:02 pm
Sistahsenn I don’t know where you’re getting your information but you could not be more wrong. Copyright has nothing to do with how long something has been around. As an artist the moment you create a piece of art work you own the copyright to that work. Period. No money needed. HOWEVER for an infringement case to hold up in court you need to register your work with the US Copyright Office which costs $35. That price can cover an entire collection of images and designs, which is what I do for my photographs every year. $35 and I’ve officially registered hundreds of images. Saying that “copyrights” cost $10,000 a piece is just laughable.
http://www.copyright.gov/help/faq/faq-register.html I found this link in about five seconds by googling “register copyright”. You ought to try checking your facts before you go running your mouth.
March 17, 2011 at 6:08 pm
Dipshit, you don’t have to pay for a copyright. You can pay to register it, but even if you don’t, your original works are legally protected. Twit.
March 17, 2011 at 6:09 pm
Quite frankly, my problem isn’t even the copyright issue. It’s the fact that someone drew to her attention the fact that she was copying someone. So did she apologize? No. Did she defend her actions using words similar to yours, explaining why she felt she had the right to produce the shirt? No. She got cocky, and bitchy, and obnoxious, splaying her pride at her own maliciousness all over her store. So even if ten thousand million people make the same damn shirt, the bitch’s store should be closed, ’cause she’s one of those awful people who don’t deserve good things.
March 17, 2011 at 7:04 pm
Well said.
March 17, 2011 at 7:15 pm
No, I’m totally with you on this.
I wouldn’t have even cared that much if her initial response was a refusal to take the shirt. I would have thought it was shitty, but that’s about it.
But to jump from “I’m not going to take down my merchandise” to “HAHAHHA YEAH THAT’S RIGHT, I RIPPED YOU OFF” is so inexcusably douchey. For that reason alone, I’m glad HK brought it to my attention. If nothing else, I’ll remember to never purchase anything from her store (once I have money for Etsy).
I don’t care how original her future merchandise might be, I just don’t want to deal with an asshole. What’s next? Is she going to start making nasty banners directed at people who left her negative feedback?
March 18, 2011 at 5:32 am
Yup Yup Yup. Along the lines of what drunkenatheist said, I think most folks who make art in any kind of volume have had the experience of creating a piece only to realize later “OH SHIT. I totally accidentally ripped off that person.” Maybe you saw it once and didn’t consciously remember it but it stuck in your brain SOMEWHERE and you copied it w/o realizing that is what you were doing. That is not a big deal if, you know, you QUIT COPYING THE PIECE and feel bad about it. Shit happens and Googling for look-a-likes of every piece you make just to check would be a little ridiculous an ineffective.
March 17, 2011 at 6:20 pm
@sistahsenn: You are mistaken. I bought one of the original run of this Jess Fink T-Shirt 2 years ago for my daughter, for her birthday, TWO YEARS AGO.
My 16 year old daughter LOVES Jess Fink’s work, and I’ve bought more than a few of her designs. Don’t even try to tell me I don’t know her work when I see it.
The ones at Zazzle are rip-offs of Jess Fink’s design, just as the ones that this triffel’n little twatwaffle bitch’s T-Shirts are.
So there’s your “facts”, Darling.
March 17, 2011 at 7:31 pm
THERE! ^ We have a WITNESS!
Not that I didn’t have faith in HK’s research skills to begin with. Grrr.
March 17, 2011 at 6:37 pm
Oh, no! Please don’t reference karma at us! We swear we’ll be good and apathetic and let douchetards like Glitterbiscuits get away with all manner of ridiculously heinous shit. Personally, I would like to see you care less. Maybe then you’ll shut the fuck up.
March 17, 2011 at 7:01 pm
Who is this sistahsenn troll? Haven’t seen her around before, perhaps a new Regretsy account so she can support the thief?
March 17, 2011 at 7:43 pm
I think she IS the thief. Who else would so ardently defend this behavior AND exhibit such ignorance of the copyright process, despite claiming to be a “professional”? I’ve met Jess on several occasions and we have some mutual friends — I’m aware of her previous troubles with D & G (she’s not the only one who’s had problems like that with them) and also how long she’s had the milk & cookies design. I’m glad Regretsy has screencaptured much of Glitterbiscuit’s gloating, self-incriminating behavior. I suspect whatever legal channels Jess chooses to go through will find it quite interesting.
March 18, 2011 at 9:59 am
Jennydevildoll, if glitterbiscuits had an account she’d just copy sistahsenn’s comments and dare you to do something about it. Then delete all of them, saying they got too popular to be left up.
March 17, 2011 at 7:04 pm
So why aren’t you reporting them too? Are you going to watch the parade or join it?
March 17, 2011 at 7:24 pm
I don’t think that word means what you think it means. By “that word” I mean, false claim, shaming your own selves, pretenses, Karma — oh, hell, most of ‘em (including ‘Google,’ apparently…)
And most probably “someone I don’t know” — Methinks the lady doth protest too much
March 17, 2011 at 7:27 pm
No matter how common it’s become, SOMEBODY came up with it first- why can’t you believe Hellen Killer’s been talking to that person? Why do you assume she’s dumb enough to be a pawn for some liar? It seems you’re just scrounging for excuses to be contrary.
March 17, 2011 at 7:33 pm
You’re Glitterbiscuit’s mom, aren’t you.
March 17, 2011 at 8:06 pm
Karma? Darling, this IS Karma. Blatantly stealing someone’s design and taunting them with how much money you’re making off of it? And then suddenly you’re on Regretsy and people are going out of their way to shut you down? Bitch please.
March 17, 2011 at 10:31 pm
So are you a friend of this Etsy seller or are you one of her sockpuppets?
Honestly, what part of ‘Don’t steal other people’s ideas’ is so damn hard to understand?
(I can’t believe my first comment on Regretsy wasn’t about bedazzled vags, but TO a bedazzled vag instead. Crazy world.)
March 18, 2011 at 12:00 am
There are hundreds of versions of this shirt out there because people love ripping Jess Fink and Threadless off.
March 18, 2011 at 4:19 am
I’ve actually created a Regretsy account for the sole purpose of telling you you’re a twat, sistahsenn. You twat.
March 18, 2011 at 5:23 am
Seriously, Jess Fink’s Cookie Loves Milk T-shirt has been on threadless for YEARS. SHE IS THE ORIGINAL ARTIST. Not wanting to believe it doesn’t make it not true.
March 18, 2011 at 1:25 pm
Yep, that’s why I reported her to threadless’s customer support.
March 18, 2011 at 10:40 pm
Your ignorance is infuriating (and so played out. Pompous douchebag’s been done before, not an original idea). You’re clearly confused but instead of taking a step back and thinking it through you decide to be an asshole instead. I get that you’re saying the idea isn’t original but that’s not the argument here. This Glitterbiscuits broad is actually tracing Jess Fink’s artwork AND profiting from it which is not okay. I can paint/sell a portrait of a woman smiling with no trouble but not if I trace/sell the Mona Lisa.
Also, this isn’t the first time Jess has had her work stolen. Todd Goldman (David and Goliath) has stolen this design and her Soap shirt so I’m sure there’s lots of variations floating around. I love how you mentioned you don’t know either girl yet your quick to say that the idea didn’t originate from Jess.

But if you repeat it over and over, it becomes okay. Just like art theft!
March 17, 2011 at 6:07 pm
Lol @ Arghlita
March 17, 2011 at 6:55 pm
But she has to defend herself… ahem, I mean, she has to defend this random Etsy person who is definitely not her, forever.
March 18, 2011 at 11:10 am
Why don’t you just delete the comment, Helen? After all, It’s YOUR blog.
March 18, 2011 at 11:53 am
No! No! Don’t delete her comments! We’re bloodthirsty and, as she said, LOVE a good ‘lynching’! Think about it! Now we can lynch HER! Isn’t that just great? THIS shark here has smelled blood QwQ
March 17, 2011 at 6:05 pm
also pick up a thesaurus and learn a new word for lynching, your lack of vocabulary is really starting to annoy me
March 17, 2011 at 6:06 pm
The fact that other people are stealing the design does not make it less of a crime. Copyright infringement is A CRIME and should be treated as such. Not only is this chick a criminal she’s an asshat, so yah, we’re not going to be nice to her.
March 17, 2011 at 6:59 pm
@sistahsenn, you think you can play the race card (i.e., using the word “lynching”) and we’ll all go scurrying for cover. In your ignorance, you don’t understand that Regretsy tries to take down all sellers who cheat as flagrantly as Glitterbiscuits did. Then add in the fact that Glitterbiscuits is mocking the person she copied instead of trying to disappear quietly, and she’ll get no sympathy from anyone except you.
March 17, 2011 at 7:06 pm
Aw, Glitterbitch, is that you, you sly devil?
March 17, 2011 at 9:11 pm
Why the fuck do you keep bringing up lynching? Is it because HK is white and the seller is black, and therefore everyone on here must be lynching the poor black seller?? Fuck that stupid shit. Speaking as someone who has had to deal with racism, shut your fucking facehole. Lynching isn’t something to be compared to some butthurt egocentric ripoff artist who got hammered for her BS.
March 17, 2011 at 10:35 pm
Thank you. It’s stupid to call it ‘lynching’ when she’s been inviting all this attention on herself.
March 18, 2011 at 7:55 am
Mickey Mouse is old too, yet amazingly, it’s ILLEGAL to sell unlicensed copies of that image. Age does not change the fact that something is copyright protected. Besides that, even if it weren’t copyright protected it’s not good business to blatantly rip off someone else’s work and claim it as your own, or to be indignant and gloat when you’re called out on it. A thief is a thief is a thief.
March 17, 2011 at 6:58 pm
I created an Etsy account AND signed up on this blog (after reading it for-evah) just so I could report her, and tell you all about it. What a nasty person. I hope her t-shirts give her a horrible rash.
March 17, 2011 at 8:28 pm
Me too and me too.
March 17, 2011 at 8:31 pm
I reported her from work today.. when I got home, I was pleased to see that she backed down. I’m still badgering etsy to toss her. They HAD to have seen her cocky fucking flippant attitude from earlier. I asked them why they’d keep such an arrogant bitch (in not so many words) on their site. She has no regard or understanding of copyright. Fuck her.
March 18, 2011 at 3:09 am
I also created an Etsy account just so I could report her. Some people just have no morals!
March 18, 2011 at 5:54 am
I asked for an early break at work to go report this kooky bitch. For shame.
March 17, 2011 at 3:20 pm
I can’t believe she doesn’t see any repercussions coming. Bitch goin’ down.
March 17, 2011 at 3:21 pm
“Do you hear me? NO COMEUPPANCE!!”
March 17, 2011 at 3:20 pm
Done and done.
March 17, 2011 at 3:20 pm
i actually signed in to etsy to do this. i had forgotten my password, but i eventually figured it out. the fact that she’s gloating is the worse part. what a piece of shit.
March 17, 2011 at 3:47 pm
Rude, rude, rude.
This chick is just plain rude.
And the worst part of it all? She didn’t even have the decency to make her knock off version even half as good as the original.
Her version looks like something a disabled 3 year old made at preschool.
March 17, 2011 at 4:45 pm
why are you putting down disabled 3 yr olds?
March 17, 2011 at 4:58 pm
I’m not, in fact I encourage them to open their own Etsy shops.
March 17, 2011 at 6:15 pm
i have a disabled 3yo preschooler and she would never rip off someone else’s work…
March 17, 2011 at 7:18 pm
That’s because, whiterabbit, you as her mother taught her better. The pitiful excuse for human excrement calling herself Glitter biscuit was apparently raised by things far worse than wolves.
March 17, 2011 at 3:20 pm
Flagged!
March 17, 2011 at 3:53 pm
Funny coincidence: I went to look at the Etsy Facebook page and it currently features a video called “Handmade Portraits: Biscuit Scout”. Eerie!

Done and Done.
March 17, 2011 at 3:21 pm
done done done. adios glitterbiscuit!
March 17, 2011 at 3:21 pm
JOINED etsy to do this. She actually has “Thanks, Jess!” on there….
March 17, 2011 at 7:36 pm
My jaw literally dropped when you said that. WTF. Douchiest douche EVER!! Glitterdouche…ewww, scratchy, ha ha!
March 18, 2011 at 6:02 pm
Glitterdouche…the next big thing on Etsy.
March 17, 2011 at 3:22 pm
Done and done. There is nothing worse than when people steal other’s creative ideas.
Regretsy is a force to reckoned with, lol!!
March 17, 2011 at 3:22 pm

March 17, 2011 at 3:22 pm

March 17, 2011 at 3:23 pm
Evil biscuit reported.
March 17, 2011 at 3:23 pm
You know..I just so happen to know one of the head graphic designers at etsy, and left them a link on their Facebook wall to your article.
March 17, 2011 at 3:40 pm
Like times a million.
March 17, 2011 at 7:08 pm
That is a tanker filled with WIN.
March 17, 2011 at 3:23 pm
i dont use etsy other than to browse and laugh at. but i registered just so i could report the shop.
March 17, 2011 at 3:23 pm
Unfortunately we can’t shut down the flea market. Never mind, karma is an ironic bitch; eventually she’ll choke to death on a chocolate chip cookie.
March 17, 2011 at 3:31 pm
I hope she chokes on a fucking glitter biscuit.
March 17, 2011 at 3:56 pm
What is a glitter biscuit? Am I the only one picturing a blinged out vagina?
March 17, 2011 at 6:56 pm
No.
March 17, 2011 at 7:07 pm
Hell no.
March 17, 2011 at 8:20 pm
I was thinking more along the lines of what the dogs poops out after he gets into the craft supplies….
March 17, 2011 at 9:13 pm
@iamhydrogen14 – many years ago I coined the phrase “glitterfarts” after hearing just such a story. The Yahoo group has gone dormant except fit the occasional spam.
March 17, 2011 at 10:39 pm
wasn’t there a picture of a glitter biscuit on regretsy the other day… the muppet goiter made of a peach pit?
March 17, 2011 at 3:58 pm
But if one knew the location of the flea market, one could, in theory, alert local whoever-is-in-charge-of-these-things about counterfeit merchandise being sold by Glitterbitchface’s Real Name. I see people in very official uniforms busting fake-sellers left and right at the local flea market, usually fake sports shirts and knockoff DVDs.
March 17, 2011 at 7:41 pm
Who saw this store when it was up?! Hellen? Anyone know her city? We need to keep the pressure on!
March 18, 2011 at 5:34 am
It was originally Atlanta…
March 17, 2011 at 4:51 pm
I’d love to just go park a chair next to her table with a bell & a sign that says “Don’t buy from BiscuitBitch, she steals her designs & is proud of it!”
Perfectly good use of a Saturday!
March 17, 2011 at 6:35 pm
Shortly before arriving at Glittertwatwaffle’s stall at the Flea Market, be sure to eat a whole bag of Taco Hell stuffed burritos. Then chase’m by chugging a half a box of wine.
The Coup de Gras? Finger down the throat. Nothing repels customers like the sickly sweet smell of regurgitated cheap wine and burritos in front of your shop.
March 18, 2011 at 2:14 pm
…. are you available for parties?
March 17, 2011 at 3:23 pm
God, I am sorry guys, she’s from my hometown, and I feel like I should actually find a way to deliver that bag of poo.
REPORTED. Unbelievable.
March 17, 2011 at 3:27 pm
I’ll send a donation if this happens.
March 17, 2011 at 4:42 pm
For some reason, I red that as “I’ll send a donation of herpes.”
I support this initiative.
March 17, 2011 at 4:51 pm
…and obviously that’s supposed to say “read” not “red”
Laugh if you must.
March 18, 2011 at 12:40 am
I’ll donate too. Do you take paypal?
March 18, 2011 at 4:17 am
Man, I can be a real bitch when I’m sleep deprived. Well, more so than usual.
March 17, 2011 at 3:29 pm
You could put the poo on a piece of barnwood, take a photo and then turnaround and sell it ou Etsy!!
Two birds, ones stone. Multi-tasking ROCKS
March 17, 2011 at 3:35 pm
Maybe you could track her down at the flea marker?
March 18, 2011 at 12:03 am
1. Notify law enforcement.
2. Go to flea market with a Flip camera.
3. YouTube.
4. Profit?
March 17, 2011 at 3:46 pm
I lived in Atlanta for almost 10 years. There is a certain set of population there that totally has this attitude of “you’re all suckers and deserve to get conned by me.” I have reported her and am re-posting.
March 17, 2011 at 7:06 pm
Ditto. Glad I finally escaped.
March 17, 2011 at 4:45 pm
If you could find her at the flea market, protest, call her out on her BS. It’d be awesome, especially since she’s making fun of us to make herself feel better IRL. Chuckles ain’t gonna help you now, asshole.
March 17, 2011 at 5:13 pm
If you could find the flea market where air biscuit is selling her stolen crap definitely bring this to their attention. I’d love to know she got bounced on her worthless ass!
March 18, 2011 at 9:55 am
I’ve got a couple babies that can made some real hearty steaming donations too.
March 17, 2011 at 3:24 pm
Went ahead and reported it on my company’s etsy username, too. The second time I read that she came across as an even bigger biotch.
Something is wrong with people today, I tell you. (Waving my stick).
March 17, 2011 at 3:24 pm
Done.
Poor Jess, this isn’t the first time and unfortunately probably won’t be the last
Sucks that so many people think they can just rip off someone else’s art and that there’s nothing wrong with it. In fact, it’s hilarious, even.
What a fannywaffle.
March 17, 2011 at 3:49 pm
That’s a fun word.
March 17, 2011 at 4:52 pm
I like it. But when I reported the talentless smirking cunt, I was thinking “buttnugget”.
Not as much fun, but to the point.
March 17, 2011 at 5:22 pm
My husband asked what is was about Regretsy that makes me want to combine human anatomy + baked goods. I don’t know, but they pretty much all work. Dickdonut, prickbiscuit, twatwaffle, cuntmuffin, buttnugget, poontang pie… it really is endless.
March 17, 2011 at 4:01 pm
I know, even Todd Goldman of David and Goliath fame has ripped of his design. Actually, Todd Goldman rips off a lot of people’s designs.
http://consumerist.com/2007/04/designer-todd-goldman-accused-of-rampant-plagiarism.html
March 17, 2011 at 4:03 pm
aww frack, I meant “her design”
March 17, 2011 at 4:28 pm
Todd Goldman has NEVER had an original idea and has built his entire business around art theft. May he die in a fire while choking on his own shit.
Er…bless his heart.
March 17, 2011 at 5:02 pm
What sickens me is that his facebook fan page has so many commenters fawning over his steaming piles of dishonesty.
March 17, 2011 at 7:27 pm
Ugh I feel bad for liking his ‘work’ a couple of years ago now. Though it was cute at the time. Glad I grew up.
What a dick. These assholes should all live on their own goddamn little planet together and see how it feels to have their work ripped off all the time.
March 18, 2011 at 11:16 am
Nice Vocabulary, Wilhalen. <3
March 17, 2011 at 3:24 pm
Wow, that’s horrible. Jess Fink is draws Chester 5000 xyv. It’s not like she’s just some random person, even, she’s a fucking webcomic artist.
Will report right meow.
March 17, 2011 at 3:28 pm
And I refuse to even send her hate mail. She doesn’t even fucking deserve that.
If etsy doesn’t take her shop down, I’m going to move to artfire.
March 17, 2011 at 3:41 pm
Yessss. I read Chester and I’m upset that such a fantastic artist is getting ripped off like this.
March 17, 2011 at 7:09 pm
Chester 5000 picture. Is Chester steampunk?
http://www.hypergeek.ca/2011/03/top-shelf-may-2011-solicitations.html
March 17, 2011 at 7:14 pm
Reeeeeeallly?
If Etsy doesn’t act, we can call other comic Artists and fans out on her ass.
And probably the /b/tards.
It won’t be pretty.
March 17, 2011 at 10:42 pm
Oh don’t bring /b/ into this. At least not now. Maybe if Glittertwat starts shit again… but even then I’d be hesitant. That’s a giant bucket of stupid to have to deal with.
March 17, 2011 at 3:25 pm
grrr… this makes me want to stop punching kittens and punch a human instead! I hate that!
reported.
March 17, 2011 at 3:25 pm

