Am I bad because I really like the first two? That’s some nice-looking embroidery on Pooh. The second two, I’m not so sure. Did you find these on the Island of Misfit Toys?
On an episode of “iCarly” (the disabled guy loves that show, seriously- for NON-pervy reasons at that!) Spencer dated Carly’s psycho teacher and she put the head of a bear on the body of a pig because those were Spencer’s favorite animals.
It’s amazing what monstrosities you can get away with when you do it in plush. Plush makes everything better!
But the seller should rememember Dr Frankenstein’s famous words when he went down that dark road: “Thus strangely are our souls constructed, and by such slender ligaments are we tied to prosperity, or ruin!”
I keep that sort of trivia in my head and that’s why I can’t remember we needed milk at the store.

Now, instead of selling all the plush toys we’ve been hoarding since the birth of The Child at some yard sale for 5 cents each, I just have to tell her I sold them and then I can create these monstrous masterpieces in my basement, under the cloak of night.

YAY!!! “Not remotely crap” hails from my city! Way to go Frankentoys! We’re having a bit of a creative renaissance here right now; lots of resources for the arts; I’m going to keep my eyes open for “Rachel Peters” next time I’m out and about at an art crawl or festival; her website is pretty cool too – http://rachelpeters.com/ If I see anything fucktastic, I’ll post the pics on Facebook!
….see, I’ve been trying to tell you that not *all* Canadians are Fucktards!
You know, on the Korean drama, “You’re Beautiful”, one of the main characters made a stuffed rabbit with a pig nose. http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_l89buofkWb1qd7ql6o1_500.jpg
Adorable but admittedly nowhere near as awesome as the chimera. Which I must now possess.
(that wasn’t meant to be snarky like ‘so, did you support the artist’ but more like ‘how much of your budget did you blow on these irresistible little wonders.’)
I was thinking about buying the Tigger, but it sold pretty fast. – HK
As Jonathan Coulton sang in the classic Skullcrusher Mountain:
“I made this half-pony half-monkey monster to please you
But I get the feeling that you don’t like it
What’s with all the screaming?
You like monkeys, you like ponies
Maybe you don’t like monsters so much
Maybe I used too many monkeys
Isn’t it enough to know that I ruined a pony making a gift for you?”
That said, these are awesome. Too bad the double rainbow bear has been sold; it’s hands-down my favorite.
Oh my gosh! I am so friggen honored. Thank you regretsy, and thank you commenters! It’s done a world of good for my store.
PS: There are more and cooler Franken Toys coming every week. Ones with wheels and talking parts. And as soon as my ebay plush ET gets delivered, #28 mannequin can jump on it.
Thanks again! SO exciting.
ok, glad i’m not the only one to like these toys…i tend to make zombies, weird dolls, witches, amazons, and i LOVE the chimeric toys…i loved the “weird” toys in toy story that were “hybrids”… i really would love all these toys in a sort of tableau with my zombie dolls, creepy creations trying to take over the world, one small play-room at a time.

You can tell which one of the Pooh heads is the evil one, because of the vacant, staring eyes.
September 23, 2010 at 1:33 pm
Winnie the Pooh stars in the remake of “The Thing With Two Heads”.
September 23, 2010 at 1:35 pm
Don’t pooh pooh it until you try it-2 heads are better than 1.
September 23, 2010 at 1:35 pm
Haha, love it! Those are plush awesomeness.
September 23, 2010 at 1:37 pm

September 23, 2010 at 1:37 pm
I’m rather fond of JackJackceratops and Salt Water Boop

The Birth of Mickey scares me in ways I can’t even begin to explain…D:

September 23, 2010 at 3:54 pm
I love these all. I just want to go over to my toddler nephew’s and grab all of his plush toys and transform them for him.

Which makes it worse, somehow …

It’s all fun and games until one of your ‘creations’ comes after its creator demanding a mate.
September 23, 2010 at 8:19 pm
So HK, how many did you buy?

Wow! These remind me of these:

Which is probably the only worthwhile thing that can be done constructively with Beanie Babies.
