It's an illustration from the children's book, Mr. Peanut Takes a Frog Lover. The series was a propaganda piece put out by Kerr's Nuts in an attempt to smear their competitor, Planters. The books came out in the late 60s and all try to depict a young Mr. Peanut in a negative light. This drawing, from Mr. Peanut Takes a Frog Lover, deals with the themes of bestiality (if Peanut/Frog sex can be considered such) and a little known practice called Peanutting, which basically involves Mr. Peanut inserting half of his body in his lover's orifice. The letter A was never explained in the book. Planters Corp. eventually found out that Kerr’s was the source of these books and sued for defamation and copyright infringement, which ended up settling before it went to trial. All of the known copies of the books were assumed to have been destroyed. This is a rare print and well worth the $10.00 asking price.