March 17, 2011 at 3:25 pm
Suck copyright hag. <3
March 17, 2011 at 3:25 pm
Done
March 17, 2011 at 3:26 pm
I hope the universe has one hell of a karmic glitter enema waiting for this bitch.
March 17, 2011 at 4:22 pm
And not that teensy glitter either…HUGE glitter with pointy corners!
March 17, 2011 at 6:51 pm
The kind that falls out of greeting cards sent buy your aunt.
Damn, just thinking about it makes me have to vaccum.
March 17, 2011 at 7:00 pm
argh! by your aunt. or actually by my aunt. damn tequila typing.
March 17, 2011 at 3:26 pm
Also done. I’ll be curious to see if this works– my impression so far is that Etsy couldn’t possibly give less of a shit about this sort of thing. I hope I’m wrong.
March 17, 2011 at 3:26 pm
Talk shit, get hit with a huge amount of very angry regretsians putting you in your place.
March 17, 2011 at 3:26 pm
I spend most of my rage on the fact that – seemingly – no one ever gets their comeuppance. I hope I’m wrong this time. I flagged that bitch. (<- good bumper sticker)
March 17, 2011 at 11:20 pm
I would put that on my car!
March 17, 2011 at 3:27 pm
Reported. Wow, Jess Fink got ripped off by that hack Todd Goldman / David and Goliath too. Really how pathetic that some people are too stupid to come up with original ideas.
March 17, 2011 at 3:27 pm
Done, stupid little thief. GAH I hate stupid little thieves.
March 17, 2011 at 3:32 pm
Stupid little ARROGANT thieves at that!
March 17, 2011 at 3:27 pm
Done. This aggression will not stand.
March 17, 2011 at 3:27 pm
I reported the Biotch as well.
March 17, 2011 at 3:27 pm
I really hope this bitch’s shop gets shut down. But my beef is with the idiots who bought these atrocities. Seriously, who would buy this? It looks like she drew on a white shirt with crayon with her eyes closed.
March 17, 2011 at 3:28 pm
Also, I’ve been a fan of Jess’s work for a while, but haven’t actually bought anything. I think I’m about to change that. A list of her stores.
March 17, 2011 at 5:07 pm
I am also feeling the need to own a Jess Fink original.
March 17, 2011 at 5:57 pm
I actually have a friend who’s having a baby soon. I think the baby needs one of her cute lil’ prints.
March 18, 2011 at 12:12 pm
Jess Fink = perfect for any occasion.

March 18, 2011 at 4:20 pm
Please tell me you meant off of the Jess Fink site and not Glitterbiscuit.
March 18, 2011 at 12:35 pm
Yay, RuthX, for putting up this link. (Yet another Regretsy lurker who established an Etsy account simply to report that alleged-human/waste-of-space-on-earth.)
March 17, 2011 at 3:28 pm
Miss Gutterbiscuit will be out of business soon and I shall be doing my part.
March 17, 2011 at 3:28 pm
She makes me so mad my rampant cursing makes Charlie Sheen look like a caring and nurturing father.
She deserves to have her store shut down.
March 17, 2011 at 3:29 pm
Count me among the Regretsians who created an account for the sole purpose of flagging Shitterbiscunts.
March 18, 2011 at 12:48 am
Of all the variations on this thief’s name, shitterbiscuits is the best.
March 17, 2011 at 3:29 pm
oooohhh boy that fired me up! i even created an etsy account just so i could report her! she’ll get what’s coming to her…
March 17, 2011 at 3:29 pm
Reported. I really can’t stand people who steal other peoples work.
March 17, 2011 at 3:29 pm
Done. What an…unpleasant human being.
March 17, 2011 at 3:30 pm
Reported! (I feel better now that I’ve sharpened my claws on a deserving bitch.)
March 17, 2011 at 3:30 pm
Bitch, please! Flagged/reported/whatever you want to call it. NEVER underestimate Helen Killer and her legion of minions!
March 17, 2011 at 4:07 pm
ooo….I’ve always wanted to be a minion!
March 17, 2011 at 8:51 pm
MINIONS FTW!!! Or Thugs if you prefer
March 17, 2011 at 4:14 pm
I’m no minion…and I’m no follower.
This is just wrong. Glad she pointed it out.
March 17, 2011 at 3:30 pm
Jess Fink, a fantastic artist and designer, does not deserve any of this utter bullshit.
March 17, 2011 at 3:30 pm
Anyone dumb enough to basically say, “Yes I’m stealing this shit, bitches,” deserves that and more.
March 17, 2011 at 3:30 pm
done and done here. Let’s see this bitch go down. As someone working to open my own storefront on Etsy, I hate this kind of crap. Let’s keep Etsy for the real creative people, not the idea thieves!!!!
(you can’t see me, but my fist is pumping)
March 17, 2011 at 5:54 pm
I very much agree, it’s hard enough to make a name for yourself on etsy without some thieving bitch lurking about the place
March 17, 2011 at 3:30 pm
Did it.
Christ, what an asshole.
March 17, 2011 at 3:30 pm
Reported Glitterbitch.
And I’d do it again, if I could.
March 17, 2011 at 3:31 pm
And to the comment about the Facebook adds, I’m certain it’s just people like us who want to bitch at her first hand. What a superdouche!
March 17, 2011 at 3:31 pm
Done and done again. I’m almost willing to purchase something from her to get her mailing address. I’ve always wanted to send someone a nice sushi platter in the mail–at book rate, naturally.
March 17, 2011 at 3:43 pm
Yeah, but unfortuantly, that would be giving her money. I’d hate to do that.
March 17, 2011 at 4:04 pm
I know…me too. It’s the only thing stopping me.
March 17, 2011 at 6:00 pm
Harlan Ellison once sent a dead gopher to someone at the slowest rate…during summer. I wish I had the cast-iron guts to do that to some people.
March 17, 2011 at 6:48 pm
Harlan Ellison is the shit.
March 17, 2011 at 3:31 pm
She’s going down!
March 17, 2011 at 3:31 pm
…..and done!
March 17, 2011 at 3:31 pm
Done.
March 17, 2011 at 3:31 pm

March 17, 2011 at 4:00 pm
Well, if y’all look at the screen capture posted above, on the top right under “David and Goliath ripp off by Todd Goldman”, it’s pretty much the same design as Jess’, except it’s done in felt, but whatev’s…LOL!

March 17, 2011 at 3:32 pm
Done!
March 17, 2011 at 3:32 pm
Oh holy shit I remember Kate Beaton tweeting about this yesterday.
Word gets around fast in these here
Intertubessome funnier term. Also I can’t report it myself because I don’t have an Etsy account. But maybe if I link people to this post, other people can do that.
March 17, 2011 at 5:11 pm
Get one – it only takes a few minutes.
March 17, 2011 at 3:32 pm
Done! What a turd she is.
March 17, 2011 at 3:32 pm
Imho talking about it on etsy’s facebook page will help, judging from what happened during the recent Chinese Wedding Gowns Crisis…
March 17, 2011 at 3:32 pm
Reported. Put “brazen copyright infringement” as my reason.
March 17, 2011 at 3:39 pm
“Petulance” was my reason.
March 17, 2011 at 3:42 pm
Assish twatitude was mine.
March 17, 2011 at 6:34 pm
I was going with “scum-sucking rat-faced waterhead” but I think Hunter S. said that. Still, I don’t think he’d mind.
March 17, 2011 at 8:45 pm
Assish twatitude is definitely a winner.
Also would’ve accepted “cooksourcing lord of the fucktards.”
March 17, 2011 at 4:43 pm
I had to create an account just to write “Copyright infringement pisses me off.” Totally worth it.
March 17, 2011 at 3:32 pm
Done.
March 17, 2011 at 3:33 pm
That irritated me so much that I made an Etsy account to report her and then came back to Regretsy and made an account here to tell you how irritated I was.
>O
March 17, 2011 at 3:33 pm
Done.
March 17, 2011 at 3:33 pm
oh so done.. I’ve had this happen to a friend of mine on DeviantArt.com I’ve known for years. she went to a convention with stickers of her work. a well known art thief then bought the stickers, copied her designs for a contest, which won a significant monetary prize. then the infringed art was then printed to a t-shirt even more money went to the thief via sale profits. Not only was my friend infuriated, so was I.
March 17, 2011 at 3:41 pm
I get competitors actually ripping pictures off my website and putting them on their websites claiming MY work is their’s. I used to spend huge amounts of time trying to find the thieves. Now I just let karma come and bite them in the butt…..their clients are, I am sure, disappointed in what it is they wind up getting.
But taking someone else’s idea is WRONG. Bragging about it is really bad. I would never want that kind of karmatic synergy flowing against me. That’s the kind of stuff that causes asteroids to fall on your happy ass.
It feels good to bring this bitch down. Can’t wait to see how long it will actually take.
March 17, 2011 at 4:07 pm
I know *exactly* which site/situation you’re referring to, and believe me, you & your friend weren’t the only ones made angry. Even more disgusting … while the copied shirt was taken down, said “artist” was still collecting profits from another shirt on the same site up until this week. Apparently ethics don’t count as much as profit margins.
March 17, 2011 at 9:07 pm
~_~ no ethics seem to mean nothing at all. the fact the thief made any profits by the theft should make her wide open to being sued. veevee doesn’t have huge sums of money for a big court battle though. that’s mainly how a lot of these people get away with this shit is stealing from people who don’t have tons of financial resources to fight back in a legal battle.
March 17, 2011 at 3:33 pm
I reported her.
March 17, 2011 at 3:33 pm
Of course she would call herself “gossip girl” because there is NOTHING she wouldn’t rip the fuck off.
“If your friends told you to jump off a bridge, would you do that?”
A: If her name is Helen Killer and she promises to be my friend forever, fuck yeah.

ARROGANT TWATTERY like this..is another.
Fuck that!…
March 17, 2011 at 3:35 pm
Done and done, I totally reported her, hope they take that trash’s site off Etsy. You rock for helping Jessica out!
March 17, 2011 at 3:35 pm
target locked, missiles away.
March 17, 2011 at 3:35 pm
I’d post on Facebook but can’t find a link
March 17, 2011 at 3:36 pm
Post the link to THIS page, my friend. That way your facebook friends get the whole scoop and also find out how awesome THIS site is
March 17, 2011 at 3:42 pm
Will do.
March 17, 2011 at 3:35 pm
DONE!
I love you April. You really know what to do with your hate.
March 17, 2011 at 5:00 pm
Don’t call it hate – call it RIGHTEOUS INDIGNATION.
March 17, 2011 at 3:36 pm
reported the little twatwaffle.
March 17, 2011 at 3:36 pm
reported that bitch!
March 17, 2011 at 3:36 pm
Just reported her.
March 17, 2011 at 3:36 pm
Reported. No one messes with the Regretsy masses.
March 17, 2011 at 3:37 pm
By the way…Etsy doesn’t give a fuck about stuff like this..but they DO care about the aggro profile..
So..point it out!
March 17, 2011 at 6:00 pm
That’s exactly what I said when I reported the shop. Heh.
Well, among other things.

March 17, 2011 at 3:37 pm
The news about this was the very first thing I read about this morning and so I have spent the day raging. And her enjoying all this negative attention makes me rage more. It’s like a fucking perceptual ring of HATE.
March 17, 2011 at 3:53 pm
She reminds me of those kids in middle school who would get in trouble for doing stupid crap and then stand there and giggle like it was the funniest goddamn thing ever. I can only guess people who take enjoyment out of being in the wrong are somehow mentally inhibited.
March 17, 2011 at 3:38 pm
Flea market, she says…
March 17, 2011 at 3:52 pm
Which is a euphemism for lying down with dogs. Which is a euphemism for…
March 18, 2011 at 2:24 pm
Now that high class!
Um, for the record I love flea markets… for vintage shit. Not sad “new” stolen crapola.
March 17, 2011 at 3:38 pm
Instant karma’s gonna get you…..
March 17, 2011 at 3:38 pm
And lo, Helen Killer spoke, and with her words unleashed the Vengeance of Whimsical Fuckery.
And the Furies of Fat, Resentment, and Brokedness bore down on the evil perpetuator of copyright infringement, and did sear her with the flames of rightous wrath.
Beware, evil ones, of the power of Regretsy.
March 17, 2011 at 9:03 pm
Heeee! This makes me entirely too happy. I get to be a Fury of Resentment!!!!
March 18, 2011 at 12:06 pm
Fury of Brokedness, that’s me.
March 17, 2011 at 3:38 pm
I did it. I even made a goddamn etsy account just to do it. Thanks for the tip. I’ll always be glad to help out when someone is being stolen from and especially if they are then blatantly and openly mocked.
March 17, 2011 at 3:38 pm
Reported.
Didn’t Natalie Dee do a similar drawing? I thought it was one of her designs at first.
March 18, 2011 at 3:15 pm
I totally remember reporting her Jess Fink to Natalie Dee back in like 05 for ripping off her soap shirt idea.

