@ #61, I turned over all of the ads to the hosting company to pay for the bandwidth. it’s actually very generous of them since the ads couldn’t possibly pay for everything we’re using.

I’m starting the Regretsy Alchemy Fund. Any profits I make on T-shirts or merchandise will go into this fund, and I’ll periodically find Etsy sellers to make things for charities.

#58: I had no idea you weren’t getting money from the ads! I figured you were renting space to help with the costs of the server, since I imagine it sucks up a lot of bandwidth.

You could always do that and then donate extra money to an Etsy seller to make items for charity again. That was such a good idea.

I love how Regretsy has turned the ‘Say What?’ artist into a mini-cultural phenomenon. Somebody needs to write a Ph.d dissertation on this shit!

I’m really curious to know who was smart enough to snap up the original ‘Say What?’ painting on November 7th. At this rate, it’s going to sell for 20 times its value by this time next year.

Sorry, cats and kittens. Sometimes I try to be cool but then I remember that I’m an English teacher and I don’t have to be. And I say things like “100% sadface” and “cats and kittens.” It’s liberating. My neck, keyring, and tree will be entirely bare of bad crafts, ironically displayed or otherwise, and I’m happier being unhip about that.
