No way! I love this one. I would totally buy this.
The description is idiotic, though. Why would you use the word ‘bored’ in front of your potential buyers? But the photo is very nice.
Because someone is trying to be ironic… and they’re trying a little too hard.
It might have been adroit if they had just called it “key bored” and left all the other crap (especially other sizes / prices) out of the listing. That could have been arty.
But this is someone who doesn’t quite have the level of finesse for the humor that they’re trying to demonstrate.
but otherwise, there’s a demonstrable lack of knowledge of composition with the rest of their shots for the type of close-ups they’re trying to pull off. This is art school esoteric, but there are some things that should be edited out of picture (most easily by cropping) that would actually make some of these shots pretty good. As they stand now, they’re a bit amateurish and happy accidents.
In spite of that, I now expect to be bombarded with this (expletive deleted) — because this is the sort of not quite there in the talent department stuff that makes etsy staff cream in their pants and invent new free promotional tools to feature.
I thought this site was funny until you started picking on photographers.
Bah fuck it, I’m kidding. The great thing is, is that someone will buy this. A 8X10 should go for around 20 bucks, so the price is actually about right.
Hey you never know, some accounting office may buy it.
