Speaking of art, you may remember this Alchemy Request:
Well, the person who made this request has now received some sketches from the artist they hired. And because I am nothing if not a patron of the arts, I am posting a pencil sketch here for your amusement. It’s not very good quality, but I guarantee it’s the best drawing of John Cena buggering Daniel Tosh that you’ll see all day.
This is definitely, unreservedly NOT SAFE FOR WORK, unless you’re employed at a place where they don’t mind you looking at hand drawn gay porn. So, if you work at Bravo, you’re good.

I know I am late for the party but I really have to know why Tosh is smiling and John looks like he is crying? Sometimes things are so wrong on so many levels that is makes me sad for all of us. The worst part about all of this is that once you see it you can NEVER unsee it, EVER. Now excuse me while I go sanitize my eyes.

I admit I’ve done my share of tracing when I was teaching myself how to draw. But those drawings are tucked away in a folder in a file drawer in my basement behind a sign that says “beware the leopard!”
As to the Cena/Tosh slash sketch, it’s quite a fair rendering. I can’t wait to see it in oils. I will have to take the artist’s word for it that Cena’s penis is only in 97% of the way.

As a comic book collector… the shop “High Class Design” is comprised of mostly, if not ALL (traced?) drawings of existing images. I am 100% certain I’ve seen a many of these before. The least this idiot can do is change the fucking characters or names of the characters.

As for the alchemy request, that is pretty awesome. Doesn’t turn me on in the least, but I can appreciate the likeness.

I’m glad you reposted the Alchemy request. Without being able to refresh my memory, I’d have guessed that drawing was a well-executed depiction of Duke Nuke’em manhandling Stan Laurel. It’s good, though!
The biggest balls, however, are on the tracer. I notice the mermaid piece is no longer offered in their shop.

Tracing while trying to learn proportions and/or positions = good. I’ve done it.
Tracing in order to sell as one’s own work = no go. At least try and modify the pic in order to claim ‘inspiration’ and not just ‘I used tracing paper stuck on my pc screen’
