YOUR AUCTION PREVIEW: 4/25

On April 28th, Housing Works Bookstore in NYC is hosting a Regretsy book signing and live auction . Housing Works is a nonprofit bookstore and cafe, where all proceeds benefit homeless people living with HIV/AIDS.

I’ve been collecting your donated arts and crafts, and have put together 10 lots to auction off. I’ll be featuring one per day until April 28th. All proceeds will go directly to Housing Works.

If you see something here you want, come down to Housing Works and place a bid during the auction. The event starts at 7:00 PM, and all the details can be found here.

On the Radio!

I have some news for you that’s absolutely thrilling!*

What are you doing today? Say, between 1:00 and 2:00 west coast time?

I’ll tell you what you’re doing. You’re going to click here and listen to me talk about almost nothing for half an hour!

That’s right, I’m on KFWB News Radio, live from the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books! I’ll be the featured guest on the CBS radio show, 2 Minutes & More, talking about my book and fighting a headache.

I told you it was thrilling!*

And if you happen to actually be at the “festival” – and I put that in quotes because as far as I know, nobody’s wearing Mardi Gras masks and showing their tits – come see me after the show! I’ll be signing books at the Mysterious Galaxy Book Store booth at 2:00 PM. And at 3:00 PM, I’ll be walking around UCLA for 45 minutes, looking for my car.

*Not really very interesting at all
