Well Done
I would like to give a big shout out to this seller, for having such a great sense of humor.
After someone made a comment that her butterfly brooch looked like it was hit by a car, the seller actually re-shot her photos and rewrote her description. Good for you!
Now someone go buy this butterfly. It’s famous.

November 4, 2009 at 11:06 am
@ #6 pauldodo: LOL!! Ya, but this seller proves it is only bad if you let it get to you, and she sure didn’t. She rocks for doing this!
November 4, 2009 at 11:07 am
You know what they say, “If you love it, set it free……” or sell it on etsy.
November 4, 2009 at 11:07 am
That was hilarious. It deserved to sell just for that.
November 4, 2009 at 11:08 am
Well done indeed valentinefiberarts!! Congrats on your sale!
November 4, 2009 at 11:08 am
*giggles*
at least someone has a sense of humor
and yet I did not buy “Poor Butterfly Brooch/colorful/whimsical/ugly/handcrafted”…
November 4, 2009 at 11:14 am
That’s great!
Good for her for not letting a bunch of anonymous meanies (that would be us) get her down.
valentinefiberarts, I salute you.
November 4, 2009 at 11:16 am
I wonder if she put little gauze bandages on the “antenni” and “arms”… or would that detract from the whimsicalness? valentinefiberarts rocks! Love the shot under the car tire!
November 4, 2009 at 11:16 am
Right on!! Valentinefiberarts you would be so much fun to go out to lunch with! I was dying when I saw that butterfly on the windshield. Too funny.
November 4, 2009 at 11:17 am
I must say this is the “When life hands you lemons; make lemon-aid” type situation. Good for them. I’m glad the “lemon-aid” sold. =D

November 4, 2009 at 7:24 pm
Hats off to you, Mrs. Ticklefeather! Really, anyone with a name like that MUST have a good sense of humour. Glad your whimsical little messed-up butterfly sold!
November 4, 2009 at 8:29 pm
My new favorite Etsy seller! SO AWESOME!!!
I was gonna buy it if it hadn’t already sold!
November 4, 2009 at 10:23 pm
The picture of it hanging in the old crusty cocoons is the best!
November 5, 2009 at 5:59 am
7289 views can’t be wrong.
You have my admiration, ValentineFiberArts!

Just yesterday I was driving in the car with my niece, and she yelled “I HATE butterflies!!!” I asked her why, and she said it’s because they always fly right in front of the car, and get hit. So, yeah, I hate butterflies, too.
November 5, 2009 at 11:44 am
The seller’s rewriting of the description was hilarious.
November 5, 2009 at 12:47 pm
I have a feeling the seller was just mortified that it was on Regretsy mostly for the description.
November 5, 2009 at 10:23 pm
That’s fabulous. I love a sense of humor.
November 7, 2009 at 8:56 am
