Am I the only one who tried to click on the thumbnail images to view them larger? It’s like I just can’t wrap my tiny brain around this and need to view it from all angles to understand.
What garbage did she make with the rest of that yarn? I see some pretty heinous novelty yarns in thereā¦like that ribbony brown hairy stuff. What could you possibly make with that?
Aww, that’s cute. I used to make shit like this when I first started to knit.
Then again, when the arthritis pain got so bad I couldn’t knit anymore, I made shit like this…
I never tried to sell my crappy knitting. But my family was tortured with various forms of scarves, hats, and mittens. They thanked whichever god they believe in that the arthritis took over.
“Turned a cat inside out”, is what got me! Other than that, I’d like to VIOAHH (view it on a human head), to really see what this, whaddyacallit is supposed to look like…

I am ashamed to admit… I am guilty of creating atrocities NEARLY as hideous as this. One lucky recipient said “Wow… you made this… with your HANDS.” Which is why I am not on Etsy. However, in hindsight, I wish my inner critical voice WERE absent, as without it I might have become a Regretsy favorite.
as i was scrolling down i didn’t read the title so i really thought i was looking at a knitted/crochet representation of the artist’s insides after two hernias, gastric bypass, and a benign tumor…

I don’t often like your work either and liking doesn’t start here…
September 27, 2010 at 3:07 pm
Oy, I’d hate to see the rejects she’s not fond of.

“I don’t often like my work but I like this” so…what does her work normally look like?
September 27, 2010 at 3:24 pm
Precious organs.

Scrumble Cloche seems to better describe something my dryer would produce when it’s on the fritz.

It looks more like something the cat hacked up …

Is anyone else reminded of SNL’s skit, Head Wound Harry?
Or is it just me?
September 27, 2010 at 4:11 pm
Thanks NMVEDD! Now it is all so starkly, startlingly clear.
September 27, 2010 at 4:18 pm
I can’t believe she could do that without a pattern!
September 27, 2010 at 4:35 pm
I particularly like the colors she used for the gall bladder and pancreas. Very realistic.

This is the mess left behind when we have full-body yarn fetish come to life.
September 27, 2010 at 5:31 pm
You people are so mean. It’s ART! She’s CREATING things! With her HANDS!
September 27, 2010 at 6:31 pm
Hey! I just realized I can knit and crochet! Based on this, I mean.
September 27, 2010 at 8:17 pm
I fucking love it! It’s like glamor homeless.
September 27, 2010 at 9:38 pm
I picked a great day to start on a new pair of arm warmers, didn’t I?
If she freely admits that she doesn’t usually like her work, why does she think we will? Is she implying our standards are low?
