have more leeway in what they can wear , including clothes brought in by family etc. What IS strictly forbidden however, is wearing the colors of the Palestinian flag, red/ white/ black & green.

Well, I’m not an expert on the penal system in Israel, but I have:
Been there many times. Been married to an Israeli.
Lived there. Speak Hebrew. Have a Palestinian friend here in the U.S. who did serve time in an Israeli jail, and last , have a close friend, a lawyer who is bilingual in Hebrew/Arabic, & has provided legal services to prisoners.
