It’s time for a new Photoshop contest here at regretsy, home of the weedwhacker haircut!
This one has so many levels of fuckery going on, it’s like some giant, recursive, multi-level meme lasagna. Or as my editor recently said, “It might be a little too meta“.
Okay are you ready?
DESIGN YOUR OWN REGRETSY FABRIC
It’s easier than it sounds – Look what I did today!
You have three hours to design your own regretsy themed fabric. The top three winners will have their designs created at Spoonflower, and will receive three yards of fabric of their winning design, in any weight they choose.
You can make whatever you want from this fabric and sell it in your stores without sharing your revenue (I made a separate agreement with anyone deserving compensation). If you do use the Say What Guy in your fabric, you only have to link to Denny’s Etsy store in your product listings.
And here’s the best part, Spoonflower is actually in on this, and excited to play along! They saw you all talking about them today, and emailed to say they want to be a part of all of our fabric related fuckery!

Spoonflower allows files up to 30 MB, but obviously that won’t work here. So take a screen cap or make a thumb of your design so I can upload it here:

Okay, I opted to use one of my own photos because, while the image itself has never been on regretsy, anything made with it would be TOTALLY Regretsy “worthy.”

Well, my entry pretty much stinks, but you need 3 weeks to do a level 3 photoshop, and I only noticed the contest at 7:25. So it’s a level .03

I thought my idea was great. My kids thought it was great. The husband didn’t get it and thinks we’re all insane (me, the kids, all of you).
When I uploaded it, the fabric-look made it too small to see and defeated the purpose of it all.
So, I bow out, with my so-low-it-has-no-number photoshop skills.
I shall wait with eagerness for the submissions and I will make a point not to be drinking when I view them.

vaginas are hard to draw with a laptop touch-pad! I was too lazy to go and get my tablet & pen, that wold have made it easier. I submitted 3 lame-o designs. Still trying on the vagina design, but about to give up. lol.

#37 Dynomoose: I tried. It looked awful. It looked much better before I had to resize it to upload it.
That’s okay though. I’m not crafty and wouldn’t have been able to make anything out of said fabric had I been lucky enough for everyone else to lose the use of their hands before they submitted.
I bow to those crafty people with better photoshop skills.

Mine suck, and the sad part is, I’m an artist and I’m kind of experienced with photoshop. It’s lack of hilarious ideas that’s holding me back. That, and I forgot to bring my tablet to where I am and can’t go home to get it.

Okay! I figured out my problem, I think I fixed it. I’m submitting it no matter how lame it is and if by some freak accident this gets made into a fabric, I’ll make throw pillows.

i submitted two different versions of the same design..if i win, i would like to make myself some boxers or pj bottoms out of it…LOL
