YOUR AUCTION PREVIEW: 4/22
On April 28th, Housing Works Bookstore in NYC is hosting a Regretsy book signing and live auction . Housing Works is a nonprofit bookstore and cafe, where all proceeds benefit homeless people living with HIV/AIDS.
I’ve been collecting your donated arts and crafts, and have put together 10 lots to auction off. I’ll be featuring one per day until April 28th. All proceeds will go directly to Housing Works.
If you see something here you want, come down to Housing Works and place a bid during the auction. The event starts at 7:00 PM, and all the details can be found here.
JUNGLE FEVER SKATEBOARD
SIGNED AND DATED
By Dark Vomit

Dark Vomit (aka Kelly Hutchison) is perhaps best known to Regretsy readers for this painting, which was featured here in November. The image has been made into popular jewelry and now appears in the Regretsy book. The original painting was purchased by me, and hangs proudly over my best friend’s toilet.
Kelly’s skateboards are highly sought after and extremely rare, making him a good deal cooler than anyone I have the right to know.

That women certainly looks freaked out. That man looks totally nonplussed. I look totally jealous of all the people who are going to the auction.

I think all of the paintings are incredible. This one seems to be made from the same raw materials as all of my fever hallucinations:
