I offered to work on the quilt, and it hadn’t even occurred to me it would be the spoonflower fabrics. I really hope it is, that would be so cool. I’ve been warring with myself over wanting to own part of the madness, but being on a fabric diet – I don’t want to buy any more fabric until I use at least some of what I already have.

#62 ByNanasHands: I specifically avoided going to JoAnn’s today even though I was running errands right next door. I know I can’t seem to get out of there without at least $50 of fabric and assorted other things. I think I’m past the help of a 12-step program.
Instead, I went by the Salvation Army thrift store, and bought a skirt I want to repurpose. So, it’s fabric, but at least it was cheap. Etsy (the good stuff) and Project Runway are making me want to design something.

Zozatron, the creator of the pants/skirt combo that started the whole thing was serious, in her way, I believe. When it was posted here, Helen coined the reference of “skants” as the description. Someone mentioned in comments it looked like she put her sweater on wrong way round. I decided to see how much that would look like it, and tried a shirt on my legs and posted about it. Which led Helen Killer to envision and begin the skants contest.