March 17, 2011 at 3:38 pm
This is another Regretsy joke, right? Etsy pays attention? wtf, they’re too busy denying, lying, muting, banning and closing reg-a-lur shops and scarfing up today’s free lunch in the mission-mars lunchroom. Read a flag? I don’t think so.
March 17, 2011 at 3:38 pm
Done. She disgusts me in so many ways I can hardly express myself without symbols…
(@#$%^&*@!!!)
March 17, 2011 at 3:38 pm
done and done. it’s one thing to steal someone’s idea… it’s entirely another to be an utter douchetwat about it.
March 17, 2011 at 3:38 pm
Inconceivably moronic people like this hurt my feelings. Never fear, bitch has been reported.
March 17, 2011 at 3:39 pm

Reported but, I doubt they will yank it. Then they would have to consider the ten hundred thousand shops selling harry potter and twilight themed fuckery. Copywrite? Wha??
I hate you, etsy.
March 17, 2011 at 3:39 pm
I’m so proud to work on a shop that has to stand next to something like this. Maybe my banner needs an update too.
March 17, 2011 at 3:39 pm
Reported her also. What a piece of rat shit (and that’s insulting to the shit)
March 17, 2011 at 5:55 pm
And the rat. And I don’t even like rats.
March 17, 2011 at 3:39 pm
reported.
Though if it does anything, well.. I won’t be holding my breath
March 17, 2011 at 3:39 pm
reported! done and dusted. She has some nerve!
March 17, 2011 at 3:39 pm
Since Etsy won’t let me flag a store multiple times, I made my best friend sign up just so he could flag it on my behalf.
March 17, 2011 at 3:45 pm
I found if I hit Refresh that I could go in and report again.
March 17, 2011 at 3:52 pm
Reeeeeeeaaaaally….. (Off to refresh!)
March 17, 2011 at 5:32 pm
You’re right, you CAN refresh! I have reported her for her goods not being handmade (NO WAY that she made those jackets), for offensive language in her shop banner, for copyright infringement… It’s almost a fun game coming up with new reasons! Almost.
March 17, 2011 at 5:13 pm
Thanks for the tip! I’ve reported her 3 more times…. so far. (I’m feeling rather bitchy today and it’s nice to have such a deserving target. Means I don’t have to apologize tomorrow. Or ever. Heh. Thanks, Helen!)
March 18, 2011 at 4:18 pm
Thanks for the head’s up! Even though she took down her bitchy banner, I’m still going to flag her store a few times.
I actually inadvertently wore my “Cookie Loves Milk” t-shirt today– guess the irritation with her store was still fresh in my mind.
March 17, 2011 at 3:39 pm
She’ll be rolling in all the shit coming at her today. But at least she’ll be easy to sue if Jess Fink is so inclined.
March 17, 2011 at 3:39 pm
Yay! Jess Fink has been getting a raw deal with both this idiot and uber-copycat Todd Goldman stealing her designs lately. Hope we can poke Etsy hard enough.
March 17, 2011 at 3:51 pm
That thieving assrat Todd Goldman is such a creep his blood type is DouchePositive, I swear.
March 17, 2011 at 4:11 pm
I desperately wish we could flag Todd Goldman into oblivion. He’s blatantly stolen from Jess and many more actually-talented artists. How the fuck does he get away with it?
March 17, 2011 at 8:20 pm
Oh holy crap that’s funny!
March 17, 2011 at 3:39 pm
I hate when scumbags steal the work of indie artists. The thieving bitch’s attitude was enough to drag me out from under the Regretsy lurking rock. I actually created a user name just so I could add my “the slimy bitch is goin down” to this comment list. I reported her twice, under my Etsy shop ID and my buyer ID.
March 17, 2011 at 3:40 pm
Done!
I can’t beleive this! I am coming across this more and more. If ETSY doesn’t start doing something about this I will buy elsewhere!
March 17, 2011 at 3:40 pm
Done!
March 17, 2011 at 3:40 pm
reported!
March 17, 2011 at 3:40 pm
So I posted a link to this on the Etsy wall, and it was deleted almost instantaneously.
Unless I”m just completely retarded (which is possible).
March 17, 2011 at 4:07 pm
If you were the one to say “Don’t let stores like this stay open! If someone brags about stealing, shut them down!”, it’s still there.
March 17, 2011 at 3:41 pm
Done!
March 17, 2011 at 3:41 pm
Done and done. If it’s any consolation, I just discovered an arrangement of cat vomit on my bedroom floor which depicts a better likeness of the original. She/her model has also been blessed with enough stretch marks and cellulite to make me feel like a bikini model.
March 17, 2011 at 3:41 pm
This is a demned shame. It’s the worst to not only see intellectual property stolen, but then to see it debased on shoddy midriff tees.
March 17, 2011 at 4:34 pm
it’s not even a midriff tee, it’s just tied up in a knot in the back. EXTRA SKANK.
March 17, 2011 at 3:41 pm
This is my favorite part of Regretsy. I heartily encourage more posts pointing out the derptastic thieves & resellers. HK & Regretsy readers have made an impact by doing this public service!
I also quite enjoy the snark & whimsicle fuckery.
March 17, 2011 at 9:07 pm
The heads up on reporting evil reseller/thieving asshats is my favorite part of Regretsy too. I might have what they call “rage issues”.
March 17, 2011 at 3:41 pm
BTW.
That picture makes me want to SLAP HER FACE! Rude, evil girl.
March 17, 2011 at 3:42 pm
I have been an avid reader of your blog for a few months now, and I absolutely love it! When I saw this post, it made me very annoyed. So I went right over to Etsy.com and made a login name JUST to complain. Here’s what I briefly stated.
“This user is blatanly ripping off her cookies and milk t-shirts from another person. I just signed up for this site, and I am not impressed with the fact that you have sellers on here with no original talent for their own. Very disappointing.”
Hopefully that rotten bitch will be shut down by the end of the day!
March 17, 2011 at 5:18 pm
Ugh. This is almost as sad as that terrible seller: that so many people have created Etsy accounts today for such a negative reason. Of course there is stuff on there that is laughable… but there are also many talented artists and serious crafts people who have studied and sacrificed for their talent. I hope that some of you will eventually take the time to find these other sellers and support what they do.
March 17, 2011 at 5:35 pm
I agree with LeeLoo on this one. I’ve seen too many of you say, “Etsy sucks, I won’t ___ there now!” Etsy, overall, is awesome. It’s great for buyers and sellers, and in the years I’ve been doing business on there, I still think so. Don’t confuse the whole forum with the actions of one crappy glittercunt.
March 17, 2011 at 6:09 pm
I agree. I’ve found some amazing artists on Etsy, and I know I’ve only scratched the surface. Not everyone is a thief, a bitch, or a douchebag. Etsy needs to expend some effort weeding out the bad sellers.
March 17, 2011 at 7:01 pm
I bought some great letterpress calendars on Etsy, and before that I found a vintage (1940s) Christmas card that was sent by a friend’s famous cousin.
I encourage everyone who signed up for Etsy today to buy something they genuinely like. It might be classy and elegant, or some of the whimsicle fuckery from sellers who have been featured here. Support people who make quality items.
That was such a great sentiment that I tweeted and Facebooked it. Thank you for posting that, and I hope a lot of sales come as a result. – HK
March 18, 2011 at 12:27 pm
Unfortunately, my issues are with Etsy itself, not the bad sellers on it. I can’t justify giving my money to the Etsy company even if the sellers using their service benefit.
And that’s if Etsy would let me sign up again; they yanked my account for being loud in the forums and for daring to mention that Etsy wasn’t my only online selling venue.
So typical of Etsy – being quick to take down stores of legitimate sellers who criticize them, but letting resellers and thieves stay up as long as they like.
March 17, 2011 at 3:42 pm
Done and done. I really burn at things like this. I don’t know which is worse, the theft or her gloating.
March 17, 2011 at 3:42 pm
117 comments in 22 minutes. Wow, if we all voted in November imagine what we could do!!
March 17, 2011 at 3:49 pm
I do!
March 17, 2011 at 5:09 pm
I’d totally vote for a Helen Killer/Bronc Drywall ticket!
March 18, 2011 at 12:15 pm
I tell it like it is!
March 17, 2011 at 3:42 pm
I have reported the shop, and I love that Regretsy transcends typical internet wank into actual substantive action. Yay, Regretsy!
March 17, 2011 at 3:43 pm
Screencapping their shop and linking people to this post. Can’t report it myself since I don’t have an Etsy account.
Man, I remember reading Mate Beaton’s tweets about this whole mess yesterday.
March 17, 2011 at 3:51 pm
mother of fuck I wanted to type Kate Beaton
March 17, 2011 at 3:43 pm
Appears this biscuitbroad just
Cant
Understand
Normal
Thinking
like ours or she would have apologized straight away and offered recompense to Ms Fink.
March 17, 2011 at 6:10 pm
Thieves never do.
March 17, 2011 at 3:43 pm
Reported!!
March 17, 2011 at 3:43 pm
I created an Etsy account to report her and a Regretsy account to report that I reported her. GD shit like that makes me mad.
March 17, 2011 at 3:44 pm
Ask, and ye shall receive…my wrath against this smug bitch. Blatently selling a counterfeit of a copyrighted design and her profile is very offensive.
March 17, 2011 at 3:44 pm
Also done. Scum of the earth piece of dog shit on the bottom of my shoe that I subsequently scraped off onto some roadkill down the street.
March 17, 2011 at 3:44 pm
I’ve got an Etsy account and I’m reporting this ‘artist.’ Geez, people suck.
March 17, 2011 at 3:45 pm
I reported her from both of my stores.
March 17, 2011 at 3:45 pm
Gloating much? Reported.
March 17, 2011 at 4:21 pm
Exactly. It’s the gloating.
I mean..if it were a fecking hand drawn Mickey Mouse shirt I wouldn’t care…sorry, I know I should, but taking a few bucks from the Mouse just doesn’t bother me.
But it’s an indie artist…not a billion dollar corporation…and gloating about it kinda tips it right over into “Action Required”.
March 17, 2011 at 4:35 pm
but the mouse has rooms full of lawyers that have nothing better to do than sue everyone…
March 17, 2011 at 3:45 pm
Why bother with Etsy? Contact Threadless directly; they’ll give a damn more than Cupcakeville will. I hope they wipe the smile right off that thieving bitch’s face.
March 17, 2011 at 3:45 pm
I reported her, as well. I can just imagine how pissed off I would be if I was in Jess Fink’s position.
March 17, 2011 at 3:45 pm
done.
March 17, 2011 at 3:45 pm
Reported! She makes me ILL.
March 17, 2011 at 3:46 pm
Flagged. I even had to join Etsy to do it.
March 17, 2011 at 3:49 pm
Also told threadless.
March 17, 2011 at 3:46 pm
Done and done, and reposted the link. I can’t believe anyone would be so damned brazen about it!
March 17, 2011 at 3:47 pm
I have 2 Etsy accounts (one for buying one for selling) and reported it on both of those. She got me so torked that I went out of my way to make 6 additional Etsy accounts just to report her. Burn in craft fuckery hell Glitterskank.
March 17, 2011 at 3:47 pm
First time posting on here just to tell you that I’ve also reported her. What a nasty piece of work… Surely there’s some karma voodoo tin can curse we could buy on Etsy especially for her??
March 17, 2011 at 3:47 pm
I reported her too
March 17, 2011 at 3:47 pm
And I don’t know who’s buying HER version- my three year old (cat) could do a much better job.
March 17, 2011 at 3:47 pm
This sickens me. I most definitely reported her
March 17, 2011 at 3:47 pm
How is this disgusting bitch even selling her shitty copies?
March 17, 2011 at 3:47 pm
Task complete. What shall we destroy next?
March 17, 2011 at 3:47 pm
Also it appears you can report the shop multiple times under the same profile.
March 17, 2011 at 3:48 pm
Done!
March 17, 2011 at 3:48 pm
Fear the unity of Regretsy, BIATCH!
March 17, 2011 at 3:49 pm
I hate her even more than I hated the hoards of drunk assholes that were all over Manhattan today-trust me when I say that’s a TRUCKLOAD of hate.
But WTF is she talking about when she says she got 142 adds on FB in one day? I couldn’t find a Facebook page for her, the only glitterbiscuits I found was a Sad Hipster Band.
March 17, 2011 at 3:56 pm
This one https://www.facebook.com/pages/Glitter-Biscuits/150306311653775 uses the same picture as some of her sold items, but it’s only got 1 “like”.
This one https://www.facebook.com/glitter.biscuits I can’t tell.
March 17, 2011 at 4:02 pm
bet after this she’d hide her ass in shame quite frankly and quit face book.
March 17, 2011 at 3:49 pm
What a loser. Her momma didn’t raise her right.
March 17, 2011 at 3:49 pm
THIS FUCKERY IS NOT WHIMSICLE
March 17, 2011 at 3:49 pm
Reported, and wishing that people could report without tossing misogynistic wording into the mix. :-/
March 17, 2011 at 3:59 pm
Ditto this.
You’d think she took a personal shit in their Lucky Charmed Swiss Miss.
March 18, 2011 at 12:19 pm
I’m doing my best here! It takes time.
March 17, 2011 at 3:50 pm
GASP! This is one of my favorite shirts from threadless!
This chick is going down.
March 17, 2011 at 3:51 pm
Her Facebook link:
http://www.facebook.com/glitter.biscuits
Copy and paste, it’s not a link.
Ta Da!
March 17, 2011 at 3:51 pm
Oops, it IS a link.
March 17, 2011 at 3:57 pm
That’s not a link.
THIS is a link!
(well, okay, it’s a Chinese knockoff of a link)
March 17, 2011 at 4:01 pm
That’s why I couldn’t find it, she used a personal profile for her business instead of making a business page, what a dumbass. She probably didn’t have anyone to copy that from.
You can report her Facebook page too, click on the second button that says “This profile is impersonating someone or is fake”, and then select “represents a business or organization” from the pull-down menu.
March 17, 2011 at 4:07 pm
Done and I blocked her.
March 17, 2011 at 4:19 pm
Here’s the business profile: http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/pages/Glitter-Biscuits/150306311653775
I wonder if the one person who’s liked it is the infamous whore herself…
March 17, 2011 at 4:23 pm
I did this too.
March 17, 2011 at 7:42 pm
Me too
I felt unfulfilled just reporting her once. But twice… my urge for vindication is abating now. Well, at least a little bit.
March 17, 2011 at 8:08 pm
Cool, now I reported her on Etsy AND Facebook!
March 17, 2011 at 3:52 pm
Done. Also, if you look at her sales, they all sound like they are written by the same person. I doubt sales are as good as she says…
March 17, 2011 at 6:19 pm
Before the feedback fiasco, we could probably have easily seen if she was shilling or not.
Now, not so much.}:/
March 17, 2011 at 3:52 pm
KICK that trash to the curb! Reported. I’m going to mad lib that CREASE AND DESIST letter to send to her, too
March 17, 2011 at 3:52 pm
Thieves. The lowest of the low. Reported.
March 17, 2011 at 3:53 pm
My first post here to say done and done!
March 17, 2011 at 3:54 pm
done!
March 17, 2011 at 3:54 pm
Done.
March 17, 2011 at 3:55 pm
I logged in to report this thief as well. I’ll just take her “Thanks, Jess!” message to actually mean she’s thanking me for reporting her sorry ass and showing her the evil of her ways so she can now repent. Or, you know, something like that.
March 17, 2011 at 3:55 pm
done!
March 17, 2011 at 3:55 pm
Stupid bitch, she’s going down! As ridic as Etsy can be that’s just not the intended spirit of the site.
March 17, 2011 at 3:55 pm
Done!
March 17, 2011 at 3:55 pm
Shop reported. What a smug bitch.

Are you new to Regretsy? We don’t calmly and politely discuss contemporary issues in everyday life over tea and crumpets.
Fuck crumpets! Dry flaky bitches.
March 17, 2011 at 4:40 pm
Yes I am new.
But I think this post has sped up my learning curve considerably.
I’m more used to people disliking me in secret.
I say fuck crumpets too. Can still get some tea though?
March 17, 2011 at 5:49 pm
It’s called hyperbole. People say a lot of things when they’re riled up. I seriously doubt anyone is plotting to hunt miss glitter-douche down. Trust me, grasshopper.

March 17, 2011 at 6:57 pm
No shit they aren’t pleasing you. Let me rephrase that- these racist idiots BELIEVE they are pleasing you with aggression and they aren’t because you’re not racist. Nonetheless, they are racist and they suck.
March 17, 2011 at 4:10 pm
Well, you gave a damn enough to fucking comment didn’t you?

If you are a handmade artisan, you remember this exactly, when your own work is blatantly copied and sold for profit.
See if you feel this way when it happens to you.
March 17, 2011 at 8:15 pm
Obviously Paper-Machete, you have no idea how we roll at Regretsy. We only post about shit we PASSIONATELY care about. Things like true artists with talent, ridiculous fuckery by crazy fuck wits oh and maybe crazy cunt onions with bad attitudes and no talent STEALING from our beloved real artists. If you don’t like what you’re reading, find another site where everyone is cheery and nice and holds hands and talks about warm fuzzy feelings.

