Hey stupid ass- Chipmunks are not carnivores. They lack the bone structure and teeth necessary to rip into and chew flesh. Don’t make up shit just so it fits in with your “aesthetic” and then call it “truth.”

In addition, there is also a sense of Dada self reflexivity, that hearkens back to Duchamp’s Fountain. In sum, this cultural artifact represents the novel exploration of the anti-meta: Whereas meta-art is about-art, anti-meta art is about-art as art. Altogether, this suggests that art intellectualization is little more than mental masturbation.

Re #9:
Actually, Chipmunks are omnivores. They do eat meat, a fact that was amply demonstrated to me one weekend when I worked in a provincial park. First we had a family bring us a limp, bleeding fledgling bird that a chipmunk had attacked right in front of them on the trail. They had chased the chipmunk away and brought it to the naturalists, expecting us to give it first aid or something (we stuck it back in the woods.
Later that weekend, people spotted some chipmunks eating road kill

Beatrix Potter did learn to accurately render animals by killing specimens and dissecting them.
I don’t know that she would want to be associated with this work however. The squirrel has been rendered quite skilfully, however the decapitated mouse is somewhat two-dimensional.
