So jealous of the Cappy Sue trophy
April 8, 2010 at 6:36 pm
I’m slightly jealous, but it was indeed well deserved. Everything was just so whimsicle.

Well-deserved and congratulations!

Congrats!
April 8, 2010 at 6:50 pm
I love all my fellow creative retardseyians. You all so special!!!!
April 8, 2010 at 6:59 pm
It totally needs a helmet attachment so that one can wear it while bicycling. That would be awesome.
April 8, 2010 at 7:01 pm
Helmet! Helmet! Yes!
Congrats!!!
April 8, 2010 at 7:12 pm
Congratulations!! Thanks for the photographs. It was like being there for the unboxing!
April 8, 2010 at 7:13 pm
Congrats butterwort! Display with PRIDE
April 8, 2010 at 7:15 pm
Congrats! Copy Doria, I felt the same excitement going through the photos. Thanks!
April 8, 2010 at 7:31 pm
To the victor go the spoils!:)
April 8, 2010 at 7:36 pm
It’s fra-GEE-lay! It must be Italian.
April 8, 2010 at 7:48 pm
If by “earthquake country’ you mean Southern California, I might have to beg to see it in real life.
April 8, 2010 at 8:00 pm
I love the photo of your trophy on your mantel. Congratulations on your wonderful win!
April 8, 2010 at 8:01 pm
It’s GLORIOUS!
April 8, 2010 at 8:20 pm
Congratulations! And thanks for sharing the unboxing and then the displaying of this truly stupendous collection of fuckery in all its glory!
April 8, 2010 at 8:45 pm
Oh, terrifying majesty.
April 8, 2010 at 8:46 pm
@sudabaki: alas, I’m several hundred miles north of you. Waitin’ on that Hayward fault…
Glad you are all enjoying the photos! I still can’t wipe the shit-eating grin off my face. It really is the best trophy evar.
April 8, 2010 at 8:49 pm
Damn! If the earth opens up and swallows you, can I have it? Oh and I forgot to say Congratulations!!!!!
April 8, 2010 at 10:09 pm
If the earth swallows up Butterwort, I’m a goner too–we’re basically in the same town. ISUS disappears, and the world…yawns.
Btw, I just want to express my thanks for contributing to Elayne Boosler’s “Tails of Joy” on my Etsy site!
April 8, 2010 at 10:10 pm
Oops–thanks to Butterworth for her nice contribution–and she got something very nice in return:

April 8, 2010 at 10:25 pm
Butterwort can we call you Champ?
April 8, 2010 at 10:40 pm
Call me Champ, call me Da Butters… just don’t call me late for dinner.
April 8, 2010 at 11:00 pm
I just looked at the parade again. It says it all.
Congratulations.
April 8, 2010 at 11:04 pm
Heeeeeeee, those pics are so happy-making. Congrats!
Also, is it weird that, after years of resisting, it is Regretsy that has convinced me to finally learn photoshop?
April 8, 2010 at 11:07 pm
Congrats Da Butters!
April 8, 2010 at 11:08 pm
@Snarkoleptic, yeah…it has a nice sense of progression. And, I agree with April–the Chickenpants is hard to resist.
April 8, 2010 at 11:12 pm
Awesome pics, Butterwort! TY especially for the real-life “View it In a Room”!!!
April 8, 2010 at 11:12 pm
Congratulations again, Butterwort! But since this is a Regretsy trophy, you might want to be tested for all communicable diseases after kissing it.
Heck, what am I saying? I’m just jealous.
April 8, 2010 at 11:40 pm
Butterwort will be OK but if she kisses the google eye on the right, she will be infected. Look at it.
April 9, 2010 at 2:00 am
Butterwort’s OK–it looks silverplate, which has good anti-microbal properties, seriously
April 9, 2010 at 2:18 am
Fabulous pics! Cherish that trophy it is just about the coolest freakin’ thing I have ever seen.
April 9, 2010 at 2:57 am
Well done butterwort! Great pics!!!
April 9, 2010 at 4:31 am
Thanks for sending the link to the flicks. Well done!
Come back to earth in a week or two. (That thing can fly can’t it?)
April 9, 2010 at 6:41 am
Awesome! Congrats!
April 9, 2010 at 8:15 am
Congrats and your photos are to fun I feel like I was there. Your book cover is just amazingly fun and I but out laughing ever time I see it.
April 9, 2010 at 8:36 am
By the way if you haven’t read the epilogue yet you gotta read it.
That is what I call Killer Social Commentary.
April 9, 2010 at 12:50 pm
Oh there is a little suprise on that thing for you. One I think I may have even forgot to tell HK about. There are a couple of items that glow in the dark.
April 9, 2010 at 10:23 pm
Congrats to the winner!
April 10, 2010 at 12:37 pm
rub it in, why don’tcha?
Just a tad jealous
Congrats!
April 10, 2010 at 4:26 pm
Well done, Butterwort!
You could enlarge a pic of your glorious trophy & put it on the wall above your mantle if you’re worried about quake damage.
Just a thought.
April 12, 2010 at 8:54 pm
I am wicked jealous, but it looks so good on your mantle that I wouldn’t wish it anywhere else.
I do agree that it could be shown off more if it were attached to a helmet. Upon moving maybe try and find a place with a giant, light up shrine built in that you can just place it there for whimsicle pilgrims to worship.
April 12, 2010 at 8:55 pm
Please forgive the semi-drunk grammar above. I was overcome with Regretsy love and wine.