Thanks for teaching me a new word. I will try and use it in a sentence tomorrow.
See, Regresty is fun AND educational.
March 17, 2011 at 5:22 pm
As an etsy seller who has had her work blantantly copied, yes, it’s worth getting upset over. If you’ve ever had someone steal your idea and take credit for your work, you’d understand. And the fact that she’s being SUCH a douchenozzle about it just makes it worse.
And, no, you don’t get any tea.
March 17, 2011 at 5:27 pm
Ever heard the starfish story?
Sure we can’t fix 99.99999% of the problems. But we might be able to help with this one.
March 17, 2011 at 3:56 pm
Reported and forwarded. I think it’s fucking hilarious that she’s ripping off another person’s design. The only reason you do something moronic like that is because you’re too talentless to come up with something good on your own.
March 17, 2011 at 3:56 pm
Reported!
March 17, 2011 at 3:56 pm
WHAT A BITCH! flagggged
March 17, 2011 at 3:57 pm
Bitch better start practicing saying “Would you like fries with that?” for her new job.
March 17, 2011 at 5:02 pm
Job? That would require some level of effort.
March 17, 2011 at 7:50 pm
Oh you know she already uses that line working at the White Castle in between her remedial art classes where she honed the fine art of tracing.
March 17, 2011 at 3:57 pm
4:57pm Mountain Time, and glitterbiscuits has ZERO items for sale.
March 17, 2011 at 4:00 pm
Unfortunately that’s because she just sold everything in her shop.
March 17, 2011 at 4:02 pm
Dang. Sockpuppet doing damage control? Retaliatory feedback trappers??
March 17, 2011 at 4:10 pm
Don’t thumbs down me, it’s not MY fault!
March 17, 2011 at 4:19 pm
I don’t think you got the thumbs down for saying she sold her shit. i think the fact that she “sold” her shit is what the thumbs down was for. And for the record, I don’t hink she sold anything. I think she might have flet the wrath of the last 30 minutes or so and pulled said shit of the proverbial shit shelf.
March 17, 2011 at 8:55 pm
Shittiest typest + Terrible speller = Me
I am sure you got my point regardless of the horrendous typing/spelling.
March 17, 2011 at 5:29 pm
Or used another account to shill.
March 17, 2011 at 6:15 pm
I wouldn’t put shilling past her.
March 17, 2011 at 4:00 pm
Woooo!
March 17, 2011 at 4:00 pm
Yay!
March 17, 2011 at 4:01 pm
That’s because someone bought out her entire store.
March 17, 2011 at 4:04 pm
Is it possible that she did that herself? They all sold at the exact same time.
March 17, 2011 at 4:11 pm
That’s my guess.
March 17, 2011 at 4:12 pm
I think Etsy or the thief deleted them.
March 17, 2011 at 4:22 pm
She didn’t sell her shit, she pulled her shit when the shit hit the fan and she started seeing the regretsy minions coming for her. Shit, can I say shit one more time in this shitty comment?
March 17, 2011 at 5:25 pm
If it was a sock buyer account, things should get interesting. After all, feedback received by a is now hidden as per Etsy’s version of ‘damage control’, but any feedback they leave for her will still be nice and visible!
March 17, 2011 at 5:26 pm
*feedback received by a BUYER
Stupid broken keyboard.
March 17, 2011 at 4:02 pm
Those items all sold about five minutes ago, according to her history. Weird.
March 17, 2011 at 3:58 pm
Done.
March 17, 2011 at 3:58 pm
Man, I signed up for a WordPress account just to tell everyone I flagged her ass. XD
March 17, 2011 at 3:58 pm
Does anyone else find it really sad that this girl feeds off of ANY negative attention? That simply reporting her is, in her mind, making her more popular?
Poor thing probably has no friends and is mocked relentlessly for her bedazzled baby-banjo.
March 17, 2011 at 4:14 pm
Yup. It is sad, indeed. Another downside to this is that it’s feeding Etsy a bunch of new registrations and page clicks that they’ll be able to show off to the investors. I hope Ms. Fink goes after her with a lawyer, because I don’t think shutting down her Etsy shop would have any sort of impact on her at all, and she’s probably relishing the extra attention.
March 17, 2011 at 4:28 pm
I should clarify, though, that it’s not that I don’t appreciate what’s happening here. I do love a good, grassroots rebellion and this bitch deserves whatever bad things are coming to her. I just don’t think that shutting down her Etsy shop is punishment enough.
March 17, 2011 at 3:59 pm
BOOM! No more items in her shop!
March 17, 2011 at 3:59 pm
Her shop is still open, though, and four of the sales happened in the last two minutes. I guess she’s getting the exposure she wanted. *sigh*
March 17, 2011 at 4:13 pm
Damn – I thought she’d had them taken down. Grrrr.
March 17, 2011 at 3:59 pm
Did a quick google image search of her OTHER shirt “Gimme some sugar” and came up with a barrage of shirts that have, like her shirt, giant lips and the exact phrase “gimme some sugar”. Not EXACT replicas, because as we all know, she’s a classy lady.
March 17, 2011 at 4:07 pm
Those “…Sugar” shirts are also gone from her shop now. ay, ay, ay…
March 17, 2011 at 4:00 pm
Reported the shop, then signed up for a Regretsy account just so I could say so!
I’m familiar w/ Jess Fink’s work from a while back. Anyone remember when this shirt was on SCRUBS? Turk wore this shirt!!!! This witch needs to go down.
March 17, 2011 at 4:01 pm
the deed is done
March 17, 2011 at 4:01 pm
Also annoying–she’s a reseller. No way did she make those clothes herself. Of course, we know Etsy doesn’t care about THAT.
March 17, 2011 at 4:02 pm
After all that, not only did I share this to my wall, I posted it on Etsy’s wall. Flood their page with this link!
March 17, 2011 at 4:03 pm
Shit, I knew you’d get me to join Etsy one of these days. This is a good reason to join, though.
March 17, 2011 at 4:03 pm
made me mad enough to send my first post. reported
March 17, 2011 at 4:03 pm
Tell Jess Fink I own HER cookie shirt (the blue one in the pic) and it was the first thing I ever bought from threadless….I love that shirt! And it is waaaay better! This girl just suuuucks. Also, the mental image of Etsy staffers on bikes, too fucking funny.
March 17, 2011 at 4:03 pm
Everything was gone in her shop by the time I tried to submit my comments
March 17, 2011 at 4:04 pm
I contacted Threadless, the company that prints this shirt, and also posted a link to this article on their FB page. Threadless is a tight-knit community like Regretsy…I’m sure they’re going to help, too!
March 17, 2011 at 4:05 pm
Created an account and reported her. Stupiud cow, hope she gets what’s coming to her.
March 17, 2011 at 4:05 pm
Totally reported her. People like her are why really great artists lose faith and stop selling their awesome shit.
March 17, 2011 at 4:06 pm
The stuff for sale on gutterblisters’ store has been removed. Curious if she did it or the folks at Etsy did it.
Since I too have been previously ripped off, I just HAD to take action on Etsy, then respond here.
Thanks April and Regretsy team!
March 17, 2011 at 4:06 pm
Reported the smug bitch. And then I refreshed to see if i could report again. Her profile is still there, but no (ripped off) merch in sight. Did the blitzkrieg work?
March 17, 2011 at 4:13 pm
I just saw that too!
March 17, 2011 at 4:06 pm
Thanks for calling her out.
March 17, 2011 at 4:06 pm
her entire shop is sold out
March 17, 2011 at 4:08 pm
I tried to report it but it wouldn’t let me submit.
March 17, 2011 at 4:09 pm
You have to select a reason from the drop down menu above the text area in order for the submit button to work.
March 17, 2011 at 4:11 pm
yes I did that. I have reported before and have never had a problem.
March 17, 2011 at 4:24 pm
I almost had the same problem but then clicked other, I don’t know why yours isn’t going through.
March 17, 2011 at 4:09 pm
…Hmmm. That don’t sound right.
March 17, 2011 at 4:10 pm
Have we prevailed? Please tell me we have prevailed.
March 17, 2011 at 4:12 pm
Yeah, but they all sold during exactly the same minute. I’m calling bullshit on those sales.
March 17, 2011 at 4:14 pm
Me too… Suspish, to say the least.
March 17, 2011 at 4:08 pm
Reported.
March 17, 2011 at 4:08 pm
Reseller. Check.
Theif. Check.
Bitch. Check.
March 17, 2011 at 4:08 pm
As well as clicking on the ‘Thief I say!’ link on etsy, have also pointed Threadless towards this blog. No doubt Jess Fink’s already been to them (they have a fair bit of experience in dealing with scoundrels) but there’s no harm in hoping for more troops.
Let’s dunk the glitterbitchbiscuit.
March 17, 2011 at 5:58 pm
Hmmm. I really liked “Perky Snood,” but now I think “Glitter Biscuit” would be an equally awesome stripper stage name. Of course, maybe I should spell it “Glytter Byskit” so I wouldn’t infringe on anyone’s copywrite.
March 17, 2011 at 4:09 pm
Well, shit, who bought her crap? Or does she have a shill?
March 17, 2011 at 4:19 pm
It has to be a shill… I looked at the ‘sale’ on the kids ‘cocktail’ dress (you know, ’cause kids go to cocktail parties ALL THE TIME!) and the description says you can get the pink or the white… no sizes. I seriously doubt that the buyer didn’t care what color or size they were getting… unless it was a shill.
March 17, 2011 at 4:09 pm
Anyone buying from her is just as bad as she is.
March 17, 2011 at 4:10 pm
Reported her. My report was full of rage, and i also emailed a friend of mine that works at Threadless (where the original is sold)
March 17, 2011 at 4:28 pm
I sent an e-mail to their customer service department about it. *LOVE* Threadless!
March 17, 2011 at 4:11 pm
Done Dideley Done and Done
March 17, 2011 at 4:11 pm
Created an Etsy account just to report her.
Also, signed up for a WordPress account just to state the above.
March 17, 2011 at 4:12 pm
Absofuckinglutely reported. I’d report her while standing on my head if that wouldn’t end in disaster for everyone within a 3 foot radius.
March 17, 2011 at 4:12 pm
Done. Idiot.
March 17, 2011 at 4:12 pm
done…happily…what an azzzzz
March 17, 2011 at 4:13 pm
Oh this has fuckled me so bad I put down Pokemon, requested my lost password from etsy, signed in for the first time in 2 years, reported the stupid cant and signed up for regretsy just to post this comment to say done and done! May she forever be prevented from having milk and cookies…..and everything else good in this world
March 17, 2011 at 4:14 pm
Her facebook page has ONE LIKE. So she’s also a LYING thief. In case anyone was wavering on whether they had enough reasons to flat out destroy this bitch, there’s your proverbial straw. You’re welcome.
March 17, 2011 at 4:15 pm
created an account on etsy to flag this cuntrocket & give her a tidbit to re-enact with her friends.
created an account on regretsy to say that it looks like we’re at least making some progress – all her items have been removed from the store! hopefully soon the whole thing will be gone?
March 17, 2011 at 4:23 pm
+100 points for “cuntrocket”.
March 17, 2011 at 4:23 pm
Haha, “flonkerton” love it
March 17, 2011 at 4:37 pm
Agree with previous comments. You are winning at vocabulary!
March 18, 2011 at 1:50 pm
haha thanks to all – glad my tuition money didn’t go to waste!
March 17, 2011 at 4:15 pm
Done!
March 17, 2011 at 4:16 pm
My first interaction on Etsy that was not a purchase – and it made me both sad and angry. Here’s hoping Etsy does something, damn it.
March 17, 2011 at 4:17 pm
reported!!!
March 17, 2011 at 4:18 pm
Why would I waste my time doing something like that? Instead, I contacted Jess directly and told her to file suit. She’s the owner, she’s the one with the right to bring the other person to court. With the information provided by the thief themselves, I don’t doubt Jess would have a pretty open-shut case in her favour. At least it’s an option better than flagging, IMO.
March 18, 2011 at 5:03 am
You have a point that a lawsuit might be more effective. However, Jess and other indie artists get their designs stolen all the time, not only by two-bit assholes at flea markets but by huge companies. It’s easy to steal a design, but it’s expensive and time-consuming to sue the thief.
Fink vs. Glitterthief might be a quick case. But David & Goliath, Forever 21, and all the other huge companies who ALSO rip off designs are tougher nuts to crack. They’re clearly in the wrong, but they clearly have huge legal teams at their disposal, because they keep getting away with it. Jess could spend a life’s worth of time and money chasing every thieving bastard and get nowhere.
Sadly, angry mobs often get shit done a lot more effectively than going the “correct” route. And I’m happy to do even a small part for any honest independent artist who wants help.
March 19, 2011 at 7:15 pm
See, cease and desist orders to huge companies who rip off indie artists are like rain running off a duck’s back.
A big pool may form behind it, but Duckie will not be affected.
Also, they get past infringement by subtly or not-so-subtly changing the original artist’s design.
That way, they can claim that the indie artist is mistaken, and it’s just a coincidence that there’s any resemblance.
glitterbiscuits didn’t do that – SHE FLAT-OUT TRACED IT.
And Etsy is claiming that our reporting isn’t the way to address copyright infringement.
30,000+ reports down the drain. Etsy will give her their blessing to set up shop as many times as she wants.
The only to put the bite on them both is to include them BOTH in a LAWSUIT.
SUING FOR COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT IS PERSONAL-only Fink/Threadless can do it.
Until that happens, NOTHING WILL CHANGE.
March 17, 2011 at 4:18 pm
Products are gone!!!!
March 17, 2011 at 4:19 pm
Ah hell…. who let the idiots buy out the shop?
March 17, 2011 at 4:20 pm
Reported, and shared with my FB friends list.
Best part of my day so far–I hope the original artist is able to take some legal action and send this stale biscuit to a place where the only fashion option is orange jumpsuits 24/7.
March 17, 2011 at 4:20 pm
Done. And for the record, when April asks me to do something, I do it. Anyone who can wrangle this many misfits deserves to be heard.
March 17, 2011 at 4:20 pm
reported, reported, a thousand times reported!
what a vicious skank.
March 17, 2011 at 4:53 pm
also, this officially makes me a minion. glad you’re my overlord, HK!
March 17, 2011 at 4:21 pm
Everyday should be flag day. Also, I am making a mental note to remember to keep my eyes open for things that need to be flagged.
March 17, 2011 at 4:21 pm
I haven’t read all the comments, so I don’t know if anyone already mentioned this, but someone posted about worm in the Etsy forums today and every person who responded only did so to yell at the person for ‘calling out’. Then the thread was closed, but obviously nothing was done about the shop. Words cannot describe how angry that makes me. THIS IS WHY I HEART REGRETSY WAY MORE THAN ETSY.
March 17, 2011 at 4:45 pm
The “calling out” rule is the main reason I never posted on the forums. There’s a difference between degrading someone’s work, and pointing out a reseller. The latter should not only be allowed, but encouraged. But then, etsy would have to cop to the fact that everything being reported ends up in the circular file.
March 17, 2011 at 4:21 pm
March 17, 2011 at 4:33 pm
I just laughed out loud and then covered my mouth sheepishly like they do in the movies
March 18, 2011 at 6:26 am
I just choked on my Vanilla Coke seeing that. Totally awesome. lol
March 17, 2011 at 4:21 pm
Reported. That was me good deed for the day.
March 17, 2011 at 4:22 pm
The best part is that t-shirt design was first released several years ago. Like, I gave that shirt to my brother for Christmas 2009 or so. Maybe she thought the artist would have forgotten she made it?
March 17, 2011 at 4:23 pm
I reported her and for the reason I put “copyright infringement and being a cunt about it”.
March 17, 2011 at 4:36 pm
LOVE it!!! I didn’t use any profanity for fear of not being heard but I did say stealing another’s ideas and then having the audacity to publicly brag about it.
March 17, 2011 at 4:24 pm
Not only reported her to Etsy (with my account) but as a loyal Threadless customer, I also e-mailed their customer service department. Flaming bags of poo are good. Flaming bags of poo followed by legal action? Even better.
March 17, 2011 at 9:26 pm
this is what I like to call a Blivet… it’s my favorite word ever.
March 17, 2011 at 4:24 pm
Done and done. If they don’t take it down I’ll close my shop. I’m not interested in selling through a site like that.
March 17, 2011 at 4:25 pm
toodle-ooo glittertits
March 17, 2011 at 4:26 pm
Now that I’ve actually thought about it a second, closing down her etsy shop sadly won’t stop her from doing what she’s doing since she’s selling them in her local area i guess. Jess is going to have to take it a step farther and press legal issues.
March 17, 2011 at 4:29 pm
I have to agree. We can close this shop but what’s going to stop her from opening another in a different name?
March 17, 2011 at 4:34 pm
If she is back to selling the same kind of thing, she will indeed get called out again.
March 17, 2011 at 4:32 pm
Reported, but a bitch like that will be elsewhere or back under another ID….
March 17, 2011 at 4:28 pm
I totally think it was a shill.
In order for the listings to be counted under “sales” another etsy account did indeed have to buy them. But I’m thinking she used another account or a friend to buy her shit.
And I don’t think she did it because she’s scared yet, I think she did it so she can post something like, “sold out of everything, thanks Jess” or some bitchy whorey thing like that.
March 17, 2011 at 6:44 pm
HOLY CRAP!! Have you guys looked at her shop recently? Now she’s dropped the bitch-ness and is pretending to be all sweet….
March 17, 2011 at 4:28 pm
reported the soggy biscuit
March 17, 2011 at 4:29 pm
I love you guys. I mostly come here to learn new names to call people.
March 17, 2011 at 4:30 pm
One of my personal favorites is fuckpuddle. Heard it in an episode of Dexter.
March 17, 2011 at 5:26 pm
can you call me mr. curfluffle?
March 17, 2011 at 6:52 pm
I like “shitweasel” myself.
March 17, 2011 at 4:30 pm
I would love an update on this lady’s store
March 17, 2011 at 4:31 pm
glad to help in any way I can. Regretsy gives me a giggle everyday!
March 17, 2011 at 4:33 pm
Flagged her.
This info about her has been circulating around Facebook for the last 24 hours, I’m wondering why it’s taking Etsy so long to destroy her account?
March 17, 2011 at 6:51 pm
It’s not a priority. Or they forgot their email password.
March 17, 2011 at 9:24 pm
That’s silly, they probably wrote it on a donut box or.. oh, oops.
March 17, 2011 at 4:33 pm
Reported this fucking skanky ass bitch!
March 17, 2011 at 4:33 pm
People like this make my liver hurt. Reported.
March 17, 2011 at 4:34 pm
Also created accounts to call this bitch out and *wave* finally de-lurk…
March 17, 2011 at 4:34 pm
And who says we can’t use our powers for good?
March 17, 2011 at 4:36 pm
I flagged her so hard her head’s starting to look like a flagpole.
Note to self, no puns after midnight.
March 17, 2011 at 4:36 pm
I reported her! I hate when people do shit like this. Or take (licensed) Disney designs, produce them on shit like shirts or mugs, and try to pass them off on Etsy like their originals. It’s called breaking the law.
March 17, 2011 at 5:23 pm
Now DISNEY would be on their ass in mere moments. What the hell is the matter with Etsy?
But personally, I don’t care so much if someone reproduces a Disney character. I DO care that Disney charges $75 for a hoodie that some kid in Haiti got paid, like, 25 cents to make.
March 17, 2011 at 4:37 pm
All their stuff is gone, but I reported it anyway. It’s completely sickening. It’s one thing to make something crappy, it’s another to make something crappy by stealing a good idea from someone else.
March 17, 2011 at 4:37 pm
Wow… How absolutely cunt-tastic of her.
March 17, 2011 at 4:37 pm
reported. always happy to out a twunt. i should get a cape and a secret identity and do this for a living.
March 17, 2011 at 4:43 pm
I need to use twunt from now on. It seems appropriate for most of the people I would use it for!
March 17, 2011 at 4:38 pm
fuck, I wish we had an area just so we could list and call out people like this. I’d totally just sit down and flag asshole Etsy during a “work break”.
March 17, 2011 at 4:42 pm
I agree. I’d love to do my part.
March 17, 2011 at 4:38 pm
Reported the vile, no talent. Hope she loses people she considers friends for this. She deserves to be surrounded by only other morally corrupt individuals. Hopefully, she’ll get screwed by one of them.
March 17, 2011 at 4:38 pm
Reported..
March 17, 2011 at 4:40 pm
I think Jess should take her to Judge Judy, because even triple damages on 30 shirts isn’t going to be that much money.
That other dude OTOH… now there’s a lawsuit worth pursuing.
Channel Harlan Ellison, Jess!
March 17, 2011 at 4:41 pm
guessing the last four “sold” items were, ahem, “sold”, but she had way more than that when this started, so she must’ve taken them down.
also, did anyone else notice that, when going through her sold items, this shirt doesn’t come up once? lying be-yatch.
March 17, 2011 at 4:41 pm
Reported. Wish there was someone to report the Etsy people to for not giving a crap that this sort of thing is happening daily.
I might not be the most creative person, but I don’t blatantly (or otherwise) copy someone else’s original work.
March 17, 2011 at 5:53 pm
Better Business Bureau?
March 17, 2011 at 4:42 pm
I had to come back and say something. You know what’s great about you, HK? You care. You fucking care. You care about people trying to start businesses using their own ideas and their own two hands, you care about people who try to be creative even when it ends up a little off (and your own collection of etsy fuckery can attest to that) and you care when people hand making and hand designing are getting ripped off and disrespected. What etsy needs is people like YOU to run it to make sure these douchebags GTFO. Unfortunately, even though caring about these things is part of their mission statement, the people running etsy simply do not give a shit.
March 17, 2011 at 4:44 pm
wow well said!
March 17, 2011 at 6:25 pm
Standing up to applaud!
March 17, 2011 at 7:39 pm
THIS. HK needs a day named after her.
March 17, 2011 at 4:43 pm
I reported her too. When I went back to her store, she now has NO items for sell! Go Regretsy
March 17, 2011 at 4:43 pm
Reported her too. Who wants to go to Lakewood and the Buford Highway Flea Market and name like the Westboro Baptist Church?
“God Hates Copyright Infringement”
March 17, 2011 at 4:54 pm
If it’s within 100 miles of me, count me in! (hmm..now where am I?…)
March 17, 2011 at 7:14 pm
The seller is in Atlanta. Those are the two big flea markets in the area.
Lakewood is an “antiques fair,” so it might not let sparklescones in as a vendor.
March 20, 2011 at 7:42 pm
Isn’t Lakewood closed now?
//is from Decatur//
March 17, 2011 at 4:47 pm
Created an etsy account to flag her! And I created a Regretsy account to say “I VOTED!”. Thanks Helen, for spreading the word about crappy people like this, and motivating others to do something about it.
March 17, 2011 at 4:47 pm
So her shop “Sold” out… I get it *wink wink wink* =P
March 17, 2011 at 4:48 pm
She gets on my nerve. MY ONE NERVE AND SHE’S STEPPING ALL OVER IT.
I hate to admit, though, that I have given Stupid Factory some of my money. Then, when I found out about Goldman I decided I would have no more of that fuckery. I shall, instead, but the “Perfect Fort” picture from Jess to put in my son’s room.
March 17, 2011 at 4:51 pm
I have 2 different etsy accounts. I reported her on both accounts! She should be ashamed of herself!
March 17, 2011 at 4:52 pm
Reported her. I’m glad someone is on the ‘job’ to find people like this on Etsy.
March 17, 2011 at 4:53 pm
I reported her! We in the creative community need to stick together and protect each other! She and everyone else like her can all go f**k themselves!
March 17, 2011 at 5:06 pm
Come to think of it, issues like this make me question whether or not I really want to open my Etsy shop at all….. I work too hard on my jewelry to have assholes like her steal my designs.
March 17, 2011 at 4:55 pm
This unoriginal, class-less bitch caused me to finally delurk and create an account here and at etsy specifically so I could go and flag her store for, “blatant and unabashed copyright infringement.”
I used big words and all caps. Do you think that those etsy hipsters will be able to drop their mustaches on sticks long enough to page through a dictionary?
March 17, 2011 at 4:57 pm
Don’t ya love how the everything on the site sold at the exact same time.
March 17, 2011 at 4:58 pm
Guys! Etsy doesn’t want people flagging stores over copyright. Yeah, you heard me right, they want us all to send WRITTEN letters!

