Ho Ho Whore

This morning, the Regretsy book is ranked 1,776 out of over 8,000,000 books on Amazon. Now, I’m no math expert, but that sounds positive.

So I’m going to suggest that you consider making this piece of crap a stocking stuffer this year for your less fortunate friends. And the reason I’m asking is this: if you buy this book using this Amazon link, all of my royalties will be donated to charity. Plus Amazon will throw in another 5%.

I’ve been doing this with Amazon since the book came out in April, and I have to say, it’s been a really good way to raise funds. We’ve raised close to $30,000 this year for various charitable causes, and this Amazon program has been a big part of that.

And by the way, once you get to Amazon via that link, 5% of anything you buy will go to charity. So you can still do something great while you’re shopping, even if you don’t buy my book.

But you’ll be a fuckhead.

WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW

How are there only 37 reviews of this book on Amazon? With how many comments items have on here, I’d have thought the reviews would have crashed an Amazon database or two.

Maybe Amazon deletes reviews with the word “Fuckery” in them.

    Sounds positively drenched in awesomesauce!

Perhaps we should use the Canadian Frenchification “fuquery” to stymie them bots ;-p

Maybe replacement words would help keep the reviews from disappearing. Try casserole for asshole and mukkalukka for mother fucker, a la Pineapple Express. Wah la! Cursing with flair!

Twunt, casserole, mukkalukka, and melonfarmer. Regretsy has increased my vocabulary in manifold ways…I will now attempt to re-post a review. I suppose that those motherloving censor-bots won’t catch on for awhile.

HK – is there someone on amazon that says “Hey, 5%!” when you use that link? Because that would be really reassuring. 5% of a kindle is a rather nice amount.

If you click on the link, you’ll see it says “Radio Savant” in the URL, which is my company. So every sale made using that link is credited to my company, and 5% goes into the alchemy fund every quarter. Here’s the last cause that benefited from this program. Is that what you’re asking, or do you want more info on the program itself? – HK

I decree that all who both have paid employment and someone literate on their holiday shopping list must buy this book.

I picked up a few copies last month for myself and the peeps I like. I can’t really buy them for the people I don’t like but still have to get gifts for (certain co-workers) because then they’d figure out that when I tell them their sharty homemade crafts are “whimsical,” it’s really not a compliment.

#12 waywardtopher: so you’re saying “whimsical” is the craft equivalent of “cozy”, “charming”, or “handyman special” of real estate?

You have a ways to go to knock out George W. Bush as #1 on that list, but I think you can do it. #808 and climbing!

I just placed my order! I wanted to order something my son had asked for for Xmas, and I asked hubby if I could order your book for myself as a present, and he said yes! Isn’t he awesome?
Oh, and when I went to the Product details section, it now ranks you as #7 in Crafts & Hobbies!
