You may be having trouble forgetting this image, which I posted here a few weeks ago.

You may also recall that shortly after posting it, I put out a call to knitters to make me a handful of these balaclavas. My intention was to recreate the shot, only with considerably more alcohol.
Well, we achieved that goal on Saturday night.

If that were the end of this story, I think we’d all be feeling a tremendous amount of satisfaction right about now.
But there is more. Much, much more.
When I put out the call to knitters, I got many more responses than I imagined. After the first 6 or so, I was going to start declining your generous offers. But I started to see a lot of comments here and on Facebook from people saying they would buy these things, and I decided to just get as many as you wanted to make.
So now I have a terrifying collection of these things sitting on my dining room table, and starting tomorrow, they are all going up on Ebay.
HALLOWEEN COSTUME DILEMMA: SOLVED.
Imagine showing up with three of your friends, dressed exactly like the photo above. With a pie.
Or, if you’re like me and have no friends, you can just buy one of these things and go to any party, even if you weren’t invited!
Every balaclava will come with extra special bonus gifts, including an amazing custom T-shirt that I can’t tell you about yet so just stop asking because you’re giving mommy a headache.
WHO BENEFITS FROM THESE AUCTIONS?
This is Aidan.

Aidan loves monsters. And masks.
Aidan is fighting Leukemia. All proceeds from these masks will go directly to Aidan’s family, and will help offset the cost of his chemo treatments.
Because people tend to be very generous when bidding on our charity auctions, the things we sell often go way out of range for a lot of you. And that can be frustrating, because you’re all pretty amazing people, and you generally want to help in any way you can.
So if you click on the link below, you will be taken to a Paypal page for Aidan, and you can contribute a few dollars directly to his family.
We’ve also created a special section in our Zazzle store for Aidan, featuring his artwork on a variety of products.
You can learn more about Aidan and his family at their web site.
Please join us for the fuckery tomorrow, when we go live with the auctions, and help us spread the word.

UPDATE: I forgot about Aidan’s Etsy store! Click here to see his artwork for sale.