I see, that’s a good way to make sure nobody does anything — make them do something besides click a button.
Is anyone else going to send them a snail-mail? I’m in. How about an email?

March 17, 2011 at 7:03 pm
Are you fucking kidding me?? Here’s to hoping Threadless takes a big fat boot to Etsy’s “written” letters. WTF – are we in 1970??
March 17, 2011 at 7:18 pm
If you read it, they also demand the signature of the person who owns the copyright:
1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright or intellectual property right that has been allegedly infringed upon (by fax or regular mail – not by email, except by prior agreement)
There you have it. They do not care about copyright infringement and do not care to act upon it unless the owner of the infringement informs them of it. They don’t desire to stop people from infringing, but they will if the *right* person complains.
March 17, 2011 at 4:58 pm
If flagging her doesn’t work…
http://www.etsy.com/listing/70137345/female-beeswax-poppet-voodoo-doll?ref=sr_list_22&ga_search_query=voodoo+doll&ga_search_type=handmade&ga_facet=handmade
March 17, 2011 at 4:59 pm
As a person who has had my artwork stolen before this really pisses me off.
I reported her too.
March 17, 2011 at 5:00 pm
Just gonna leave this here:
Glitter Biscuit: Very decorative fecal matter, often the result of consuming large quantities of children’s toothpaste
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=glitter%20biscuit
March 17, 2011 at 5:28 pm
Ah ha ha ha ha! OMG, that is so perfect!!
March 17, 2011 at 5:49 pm
You fucking rock!!!
March 17, 2011 at 5:00 pm
I am seriously re-thinking selling anything I make on Etsy. They don’t seem to give a damn about anything but their bottom line.
I’ve never bought anything from them and, quite frankly, I don’t think I’ll be selling through them either.
March 17, 2011 at 5:13 pm
Aw… Not to get off subject, but I have been selling on etsy for 3+ years, and it is, overall, a very nice place to do business.
March 17, 2011 at 5:03 pm
After lurking on this site forever she forced me to create an account just so I could say I reported her. What an idiot.
March 17, 2011 at 5:04 pm
done and done.
March 17, 2011 at 5:05 pm
Where is she supposed to be “sellin the hell” out of these shirts? There’s only one sale recorded, and that’s about an hour ago.
March 17, 2011 at 5:05 pm
Now that we’ve reported that GlitterB*tch, what can we do to support Jess? In addition to buying her stuff, of course.
Is anyone in direct contact with Jess? What does she want to do? Just shut down the store? Take legal action? Does anyone know an IP lawyer who might take this case on for cheap?
Let’s channel our seething hatred of GlitterB*tch into something positive.
March 17, 2011 at 5:12 pm
“glitterbiscuit” sounds like a good name for that bedazzled peach pit.
March 17, 2011 at 5:12 pm
I made an etsy account just to report her.
March 17, 2011 at 5:14 pm
Mean people suck, and stupid mean people are fun to catch and punish. Reported!
March 17, 2011 at 5:14 pm
Done. Alerting homies to do same. RESPECT THE ARTS, HO.
March 18, 2011 at 4:58 pm
I really want that as a t-shirt. Largely because I’m an MFA student & it would be hilarious!
March 17, 2011 at 5:15 pm
I reported her quite calmly and reasonably, pointing out the fact that she is abusing her Etsy shop and not using it for its proper purpose. I feel that Etsy may be less likely to respond positively to overly aggressive flaggings.
That done, it’s nice to have a safe haven over here where I can say FUCK THAT BITCH.
March 17, 2011 at 5:15 pm
How’s this for a reason:
“Other”
“Selling other peoples’ designs as her own without regard for copyright infringement and is also apparently a bitch.”
March 17, 2011 at 5:17 pm
Thy will be done! Flagged that unimaginative thieving douche nozzle!
March 17, 2011 at 5:31 pm
Damnit, why isn’t Douche Nozzle on the word of the day calender?
March 17, 2011 at 5:20 pm
WHY IS THIS IDIOT’S PROFILE STILL UP?!
I don’t shop Etsy much unless I’m looking for something in particular (mostly hand dyed yarns), and I’ve seen enough douchebaggery in that with people selling commercial yarns or ‘recycled’ which really just equates yarn they ripped out from a Goodwill sweater.
I didn’t really realize the entire extent of Etsy’s ridiculousness until I started reading Regretsy. And since then my appreciation of Etsy as a ‘handmade’ resource has consistently declined to the point where I’m really considering deleting my Etsy account. It’s becoming really difficult for me to really even believe that ANYTHING posted on Etsy is handmade and/or original.
March 17, 2011 at 9:42 pm
trust me there is original work on etsy. i’ve been making my own designs and selling them on etsy for years. but now considering much harder how much i care to continue. i sure as hell dont think they deserve to have the money my fees generate for them. i would rather have my own site running free of the fees and their erroneous badly designed changes at random.
March 17, 2011 at 5:22 pm
Gotta love the Regretsy community…snarky as hell, but definitely on the side of good.
March 17, 2011 at 5:22 pm
“Glitterbiscuits” seems like the kind of person who would bake Pillsbury refrigerated biscuits in a can and claim them to be her own “homemade” creation.
March 17, 2011 at 6:32 pm
Don’t forget the glitter! For that added fuckery!
I really want to use “Glitterbiscuits” in a way conductive to my rage in general.
i.e. “Bitch stole my Pop Tart. I’m finna punch her in her Glitterbiscuits.”
March 17, 2011 at 5:23 pm
I made an account just to report this store.
March 17, 2011 at 5:25 pm
I reported her, and happy to do so!
March 17, 2011 at 5:26 pm
I’ve lurked on here since about post #4, but this twatwaffle finally motivated me to post. I had to chime in and say that I created an etsy account just to report her. It irritated me so badly, I lost my St. Patrick’s Day buzz that I’ve been carefully maintaining since about 10:45am! And *someone* is going to pay for that.
March 17, 2011 at 5:28 pm
I HAVE JOINED THE COURAGEOUS FIGHT AND REPORTED THIS SHOP. TALLY HO, BRETHREN!
March 17, 2011 at 5:28 pm
The words I could use to describe this …person. Ugh. This makes me hate people so much. Thanks for making etsy sellers look even worse.
Anyway, I flagged the shit out of this bitch.
March 17, 2011 at 5:29 pm
glitter biscuit is not the only one stealing them evidently:
http://jessfink.tumblr.com/post/3914739489/so-on-tuesday-i-rage-spiraled-into-space-for-a
March 17, 2011 at 5:30 pm
I put my copy of Catcher in the Rye and created an etsy account just to report the chick with the glittery biscuits.
Feels nice to shake off the apathy from time to time.
March 17, 2011 at 5:32 pm
And i sent an e-mail off. Its not even really about the stealing for me, its the rudeness of the stealer. what a bitch.
March 17, 2011 at 5:33 pm
She is a liar. She didn’t sell a single cookie t-shirt. She probably just deactivated the listings. Is she retarded? I can look at every single one of her sales( only 29 and shes has been open a year.I have 23, and have been open since October. My shop is by no means popular or profitable yet)
March 17, 2011 at 6:31 pm
I just Favorited your shop. I’m always looking for cute vintage stuff.
March 18, 2011 at 7:00 am
I favorited you too.
March 17, 2011 at 5:34 pm
Done. I love watching the Regretsy machine roll!
March 17, 2011 at 5:35 pm
SO done.
SO registered with Regretsy for the first time to let y’all know. (And to see the password-protected posts, of course.)
March 17, 2011 at 5:45 pm
…though perhaps I haz the dumb? Oh well. Reported, at any rate.
March 17, 2011 at 5:59 pm
Signing in doesn’t show me anything on the memebers’ thing =(
March 17, 2011 at 6:10 pm
You have to “like” the Regretsy Facebook page…
March 17, 2011 at 6:13 pm
don’t even have to do that…
March 17, 2011 at 6:24 pm
No, you don’t have to ‘like’ the page, you can just go there
March 17, 2011 at 6:34 pm
I just sneak in there and lurk and read their comments, get the password, and sneak back out again. I’m sneaky like that…
March 17, 2011 at 5:36 pm
I literally signed up for Etsy, just to report this. Its bad to steal someone else’s idea, but its even worse to not feel the slightest bit contrite when someone calls you on it!
March 17, 2011 at 5:37 pm
Etsy has to do SOMETHING. We’ve just blown up their servers with more new accounts than they have ever gotten in a day.
March 17, 2011 at 5:39 pm
Shop duly reported.
Now. All you people who just created an account to report this shop as well? Go check your privacy settings and opt yourself out of the damn Circles, Friend Finder, remove your real, personal name if you put it in, etc.
March 17, 2011 at 6:06 pm
Thanks for the advice!
March 17, 2011 at 6:24 pm
Yes, thanks very much for the heads up. But I couldn’t do anything about my username, which is now and shall (apparently) always be “Regretsy4Evah”.
“Cuntrocket” is my new favorite phrase, and shall be duly applied to all who, up to now, would have been “Douche Nozzle” or “Fucktard”.
March 17, 2011 at 6:41 pm
Well, they won’t let us change usernames as of right now anyway, so I think you’re good on that one.}:P
Of course, if you tried to say that ‘Regresty4Evah’ is your REAL, PERSONAL name, they might decide you’re lying and deny it. Or they might decide it’s just hipster enough that it simply has to be real.
You know, because only Admin can decide if our names are real and personal or not.
March 18, 2011 at 4:08 pm
Done as I always do in these cases, but thanks for the tip!
Don’t need more spam spamming my spam box, ta.
March 17, 2011 at 5:41 pm
I created Etsy and Regretsy accounts for the sole purpose of reporting the shit out of this chick (which I did). Then, out of curiosity, I perused Etsy’s flagging dos and don’ts and their copyright infringement policy. I’m suffering pregnancy brain at the moment, but if I read it correctly, flagging Glitterbiscuit’s store may not accomplish much, apart from possibly having your own account suspended:
http://www.etsy.com/policy/dosdonts#flagging
http://www.etsy.com/policy/ip
Screw you, Etsy.
March 17, 2011 at 5:43 pm
My apologies – I didn’t see that someone had already posted about this.
March 18, 2011 at 7:04 am
I used Stumbleupon to tag her shop with terms like plagiarist, thief, bitch, and so on.
If they are going to leave her shop up, let the people that land there know her for what she really is.
March 17, 2011 at 5:44 pm
The worst part of this is we can’t take the money she already made back.
March 17, 2011 at 5:49 pm
Done and done, my report has been submitted
March 17, 2011 at 5:49 pm
The Let’s Play a Game tag has had me making references about showing her the value of true crafting for the past twenty minutes. I still find it amusing.
March 17, 2011 at 6:00 pm
I’m having visions of victims tied to barn wood with strange, octopi-encrusted devices meant to show people the error of their ways. It’s beautiful.
March 18, 2011 at 7:05 am
Sounds like hentai. More win.
March 17, 2011 at 5:50 pm
I reported her to Etsy Admin with this comment: This shop blatantly stole another artists work and sold it as her own. When contacted by the artist (MS.Fink) and her supporters to cease and desist, this shop then uses her banner and profile to outwardly mock and taunt the artist whose work she stole. This is hateful, and unacceptable behavior and this shop needs to be shut down!!!! Please Etsy, do not allow such ugly and unethical behavior to continue here on our fabulous site!!!!
March 17, 2011 at 5:55 pm
I posted a link to her shop on Etsy’s Facebook wall as well as in the comments of several of their posts. I’m off to post it to the Livejournal Etsy promotion community.
March 17, 2011 at 5:55 pm
Longtime lurker, first time poster, first time report-a-douche-on-etsy-er. Hooray for the power of vigilante internet justice!
March 17, 2011 at 5:56 pm
Done as well.
March 17, 2011 at 5:59 pm
Reported her too, though sadly looking through her sale history it doesn’t look like she ever sold the fake shirts on Etsy so they be reluctant to shut her shop, even though she may have had them listed at some point. Will probably just remove her banner
I really hate people like that…
March 17, 2011 at 5:59 pm
Reported.
This is what I wrote to them.
“Hi Etsy staff,
since you like to turn a blind eye to people selling items made in sweatshops (that are often sold on ebay with the same pictures even. Several which I myself turned in last week. ) I am sure you wont even care to notice that this seller is reveling in stealing another persons designs and reselling it here, since you are getting your cut, why should you care, right? Well, at least that is sure how it’s looking these days. Too bad for you that the REGRETSY blog has to do your policing for you and have people turn in a site enmass. Do you even notice? Are you going to sell out to cheap foreign resellers and be like ebay? If you are at least be HONEST about it and let other good sellers know so we can at least prepare for the unforgiving onslaught of cheap and toxic crap.
Thanks!”
March 17, 2011 at 6:13 pm
Yes, I realize they could shut my shop down, and I do sell a lot of jewelry on etsy. You know what though, I don’t care anymore. I have had my designs and images stolen before and know how it feels. I have had my entire websites code stolen even and no one was there to back me up. Solidarność OR NOTHING!!
March 17, 2011 at 6:03 pm
Reported her shop, though I had a hard time doing so without putting in my own thoughts on the subject… which may have gotten my own account closed.
March 17, 2011 at 6:05 pm
Just another person logging on to say I reported it … glad to help.
March 17, 2011 at 6:05 pm
Done. Store still not shut down.
March 17, 2011 at 6:06 pm
What a bitch. Everyone who signed up to report her is awesome, BUT be prepared to have your email inbox raped daily by hipster trash ads. Ughh.
March 17, 2011 at 6:56 pm
You have to sign up for those “hipster trash ads.” The only time etsy sends out emails is if there is a policy change or the like. The “finds” are purely optional.
March 17, 2011 at 6:07 pm
I’ve read and loved this site for the past year. There were shitloads of things that have brought me such joy on here and I had lots of witty comments to say and funny comebacks to the haters…but I could never be bothered to create a word press account. Obviously that changed.
I already had an Etsy account, so that wasn’t an issue.
Smug counts like this one piss me off SO baaaaad.
March 17, 2011 at 6:08 pm
today…
March 17, 2011 at 6:12 pm
But her shop is still there…
March 17, 2011 at 6:21 pm
I know which *SUX* and what’s worse is the 29 items she’s sold looks like she’s also part of the China resellers.
March 17, 2011 at 6:11 pm
I created both an Etsy & Regretsy account to contribute to this shut down. AND to say thanks for an outstanding site & I’m looking forward to my Peck of the Day emails
March 17, 2011 at 6:11 pm
This girl needs a sassy gay friend cuz she’s a stupid bitch
But in all seriousness I reported her. Hope she gets taken downtown.
March 17, 2011 at 6:12 pm
Her profile just changed:
“About

