There probably is a way to use coax fittings in an interesting manner, but this isn’t one of them.

Now if you used one male end and one female end and attached them to ends of a cord (probably cotton, or whatever they use to stuff piped edgings on upholstery), and did some fancy woven beadwork to surround the cord, that might actually be an attractive use of the coax fitting. But beyond being used as a really sturdy clasp, I can’t think of any good use.

Voxwoman – I have oodles of coloured telephone wire.
Love it. I use it to hold things together while I go find a clamp, among other things…

When I met a famous basketeer, years ago, she had tiny mauve basket earrings to match her mauve hair.
The little intricate basket were made with telephone wire. I’ve wanted mauve hair ever since.

#91 – um, thanks.

OK, if the lister were to wear this and we connected her to the Internet, could she get enough info to have a clue that hardware on a sting is not jewelry?

Or at least enough to know that anybody else can make the same thing for the same $1.95 in the same 2.3 minutes it took her?

Naw, even technology has its limits.

With a small adjustment, this pendant could be cool for reals (HINT HINT, SELLER):

“People at the cash register often notice necklaces in this series and ask about it.”

I think the “it” in this sentence must refer to the cash register not the necklaces otherwise the people would ask about “them”.

At least the Wench Wrench necklace can be used for basic household repairs …

#115 -nice! The people at the cash register would definitely notice this! Plus maybe you could use the wrenches to break into the register.

#112: Just what every electrician needs, a hardware bolo tie!

And now that I think of it, wearing this would come really handy if you were to get into a fight. If you swing that bad boy hard and fast enough, that would do some serious damage to someone’s forehead.

This just inspires me so, opens up a whole new area of crafting for me. My junk draw has so much stuff just waiting to be made into jewelry. I will hardly every have to throw away anything again, just think how eco-friendly this will make me and so popular with the cashiers!
