The fact that this fugly “necklace” is photographed with the ocean and beach in the background is so sad.
Why not open door, take elevator down, walk on beach, and find something actually pretty?

cable fittings aren’t brass, and they aren’t that big. Plus there’s wire coming out of them, so it would mostly be a pre-made thing.
I have a lot of old phone plugs and wires from when we had to use dialup. I bet those would make some craptastic jewelery!

Now if you used one male end and one female end and attached them to ends of a cord (probably cotton, or whatever they use to stuff piped edgings on upholstery), and did some fancy woven beadwork to surround the cord, that might actually be an attractive use of the coax fitting. But beyond being used as a really sturdy clasp, I can’t think of any good use.

Love it. I use it to hold things together while I go find a clamp, among other things…
When I met a famous basketeer, years ago, she had tiny mauve basket earrings to match her mauve hair.
The little intricate basket were made with telephone wire. I’ve wanted mauve hair ever since.

OK, if the lister were to wear this and we connected her to the Internet, could she get enough info to have a clue that hardware on a sting is not jewelry?
Or at least enough to know that anybody else can make the same thing for the same $1.95 in the same 2.3 minutes it took her?
Naw, even technology has its limits.