March 18, 2011 at 7:09 am
Sounds like a cheap dating site ad.
March 17, 2011 at 6:14 pm
Etsy staff are like a bunch of retarded drunken teenagers. It really won’t surprise me to see her shop around for another 6 weeks, even if a lawyer does officially inform etsy of the wrongdoing.
I wish it were different.
And, yes, stealing is fucking wrong, and the seller in question is a retarded fucktard.
March 17, 2011 at 6:21 pm
retarded fucktard. that made me giggle.
March 17, 2011 at 6:15 pm
What a bitch. I am proud to say I reported her.
I would love to say I can’t believe someone would
do something as shitty and low as to steal someones
art but I can’t.
March 17, 2011 at 6:16 pm
i created an etsy account just to report her. people like her are disgusting
March 17, 2011 at 6:18 pm
Done – just said nice layer sounding things..
What I wanted to say was “Get off your hipster high horse and shut this shit down” but I didnt..
She is a cuntbiscuit!
March 17, 2011 at 6:31 pm
Reported! *dances*
March 17, 2011 at 6:31 pm
I have done my duty to justice and common sense…
I bet those etsy fucking hipsters are too busy building a fort out of the wads of cash they make from irritating bitches like her. Fucking hipsters… >:(
March 17, 2011 at 6:32 pm
I have reported her about 10 times so far. It’s fun to refresh and come up with a different reason about why her store should be shut down.
Also, she’s changed her shop banner/description. Methinks she is catching on?
March 17, 2011 at 6:32 pm
Her profile is all nicey-nice now
March 17, 2011 at 6:32 pm
is there really a reason to use so many gender specific hate words in this thread? whore? slut? we can call her out without being sexist assholes about it.
March 17, 2011 at 6:57 pm
Good lord, thank you for this. It was getting really really freakin’ old.
March 17, 2011 at 7:11 pm
Guys are sluts and whores too. All the time.
March 18, 2011 at 4:05 am
Calling a woman a slut/whore is loaded with decades and decades of history of sexism, so it kind of still matters even if you call guys whores sometimes.
It’s a crappy insult anyway. Implying someone has tons of sex? Quelle horreur.
March 17, 2011 at 8:31 pm
Let’s call her a pimp. She’s selling other people’s wares for money.
March 17, 2011 at 9:20 pm
let’s just call her a thief and a jerk and leave it at that.
March 18, 2011 at 2:18 pm
Agreed. I like this tactic, call it what it is.

I like sluts & whores. They are usually free spirits. Guys and girls a like. Hence why I try not to use them a bad words. I prefer to call bad people what they are like a fucking thief or make up a fantastical word to express my feelings… like curdledbuttnugget. Yeah, that’s just one word.
March 18, 2011 at 2:26 pm
I should specify that i don’t like the words, I just don’t care how much sex people have to warrant those terms being flung at them…
I reread my comment and even I thought it came out wrong.
March 17, 2011 at 6:35 pm
Joining the multitude who reported her. No one should underestimate the power of Regretsy!
March 17, 2011 at 6:35 pm
So all her evil shit is gone from her shop, but it’s still not shut down.
WTF? Jesus Christ etsy is incompetent.
March 17, 2011 at 6:35 pm
Ugh, I thought using Etsy would be some punk rock way to try and promote some stuff I paint, but it just gives me a fucking headache and makes me mad. So I swore and made mean faces. Then, I reported the store to Etsy as well.
Let me note that I often use some of my favorite artists’ works as inspiration for my own. I’m pleased to say that they are executed too poorly to be considered copying or plagiarism =D
March 17, 2011 at 6:40 pm
as someone who works really hard to come up with original designs I find this kind of ripping off infuriating. Etsy is not helpful with these situations whatsoever, either.
March 17, 2011 at 6:46 pm
I hope this bitch gets her ass sued off!
March 17, 2011 at 6:47 pm
Reported her and if the shop is still up when I get home from the dentist tomorrow I will snail mail Etsy. Should be a good way to get over the novocain.
March 17, 2011 at 6:52 pm
Look at how she turned chicken shit. Jewel-encrusted steins of beer, all around!
March 17, 2011 at 6:52 pm
Created a regretsy account just to say how much this asshat annoys me. Reported.
March 17, 2011 at 6:53 pm
Hey, weird, all her stuff, plus her banner, are gone and her site is now just a placeholder…
March 17, 2011 at 6:54 pm
Did it. Bitch sucks.
March 17, 2011 at 6:55 pm
glitterbiscuits’ Shop Announcement
Im also designing a new banner, ALL SUGGESTIONS WELCOME.
How about giving this skank some help with her new banner design?
http://www.etsy.com/shop/glitterbiscuits?ref=pr_shop
March 17, 2011 at 7:00 pm
i can think of a good banner for her store, but i don’t want to be the one downloading pictures of penises to paste on her face
March 17, 2011 at 9:20 pm
Now, now, campers, there’s no need to insult penises. They certainly have their place in life.
March 18, 2011 at 7:13 am
Do you see the milk and cookies banner she has up now?
We are so not done with this bitch.
March 17, 2011 at 6:56 pm
I reported her earlier and just now randomly checked her page, she’s changed all of her shit about hate mail and shit. I bet Etsy just sent the bitch an email/message with a “warning”
March 17, 2011 at 6:57 pm
I’m guessing Etsy saw a considerable spike in account creation today!
I flagged her shop as well. We’ll see if Etsy responds.
March 17, 2011 at 6:59 pm
This is as much fun as the Cooks Source [sic] debacle! See http://www.npr.org/blogs/monkeysee/2010/11/05/131091599/the-day-the-internet-threw-a-righteous-hissyfit-about-copyright-and-pie
The refusal of the plagiarizer to take responsibility and/or show any remorse incited the entire internet world to descend upon her like thousands of angry mother bears. Her career ended.
Unfortunately, neither of these plagiarizers will ever feel/admit remorse. Because they are just a little bit SOCIOPATH.
But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t TAKE’ EM DOWN! Yay, Regretsy!
March 17, 2011 at 7:02 pm
Ooooh, just checked her shop page again and now she’s all sweetness and cuntbagels…..Huzzah for what’s been done here!!!
Apparently she loves “the Etsy community, Tumblr, Facebook, all these avenues in which we get 2 connect! Please keep the letters coming, I can’t add you guys to my fanpages, but thank you for the requests!”
Go check it out peoples
March 17, 2011 at 10:19 pm
She also changed her top graphic to a picture of fucking milk and cookies.
I thought I had hated before…
Never like this!
March 17, 2011 at 7:04 pm
As so many others I have created an Etsy-account especially to report her.
Now I feel better. Hopefully Etsy will react.
March 17, 2011 at 7:06 pm
March 17, 2011 at 7:08 pm
I should add, that sketch is from “The Real Mike Holmes” drawn just for this topic!

March 17, 2011 at 9:18 pm
He links to Jess Fink’s site. She said she’s sending out a new round of Cease&Desist letters. It sounds like having to deal with thieving scum really stresses her out, but at least Threadless is apparently really good about protecting their artists.
So this tacky little thief is going to get a serious smackdown, regardless of what Etsy does or doesn’t do.
March 18, 2011 at 2:37 pm
Maybe this time she should send out a Crease&Desist letter instead.
March 17, 2011 at 7:25 pm
a very cool cartoon. thanks for posting!
March 18, 2011 at 7:16 am
You win
teh internetsthe internet for the next six months. Duuuuuuuuuuude!March 19, 2011 at 7:41 pm
I just stole this. WHUT!
March 17, 2011 at 7:07 pm
The crustybitch has been reported.
March 17, 2011 at 7:10 pm
Another report sent to Etsy.
Dear glitterbiscuit,

March 17, 2011 at 7:13 pm
Not the first time this poor girls been ripped off either. http://www.threadless.com/profile/145276/finkenstein/blog/317002/HOT_TOPIC_ripping_off_THREADLESS_design
March 17, 2011 at 7:28 pm
My 16 year old daughter has been a fan of Jess Fink’s work for a while now. I always buy her T-Shirts from Threadless to make sure we’re getting the real thing.
I like Threadless’ policy of supporting graphic artists. They also have great sales. I regularly purchase gifts for family and friends from the Threadless site.
March 17, 2011 at 7:34 pm
We buy threadless a lot, too, and after checking out ambachan’s link, I realized I actually own 3 of finkenstein’s designs. Funny.
March 17, 2011 at 7:15 pm
Art theft makes me rage…
March 17, 2011 at 7:17 pm
reported. thanks for calling this to our attention. how ugly!
March 17, 2011 at 7:22 pm
Sorry if it’s been posted before. I try to scan the comments, but there are just too many funnies to catch them all.
In addition to changing her banner to something less incriminating and emptying or “selling out” her stock, (which has been mentioned) I notice that she changed her location from Atlanta to Ellenwood. I think she must not be so fond of the hate mail she so openly requested earlier??? Or feared an onslaught of poo bags on her porch ha.
March 17, 2011 at 7:28 pm
Ellenwood is way smaller than Atlanta. I’d think she’d be easier to find.
March 17, 2011 at 7:41 pm
She got her Associates in Fashion Design at Bauder University last year. I don’t know if it’s a “real” college or not but I wonder how they’d feel about one of their graduates ripping people off?
http://atlanta.bauder.edu
March 17, 2011 at 10:00 pm
Bauder Fashion College was located for many years in the unused lower level of Lord & Taylor at Phipps Plaza. I don’t think they were ever big or famous, but the high-end stores in the mall were very supportive. Students had a lot of great opportunities.
When L&T closed it became a Nordstrom and Bauder moved out. Now the name is attached to a school that trains security people and advertises on the 10pm reruns of “The Rockford Files” that run on an obscure local cable channel.
March 18, 2011 at 7:19 am
Do they teach classes in copyright infringement? If so, she must have done her thesis on that shit.
March 18, 2011 at 2:35 pm
Bauder has majors in Information Technology, Paralegal Studies, and Criminal Justice.
Somewhere in there you’d think there was a course called “Not Stealing Other People’s Stuff 101.”
March 17, 2011 at 7:24 pm
Hidden due to low comment rating. Click here to see.
March 18, 2011 at 5:37 am
Jess’ cookie loves milk design has been on threadless as long as I can remember shopping there. And I started shopping there in 2005 or 2006.
March 17, 2011 at 7:26 pm
Done and dusted. And I want to express my admiration for all the Regretsians who sell on Etsy and risked possibly having their own accounts shut down by reporting this twatwaffle. All I had to do was create an account, which I’ll probably never use again, because I don’t have an artistic bone in my body. Those of you who DO sell on Etsy are taking a bigger risk reporting her than I am, and I salute you.
March 17, 2011 at 7:27 pm
I enjoyed this game very much. I sincerely hope this woman eatsher shitty karma for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Asshat.
March 17, 2011 at 7:29 pm
Report’d. Hope she gets what she deserves!
March 17, 2011 at 7:29 pm
I bought that threadless shirt for my daughter like a year ago. It’s awesome. Glitterbiscuits is not. I reported her.
March 17, 2011 at 7:31 pm
I have an existing account (with no merch in it, granted) but it’s totally worth the risk to get this beyotch off Etsy. Leave the fuckery to the originals!
Also, I totally linked this post in my flag report. LOL.
March 17, 2011 at 7:33 pm
I’m willing to bet the person in the picture is Tyneshia Buie. Based on a simple internet search she just graduated with an Associate of Arts degree last year in Fashion Design.
Way to put it to good use with all your “talent”.
March 17, 2011 at 7:36 pm
Reported. What a classless person.
March 17, 2011 at 7:42 pm
I registered on etsy AND regretsy just so I could flag that nonsense, and then come here to tell you about it. I’m spiteful/helpful like that
March 17, 2011 at 7:42 pm
Please tell me that this dumb broad’s blatant admittance of fraud is enough evidence for Jess to make a suit against her and get some of that hard earned money for the shirt design.
March 17, 2011 at 7:47 pm
If you look at her feedback, everything from the headbands down, the feedback was left the same day the item was sold and likely all shills. She’s just trash upon trash.
March 17, 2011 at 7:47 pm
http://www.etsy.com/people/glitterbiscuits/feedback?ref=pr_feedback
March 18, 2011 at 4:10 am
Wow, I don’t see a single one of the ripoff shirts that “sold like crazy” in there, either…
March 17, 2011 at 9:40 pm
Yeah, and if you read the descriptions of those jackets, it says she sold them for only a dollar. Riiiiiiighttttt. Blatant shilling. She tried to cut down on the amount she’d have to pay Etsy by lowering the price. But why, why would she leave feedback on the very same day they were “sold?” If she wanted it to be believable, shouldn’t she have waited a week or so to allow for “shipping.”
Dumb. Simply dumb.
March 18, 2011 at 7:32 am
fastest god damn shipping ever
March 18, 2011 at 3:51 pm
I’m also thinking that it’s the same fucking jacket and she used it over and over again.
And also that she didn’t make it.
March 17, 2011 at 7:50 pm
Reported her. That is just shameful.
March 17, 2011 at 7:54 pm
Love the masses coming together! I am looking forward to seeing this shop closed. It’s nice to know that what I do when I am bored (Troll Etsy for hours and report violations) is a pastime enjoyed by all! You guys rock
I haven’t been using my shop or posting items in a while, since once I figured out how much crap and copyright infringement is clogging the searches, the whole thing seemed futile. But maybe the Regretsy Thugs will make it all worth while again!
March 17, 2011 at 8:01 pm
Flagged her shop, and am continuing to be glad I chose to sell on Artfire instead of Etsy…
March 17, 2011 at 8:02 pm
As someone who’s had their art stolen, I know how she feels!
I reported the shop and filled in the note too. This isn’t right, but happens alot on etsy because nobody is forced to name or credit anyone else. It bothers me a bit. And I sell my own stuff on there (Well, I did.)
March 17, 2011 at 8:03 pm
I reported this as “Egregious” Copyright Infringement. I noticed that Glitterbiscuit aka Tyneshia Buie has a Facebook account at http://www.facebook.com/people/Tyneshia-Buie/100000466675871.
Tyneshia’s theft was also mentioned at

