As you know, we had an Ebay auction last week. The winning bid was matched by Regretsy, and the money was used to hire an Etsy seller to make toys for Toys for Tots.

Well, I found a great seller, who has a shop called Childish Thoughts. She very generously made 20 sets of coloring toys for the kids, including coloring books, crayon sets and crayon rolls, which are sort of like hand sewn tool belts for kids to keep their crayons in.

Rather than waste money on shipping, I asked her to donate them to a location in her area, and send us pictures. She wrapped all the sets individually in cello bags, and they were accepted at Toys for Tots today. She even had her 5 year old help out, which is incredibly cute.

In fact, the whole thing went perfectly, until he realized they were about to leave Toys R Us without getting anything for him.