I was going to draw a representation of the Regretsy police, but I don’t have the skills to do it better than you expert photoshop picture mashers.
This is the first times I’ve ever wholeheartedly done something as part of a group from a request on the internet. I love you, HK. Keep being awesome.
March 17, 2011 at 8:09 pm
She has changed her banner and her profile info, it’s all happy and frilly now.
March 17, 2011 at 8:15 pm
….with totally passive aggressive stuff.
(“Not your grandma’s Milk and Cookies?”)
March 17, 2011 at 8:11 pm
Most happily reported this wangnommer. Yeah, had to create accounts to do it, but I’m down with that. Now I’m awating tomorrow, when I can venture forth and actually call someone a “Twatwaffle” in person!
March 17, 2011 at 8:18 pm
def created an Etsy account just to flag her…
March 17, 2011 at 8:20 pm
I’ve been reading Regretsy for a while, but created an account here just to say that I also reported this thief. Shameful the way she is bragging!
March 17, 2011 at 8:23 pm
Well Glitterbiscuits banner now reads “Not your Grandma’s Milk and Cookies” and has graphics of Milk and Cookies so she is still pissing on everyone. Down with the bitch.
March 17, 2011 at 8:47 pm
Yeah, and those new graphics? STOLEN. http://www.karenmaezenmiller.com/kindness-milk-and-cookies
March 17, 2011 at 10:23 pm
the new banner is as bitchy as the old one!
this is beyond ridiculous, doesn’t this girl have any dignity?
March 17, 2011 at 8:24 pm
Bastardizing a beautiful thing like milk and cookies…she’ll go after baseball, hotdogs, and apple pie next…
Her ass is reported…
March 17, 2011 at 8:29 pm
Flagged the Bitch, May she choke on her friggin cookies!
March 17, 2011 at 8:30 pm
Don’t care if I’m hours late doing this. Created an Etsy account and flagged the bitch too. *considers getting a milk n cookies shirt from the REAL designer as Daughter Demon would love it *
March 17, 2011 at 8:30 pm
“Not your Grandma’s Milk and Cookies” because girl probably STOLE them from her. Poor Grandma
March 17, 2011 at 8:32 pm
Oh and the milk and cookies graphic is from this website – http://www.karenmaezenmiller.com/kindness-milk-and-cookies
March 17, 2011 at 8:43 pm
Sharp eye! The owner of the image probably does not appreciate the association or THEFT.
March 17, 2011 at 8:50 pm
But then again who knows – people use milk and cookie images so indiscriminately these days.
Also found this Flickr user with Jess Fink’s milk and cookies graphic in his stream – http://www.flickr.com/photos/31761949@N03/3539710178/
March 17, 2011 at 8:42 pm
OMG! She stole the new flippin cookies and milk picture too! This HUZZY has no shame…Bitch
March 17, 2011 at 8:46 pm
I think Glitterbiscuits is sistasenn here at regretsy…
March 17, 2011 at 8:57 pm
…..oh my.
March 17, 2011 at 8:51 pm
Done and DONE… let’s see if this works…
March 17, 2011 at 8:51 pm
pleased to see sooooo many people create an account just to flag her ass.. as did I!!!
thumbs up to all
March 17, 2011 at 8:53 pm
I actually did not create my etsy account just to flag her, but she’s my first flag. Go team!
March 17, 2011 at 8:57 pm
Pitiful. Both the seller and some of the comments on here. Some of you folks are going a little overboard. Sure, she’s a dumbass ripoff artist who deserves a good kick in the ass for what she’s done, but some of you guys reek of “trying too hard.”
Also, I’m with the others who have encouraged you to use your newly created Etsy account to check out the quality stuff. I’ve had an account for a while, and a few of my “real life” friends have shops there, and work hard for them. Look at your account as the Golden Ticket to a world of pure imagin– I mean Fuckery.
March 17, 2011 at 9:09 pm
The first paragraph of your comment reeks of “high and mighty”.
I would have given you the big red thumbs down but your second paragraph redeemed you enough to be deemed “neutral” and just warrant this comment.
March 17, 2011 at 9:10 pm
Hidden due to low comment rating. Click here to see.
March 17, 2011 at 9:17 pm
I apologize for coming across ans high and mighty, but some of the comments toward her were harsh even by Regretsy standards. Not all, or even most, but some. I’m specifically talking about some of the racist remarks and KILLLLHERRRRRR comments. Other than that, I coudln’t care less if someone called her twatwaffle or dumbass or whatever.
Imma go back to my high and mighty Aldi’s mac and cheese now.
March 17, 2011 at 9:25 pm
Apology accepted and I agree that some of the comments were bordering on the racist side. I thumbs downed their asses and didn’t bother wasting my time with a comment. They should know better and shouldn’t need a damn explanation.
Now I will go back to my soap box… that I am sitting on eating my Kirkland frozen nuggets. Buying generic food in bulk, it’s how I roll.
March 18, 2011 at 12:34 am
As much as I don’t agree with the number of people who feel compelled to call her a slut for art theft, I also understand that people get riled up and say things they don’t mean, especially when we’re allowed to be anonymous on the computer.
Better thrown at someone who’s done something to deserve that ire, though, than going and trolling random people, I do suppose. The general sentiment of the group is good, I think, just th e
March 18, 2011 at 12:36 am
Ahem, excuse that.
*just the language got a little extreme.
March 18, 2011 at 7:30 am
Bullshit. It’s not going overboard. Artists pay rent, eat, buy medical care and clothe themselves with the sale of their work. This is theft. This is why copyright laws exist. This is why, all too often, artists are starving artists.
March 17, 2011 at 9:03 pm
WHAT A CWOARD.
March 17, 2011 at 9:10 pm
Say WHAAAAAAT?
March 17, 2011 at 9:03 pm
I reported her. And then I googled “glitterbiscuit” so I could see her facebook page. But instead I got the Urban Dictionary definition of “glitterbiscuit” which is a lump of poop with glitter in it. Sounds about right.
March 17, 2011 at 9:06 pm
Reported her, can’t stand people who blatantly rip off other artists. Fan art is slightly different but teeters on the edge of being wrong as well…this was not fanart however, just utter stupid crap.
March 17, 2011 at 9:09 pm
People that are bad with money think that stealing will get them rich eventually, since they didn’t have to work for the money.
It really doesn’t work like that.
What a Thieving Hoebag.
March 17, 2011 at 9:19 pm
Right when I was starting to cool down: a new banner.
WHAT A BITCH.
March 17, 2011 at 9:21 pm
Yeah…I didn’t have an Etsy account until today (I LOVE Regretsy; I read it all the time…and Etsy has some pretty cool stuff on it…). I signed up for an Etsy account today just so I could report this bitch!
March 17, 2011 at 9:22 pm
Argh- how is her store not closed yet???
And the combo of her new cutesy language, pretending she “sold out” of the items, but mocking banner is making me ill. We need to find a way to shut her down. People like this make me hate people.
March 17, 2011 at 9:39 pm
Etsy’s way of thinking is definitely unique. My friend had listed under tools, whittling and carving (sculpting) knives. They made them remove them all, saying they are not tools..wtf..but seems people like this can do what they like and go on and on…
March 20, 2011 at 8:52 pm
I can’t even… how did they justify that?
March 17, 2011 at 9:43 pm
Just FYI – she has a facebook fan page for her “designs”
FB *does not* like people who violate copyrights. Report her there too.
March 17, 2011 at 9:48 pm
Ms. Coward has deleted her Twitter account, too. I created an account here just to echo how disgusted I am… but the Internet has a long memory. Let’s see Ms. Tyneshia Buie regain any respect after this!
March 17, 2011 at 9:52 pm
Just now caught this. Thanks for the head’s up on this, HK.
Tomorrow (when I’m hopefully not sleep deprived) I’ll use my new account to find some really original and creative stuff on Etsy for friends and family.
March 17, 2011 at 10:11 pm
Fucker.
March 17, 2011 at 10:12 pm
Also created an account just for this. Ha. Hope she gets shut down, but let’s face it – it’s Etsy. From what I’ve witnessed on here in the last 6 months or so since I’ve been reading this site, I have little faith in their ability to act.
March 17, 2011 at 10:31 pm
She thinks it’s funny? I bet she won’t be laughing when someone else she’s ripped off who’s got nothing to lose tracks her down in real life and punches her in the mouth.
March 17, 2011 at 10:40 pm
I didn’t know Etsy existed until I read about this nonsense on Kris Straub’s blog (which is currently the #1 hit on Google for “Tyneshia Buie,” nicely done, internet!). While tempted to create an Etsy account for the sole purpose of reporting her, I am trying to give up internet rage for Lent, so instead I went over to Threadless and bought the original Jess Fink t-shirt, because, well, it’s kind of adorable!
March 18, 2011 at 3:57 pm
I think Jesus would approve.
March 17, 2011 at 11:00 pm

March 17, 2011 at 11:49 pm
so its been… 8 hours? correct me if my math is bad.
my math is always bad.
but 8 hours? You’re shitting me, etsy. 700+ people have called shenanigans and the store is still up.
I could just cry.
Instead I’ll get another beer and watch Poirot. That’s always more fun.
March 17, 2011 at 11:57 pm
By my count, over 30,000 people have flagged this store today.
March 18, 2011 at 9:36 am
Holy Mother of Crafts! That’s an amazing number of flags.
March 18, 2011 at 9:59 am
Holy wow. 30,000?
I was using the # of comments left by pissed off regretsians as an indicator.
30,000.
Etsy has no shame.
March 17, 2011 at 11:57 pm
REPORTED!
Tell glitterbiscuits to “Have a nice day.” >:(
March 17, 2011 at 11:57 pm
“I love the Etsy community, Tumblr, Facebook, all these avenues in which we get 2 connect! Please keep the letters coming, I can’t add you guys to my fanpages, but thank you for the requests!”
Hahahaha. For someone who “loves all these avenues in which we get 2 connect!” it sure is strange that she’s removing the “message me” options from some of her pages, she “can’t add” us to her fan(???)pages, and completely deleting others.
Does anyone else get kind of embarrassed for these kinds of people? The ones who desperately try and appear as if “I don’t care about hate mail!” when it’s obvious to all onlookers that she’s absolutely scrambling and in panic mode???
March 18, 2011 at 12:03 am
ALSO, regardless of what Etsy decides to do (or not to do, as the case may be), she has still LOST in every sense of the word. Any potential future employer just needs to type her name into Google, and they can read all about her copyright infringement, theft, and of course her blatant disrespect towards others and attitude. These are qualities NO employer looks for… especially not those in the fashion industry.
Plus, by reading these comments it’s pretty obvious that Jess Fink is getting some well-deserved new fans, and quite a few sales to boot!
LASTLY…. (I promise, no more after this) Etsy sort of HAS to react to this. Just like the Glamour article, there are too many screenshots and other such evidence for them to turn a blind eye and not catch heat from it. They’ve been getting too much bad press lately, I can’t imagine they want to be held responsible for not taking action against a shop flagged hundreds of times in mere hours!
over&out.
March 18, 2011 at 1:54 am
I would think her “art school” wouldn’t think so highly of a fashion student who does these sort of things….eh?
March 18, 2011 at 5:08 am
It was probably one of those “degrees” you get online by filling out your name, address, and credit card info…… if it was legitimate, I’m sure she would be bragging about it somewhere on her Etsy profile!!!

March 18, 2011 at 12:27 am
Who wants to take bets as to how long it takes Glitterbiscuits to write Helen a nasty e-mail about how posting pics from her store is a violation of HER copyrights? Anyone?
Also… Please tell me I’m not the only one who thought of “vajazzling” when I heard the name Glitterbiscuits.
March 18, 2011 at 12:49 am
I thought it was vajazzling for testicles – kind of a mirror ball(s) effect.
“Hey baby, wanna see my glitterbiscuits?”
March 18, 2011 at 2:54 pm
Check out the definition for “glitter biscuits” in Urban Dictionary.
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=glitter%20biscuit
“Very decorative fecal matter,” turns out to be
highly appropriate for her store.
March 18, 2011 at 12:29 am
I don’t get it. She doesn’t appear to have sold any of the shirts, just several iterations of this hideous houndstooth coat that no one would want, even for a dollar. Is this a front for a meth lab or something? Clearly this is some sort of scam, but I don’t see how she is benefiting from it.
March 18, 2011 at 12:36 am
It’s past midnight PST and I can’t believe the website is still up!! …And now there are 2 shirts for sale. WTF??
Thanks a fucking lot, Etsy.
It might have been mentioned in the above comments, but there is another asshole who has made a multi-million dollar industry out of plagiarizing independent artists. His online shop is called “David & Goliath” and there is an article about this fuckwad here: http://www.cartoonbrew.com/ideas-commentary/the-saga-of-todd-goldman.html The article is dated 2007, but he is still doing it!! Including Fink’s work.
March 18, 2011 at 12:59 am
Yeah, I reported her too & her goddamn shop is still up on etsy. She’s got a couple of “gimme some sugar” t-shirts up now, & says she’s working on new material. I think she just means “I’m googling more designs to steal.”
March 18, 2011 at 1:04 am
Yeah what the fuck is up with that?
There’s lots of shirts with the slogan “Gimme Some Sugar” but I haven’t seen one that looks like the one on her store.
Damn, I wanted to report her again.
Grow some balls Etsy and ban the skank.
March 18, 2011 at 1:17 am
Happy to help.
March 18, 2011 at 1:23 am
Oh, and it keeps getting better. Her new Etsy banner contains images stolen from Shutterstock.com. She didn’t even try to disguise the watermark on them.
I, um, may have alerted their legal department about that.
March 18, 2011 at 11:15 am
I saw that and almost had the big one. Good thing there’s no profit in being hilariously stupid, or this girl would be a millionaire and crush us all.
March 18, 2011 at 1:28 am
Reported.
The newest shop banner includes watermarked images, obviously filched. CLassy.
March 18, 2011 at 1:57 am
Uh, there’s nothing wrong with being in porn/posting photos if that’s what you want to do. If their old enough to do it, it’s their decision. I get what you’re trying to say, but let’s not shame everyone who does that sort of stuff. /:
This doesn’t change the fact that Glitterbiscuits is a horrible, arrogant tool without shame or respect for anyone elses work, though.
March 18, 2011 at 7:06 pm
If no one made porn, what would we do on the weekends??? D:
March 18, 2011 at 2:05 am
I’m like completely banned from Etsy for comparing them to Charlie Sheen on their facebook comments…but plagiarists are A-Okay apparently.
March 18, 2011 at 2:19 am
URGH. The whole ‘haters gonna hate’ attitude makes me want to drill my own face off. Especially because it is so often used by asshats like this who have NO EFFING REASON to feel in a position of power AT ALL.
March 18, 2011 at 7:06 am
Smug and stupid is a powerfully infuriating combination.
March 18, 2011 at 2:20 am
In her profile, under favorite materials, she somehow forgot to list her #1 favorite: other people’s ideas.
March 18, 2011 at 2:38 am
The store is still up and showing two items for sale. I’ve just reported it for copyright infringement.
March 18, 2011 at 3:51 am
Longtime lurker – finally coming out of the closet to post…
I love the fact that the current “milk and cookies” banner she has on her shop still has the Shutterstock watermarks on them!!! Lazy theif.
So I sent off a nice e-mail to Shutterstock:
Subject: Stealing from Shutterstock! Thought you’d like to know…
That this Etsy seller (who has recently been busted for stealing other artists’ work) is now proudly displaying a new banner – complete with a “milk and cookies” theme, and the shutterstock watermark intact.
http://www.etsy.com/shop/glitterbiscuits?ref=pr_shop
(Here is the banner image, in case it’s changed by then)*graphic inserted*
In the event that you wanted to contact her and tell her cease and desist, here is her contact info:
[redacted – whois info from here
Good luck!
March 18, 2011 at 4:02 am
I checked in this morning to see if etsy had taken her down, and noticed that her NEW banner still has the stock photo watermark on it:
March 18, 2011 at 4:22 am
And it’s an image of MILK AND COOKIES. I think she’s still flaunting it.
March 18, 2011 at 6:33 am
I noticed that those are stolen photos. I reported that to etsy since the items are gone.
March 18, 2011 at 10:33 am
Should also report her to Shutterstock who licences the images and Nikola Bilic who owns the copyright. Some useful links: http://bit.ly/gkSQhY http://bit.ly/fRYJKj http://bit.ly/hTbt2X
March 18, 2011 at 5:32 pm
I did so earlier this morning (see my post above) and received the following reply:
We appreciate you writing in with your concern.
The link referenced does not show the banner image you had attached as a JPG to your email, unfortunately. If you see that again live, please do report that to us.
Sincerely,

Shutterstock Support
She had the sense to remove the image before they got around to looking at it it seems. Oh well, she’s being watched now – she won’t get away with much anymore.
March 18, 2011 at 4:50 am
There are watermarks on the images in her new banner… think she stole those too?? Wow…
March 18, 2011 at 4:54 am
Sorry–should have caught up on comments first.
March 18, 2011 at 5:41 am
ok, i reported it too, some titchy tiny crappy box for typing in my reasons, huh !
cat xxx
March 18, 2011 at 5:47 am
I reported her shop… I also thought about telling the 2 people in her “circle”, thought they might want to remove her, however I am an etsy shop owner and don’t want to have backlash from the people in her circle. Also has anyone else noticed that the shirts are not showing in her sold items? How was she able to remove them? All other shops show records of items sold along with feedback…hmmm….
March 18, 2011 at 5:48 am
Reported. Thank you Regretsy, for bringing all these jerks to light. You are the reason I am boycotting etsy until they change their ways. You rock.

March 18, 2011 at 5:52 am
I reported her. What a bitch!
March 18, 2011 at 6:06 am
Well, you an add another report to your list. I wouln’t say anything derogatory, but I do think I will go and purchase an original!
March 18, 2011 at 6:08 am
I actually never had an Etsy account. When I woke up and saw this post, I made one just to report this person. I still have eye boogers, but i have done my duty for today already. Ahhh eye boogers….
What about a t-shirt with an eye booger loving an eye?
go for it..
March 18, 2011 at 6:10 am
She needs an entry on Encyclopedia Dramatica. ^^
March 18, 2011 at 6:15 am
I made an Esty account AND an account to post here just because of this person. People like her make me lose faith in the human race.

6:33 a.m. PST and still up. Good form, Etsy. Allow this garbage while your legitimate, awesome sellers get a bad name for it.
March 18, 2011 at 6:54 am
Reported her. Hope Etsy does their job.
Then out of curiosity I read their Copyright Policy. It reveals that Reporting This Shop isn’t for reporting copyright infringement. To do that they want a ton of hoops jumped through like sending a written statement that also shows authorization to act on the behalf of the copyright holder and a bunch of other intimidating legalese. I bet all the reporting we’ve been doing is helping, but if Jess Fink also goes through the motions of meeting Etsy’s requirements laid out in their policy then hopefully Etsy will do the smart thing and ban this user. Though it sounds like after all that they will still only be obligated to remove the offending items.
It is nice to see action taken by the community, though there are tons of similar offenders getting by unscathed. Fingers crossed on this one.
March 18, 2011 at 6:56 am
Reported her.
March 18, 2011 at 6:59 am
Welllll…..It might be proof she did some porn.
Not a big fan of the “slut” thing….a term used to keep women in their place for decades.
March 18, 2011 at 10:01 am
Or maybe she didn’t do porn: she just made copies of it and claimed that it’s her work. That’s what she’s good at.
March 18, 2011 at 10:06 am
HA! Superb.
March 18, 2011 at 10:07 am
PJ….that was meant as a reply to YOUR excellent post…I hit the wrong button!
March 18, 2011 at 2:30 pm
You didn’t hit the worng button I don’t think. I think the page is on overload and is not keeping the order right… it just happened to me as well.
March 18, 2011 at 7:00 am
I’m a newbie to the site but I have enough ethics to see that’s wrong. I reported her.
March 18, 2011 at 7:04 am
But no really, How many people have reported her by now? Do the people at Estsy not do overnights? Or, is it just possible we have way underestimated their stupidity? I would move, but i have a feeling there are just idiots and assholes everywhere. Besides the liquor store is only a block away.
March 18, 2011 at 7:29 am
Interesting, and to me it just happens to sound oddly familiar. My apologies for not having read every comment in this thread, so someone may have pointed it out already, but skimming has made me notice a similarities in MO with another story I caught due to my connections with the photographic industry. http://www.petapixel.com/2010/09/15/photographer-offers-groupon-deal-using-stolen-photographs-chaos-ensures/
I don’t have the time to search if there’s a connection between these two ladies at the moment, but that’s just kinda freaky…

I’m an artist of sorts and this stuff makes my blood boil, I hate it when people steal my stuff and just repost it with their names on it!
March 18, 2011 at 7:45 am
Reported the b****s shop. And googled the cookie loves milk t shirt. And Fink said somebody was wearing her cookie loves milk tee on the season finale of Scrubs. Good for her! The b**&h that s***s glittered biscuits looks like a nasty skank.
March 18, 2011 at 7:47 am
I reported her. Felt good to do it!!
March 18, 2011 at 8:31 am
She wouldn’t know ‘realness’ if it kicked her in the glitterbiscuit.
March 18, 2011 at 8:38 am
reported her too…im an illustrator and comic artist and this is one of my biggest worries! people really suck sometimes
March 18, 2011 at 10:45 pm
Same here, I’ve had a couple pieces stolen. What I try to remember is that they steal it because they don’t have the talent themselves, and I’d have no problem proving they took it from me because I could draw something else exactly the same…and they couldn’t!
That being said, I’d still rather see them go down in flames than have to console myself!
March 18, 2011 at 8:57 am

March 18, 2011 at 9:37 am
I had to sign up with esty and regretsy to report her and comment! But I did both.
March 18, 2011 at 9:46 am
I have been reading Regretsy and the comments for a LONG time. I have also had an Etsy store to sell my (very much self-made paintings, jewelry, and other handmade) goods.
And this… this just pissed me off to an unbelievable extent. To blatantly lie, cheat, and steal from others is wrong. We were taught that in kindergarten. It isnt any different now that we are grown… except we now have more elaborate methods of tattling and more costly punishments.
To be a professional, usually you should carry yourself as one, with your demeanor and attitude.
This woman is no professional. She is behaving as a petulant, arrogant, immature and outrageously stupid, raging cuntnugget.
She even uses this phrase in her shop policies:
“I sew everything myself with integrity, precision, and accuracy…I am very reasonable and will work with you to solve any problems.”
Integrity… Right.
Youre reasonable and can work through a problem?
By, what, bragging about it via banner?
March 18, 2011 at 10:02 am

Easily…today…right now, if she wants to.
That is unless Etsy Admin permabans her…then it will be harder…IP address block, etc.
bugger, eh?
March 18, 2011 at 10:23 am
Well, there’s still ways to get around an IP ban. Its harder, but still possible. Idk if shes smart enough to pull that off but… I’ve been surprised before.
March 18, 2011 at 10:03 am
DONE!
March 18, 2011 at 10:08 am
Nesting is all kinds of fucked up.
March 18, 2011 at 10:17 am
Not cool Glitter. Not cool.
March 18, 2011 at 10:18 am
Shes was busy all night shilling her account so she looks successful…LMAO
March 18, 2011 at 10:24 am
Buy one get her humiliation free.
March 18, 2011 at 10:55 am
You know What, Trinityiam? It should say this:
“I’m a plagiarist and Proud of it!
”
With and arrow pointing up at the photo. xD
March 18, 2011 at 12:05 pm
It’s silly, really, because she seems to make some nice jackets and girls dresses (if she does make them). She should have just stuck to that.
March 18, 2011 at 10:27 am
Guess what! We get to report her again! See those new milk and cookies photos at the top of her store? ©Shutterstock http://bit.ly/gkSQhY
“Royalty free” does not mean no copyright. See http://bit.ly/fRYJKj part 1.
Also report her to Shutterstock here: http://bit.ly/hTbt2X be sure to let them know about her past copyright infringements so they know this isn’t just some accident.
Oh shitterpissquits, how does one get so dumb?
March 18, 2011 at 10:31 am
I’m fairly certain her remaining four items are “sitting in my cart”. I would purchase them, but I “changed my mind.”
March 18, 2011 at 10:34 am
i reported the store and recommend that she be IP banned. hopefully she’s too stupid to know how to get around that one!
March 18, 2011 at 10:49 am
Glitterbiscuits must be friends with Dustin Diamond…
March 18, 2011 at 10:55 am
She really sucks for this. :/ Gah.
March 18, 2011 at 11:01 am
Reported. If only politicians were as easy to remove.
March 18, 2011 at 11:02 am
I reported her last night.

March 18, 2011 at 11:40 am
Add me to the list of tattle talers. I totally reported that turd. I hope she gets Herpes of the eye. yayyyy
March 18, 2011 at 11:50 am
There must have been a lot of modding/cleanup required on this thread…order and nesting is all kinds of different now.
It’s so fucking huge anyway, it’s a Jenga tower of snark.
March 18, 2011 at 12:23 pm
We really try not to get involved but it gets out of hand sometimes. We are working to restore the comment order.
March 18, 2011 at 11:52 am
Me too.. signed up for both… also did anyone else notice she used a shutter shock image of milk and cookies with the watermark still on it!! lol
March 18, 2011 at 12:02 pm
Banner and avatar gone!
March 18, 2011 at 12:06 pm
Along with bio, shop announcement…DID WE CLOSE IT? Feedback still there.
March 18, 2011 at 3:46 pm
not closed she just went and did the internet equivalent of turtling. id see if she still has that famed facebook page too to have her ‘baleted’ there too
March 18, 2011 at 12:09 pm
Her shop is COMPLETELY empty now. No picture, no banner, nothing.
March 18, 2011 at 12:11 pm
Herp. Beat me to it.
March 18, 2011 at 12:28 pm
My nerdrage is still in full swing. The shop is *still* open on Etsy.
March 18, 2011 at 1:10 pm
I joined Etsy to report her, (I don’t have an account because I’m from the UK so it would cost a bomb in shipping which makes me sad) her attitude is horrible and people like that ought to be ashamed of themselves.
March 18, 2011 at 1:40 pm
I just reported her as well. That is just outrageous! Thank you for bringing this to attention.
~Fuzzy~
March 18, 2011 at 1:59 pm
So, just a recap question…. Is her store still open?
March 18, 2011 at 2:07 pm
What an oh, so, very sad person.
March 18, 2011 at 2:07 pm
I almost admire her attitude . . . nah, shut her down
March 18, 2011 at 2:08 pm
I created an Etsy account for the expressed purpose of getting this cock holster booted. I created a WordPress account so I could comment about how I created an Etsy account. My day is instantly brighter.
March 18, 2011 at 2:28 pm
Reported, obviously.
The girl in the original photo is my sister. She works at Threadless and deals with this crap all the time (including people ripping off her own artwork in China). I’ll probably call her directly so she can take it to the top of the company (if she has to).
March 18, 2011 at 2:32 pm
Oh, also… when artwork is submitted to/published by Threadless, it becomes Threadless property. Not only is she stealing intellectual property, she’s stealing Threadless property as well.
March 18, 2011 at 3:49 pm
nice. i hope this chick is dealt with and there are damages to collect. whether or not the thieving twatwaffle has the money or not.
March 18, 2011 at 2:58 pm
Reported this morning. Milk and cookies banner and all images have been removed since then, but the shop still isn’t shut down. WTF, Etsy? I was just about to order some earrings for my little sister’s birthday, but I seriously don’t want to support a company that encourages this kind of behavior. I feel bad for all the real artists selling stuff there now.
March 18, 2011 at 4:17 pm
Some of you might notice that your comments have disappeared. I’ve spent all morning removing a lot of things that were just over the line. I REALLY hate deleting comments, because I think it’s better to show people’s conversations warts and all, but it just became necessary. So please refrain from describing this woman as a “slut” a “whore” or a “cunt.” She’s a thief of intellectual property, just calling her this should be sufficient.
Also, please don’t give out her address or personal contact info. That’s completely unacceptable and will get you banned.
For those who were wondering, the trollish “sistahsenn” is not Glitterbiscuits. I found her on Facebook, and it ain’t her. No, you can’t have her info, either.
March 18, 2011 at 11:38 am
But they can still call me a cunt. Or a CWOARD.
March 18, 2011 at 12:18 pm
You are a C.U.N.T. (Comical Unflappable Neurotic Turboblogger).
March 18, 2011 at 12:21 pm
I’ll take it.
March 18, 2011 at 4:32 pm
Well, it appears that Shitter Biscuits’ store is still online after what I’m sure is an entire day of being reported! She does seem to have removed the banner on her “about me” page…for now.
Meanwhile, it looks like the Etsy staff are too busy sniffing each others’ bicycle seats to do anything productive at this point.
March 18, 2011 at 4:34 pm
Her Etsy header keeps changing… we’re having an impact! Bwooo ha ha ha ha!
March 18, 2011 at 4:37 pm
hey, just another idea here… could we not find out what art school she went to and ask the administration there to comment on their opinion of an alumnus doing this sort of thing?
March 18, 2011 at 4:43 pm
Reported the shop.
March 18, 2011 at 4:44 pm
Someone please report her to You Thought We Wouldn’t Notice:
http://youthoughtwewouldntnotice.com/blog3/
March 18, 2011 at 6:27 pm
At this point, I’m more disgusted with Esty than anything else. They clearly followed this whole thing, saw how little this waste of flesh cares for copyright law or Etsy’s own rules and still decided to let her store remain open.
Way to fail, Etsy. Way to fail.
March 18, 2011 at 10:03 pm
I completely had a rage fit over this! I actually bought the original shirt by Jess around 5 or 6 years ago on Threadless (when it was offered in pink). It’s one of my favorite shirts ever and always will be.
Unfortunately, my rage carried over into my comments when I reported her shop. Not just over-the-top mean, I got rather evil with it.
I respect THIS site way too much to sully it with that sort of talk, so I’ll just say I do not like this seller and I think what she’s done/is doing/will prolly do again is terrible.
It seems like Etsy is accelerating in it’s downhill slide. Someone needs to create a new “handmade marketplace” to replace them. Now I’m not going to do it because I’m a lazy little fucker that gets distracted by shiny things, but how great would it be if it was the brainchild of someone intelligent enough to belong to Regretsy?
That would be awesome. Not just regular awesome though, UNICORN-LEVEL awesome!
March 18, 2011 at 10:22 pm
I have reported the shit out of that thieving cow.
And not betting $10 that Esty does a big fat nothing.
March 18, 2011 at 11:24 pm
Ms. Killer
Ok, so now I’ve joined your Facebook group, your website, and, finally (dear heaven have mercy on my poor shriveled soul) Etsy itself. I have done your bidding and flagged this awful bitch for you, and I vow to continue as your loyal lemming in future exercises of Regretsy’s Mighty Army of Misanthropes. In return for my unswerving allegiance, I demand regular updates as to the status of this Sparkletwat and our collective efforts (All Hail Regretsy!) to boot her shitty store off of Etsy.
March 19, 2011 at 12:11 am
reported.
March 19, 2011 at 5:46 am
Well, I was considering opening an Etsy shop, and as a matter of fact, I was just getting it all set up. After all, I kinda need the money living on disability and training a service dog. I was hoping I could use the money to rescue my truck which I haven’t been able to make payments on for months. : – (
I reported Glitterbiscuits the other day, but obviously her shop hasn’t been taken down. I am an avid cross-stitcher, and it just grinds my gears to see copyright infringement go unpunished like this. The more idiots keep stealing artists designs, the less artists are going to put out for us to enjoy because they have to spend all their time fighting off THIS.
March 19, 2011 at 6:27 am
Well, I guess my own righteous indignation has been building over the past 2 days or so, and since Etsy has made no move to SHUT THAT SHOP DOWN, I went forward with a little missive to legal@etsy.com
I said that since they made their recognition of the EGREGIOUS copyright infringement by glitterbiscuits dependent on some very specific hoops that only Jess Fink/Threadless had to jump through, I had this idea I wanted to suggest to the former parties.
Since they (Etsy) seemingly were colluding with glitterbiscuits to keep her open for business and copyright infringement, I intended to suggest to the injured parties that maybe they should sue ETSY as well.
I’m going to Jess Fink and Treadless as soon as I post this, since I don’t see any reason why this wouldn’t work like gangbusters.
And with all those Chinese resellers under their protection, they’ve no doubt got way more bucks than some alleged “fashion school” graduate.
Hee hee hee. I crack me up.
March 19, 2011 at 12:13 pm
Flagged, and referred to this page in comment for screenshots. However, note that Etsy’s “Flagging Policy” states: “Do not flag for intellectual property matters. Instead, please follow Etsy’s Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy.” Which says… well, tl;dr. But I suspect it says you have to be the holder of the copyright to enforce it, which may be Etsy’s rationale for ignoring thousands of NON-copyright holders complaining on the actual intellectual property owner’s behalf.
March 19, 2011 at 12:16 pm
…which turns out to have been said before. But 450+ comments also strikes me as tl;dr. Blame the hangover.
March 19, 2011 at 1:42 pm
glitterbiscuit should just stick to selling clitter
March 19, 2011 at 8:00 pm
Did ebay ever pay those tens of millions a french court ordered them to, it was for allowing the online selling of the fake bags of Louis Vuitton and others. Something like that would put a knot in etsies knickers.
March 20, 2011 at 9:28 am
Reported her last night… is she still around?
March 20, 2011 at 11:13 am
Just wow. Reported.
March 20, 2011 at 5:41 pm
Why hasn’t it been shut down yet? I’m pretty sure we probably filled Etsy’s inbox.
Hopefully they block her IP.
March 20, 2011 at 9:02 pm
This genuinely pissed me off, so I logged into my Etsy account for the first time in an entire year and reported this nasty doodoohead (everyone else stole the good adjectives).
March 20, 2011 at 9:20 pm
Hola
1) Monday morn on the eastcoast, and GB’s shop is still there. Yeah.
2) Thought I’d mention that Jess Fink has an Esty account, although nothing’s there right now. Bookmark now, so when we’ve forgotten this whole kerfluffle, you can go back!
http://www.etsy.com/shop/JessicaFink?order=date_desc&page=1#
March 21, 2011 at 1:32 am
on jess finks blog she also mentions david and goliath are STILL ripping off her designs and you can see on this link that she is not alone. http://travelswithjesus.com/todd_goldman/
March 21, 2011 at 7:26 am
I reported as well. It’s the 21sth now, and they still haven’t removed her shop.
March 22, 2011 at 12:42 pm
Did my part. I really like Threadless too, so seeing this rip-off made me irritated to say the least.
June 11, 2011 at 8:47 pm
& Miss Finks tee looks like it was a bit inspired by the Jeremyville Cookie Loves Milk tee that has been selling at 2K for the past three years.

June 19, 2011 at 7:43 pm
Done and done.
What an incredibly cocky whhhhoar.
February 10, 2012 at 1:10 pm
The shop is still there!! I’m amazed at Etsy’s policy on not closing down ANY SHOP EVER, despite it blatantly stealing other people’s ideas!! Time to leave Etsy
methinks..
