Ooh..Ooh…there is happenin peace 1, happenin peace 2 (sold, for some ungodly reason), and happenin peace 3! Its a series of mistaken peace symbols made out of solder and just a weeeeeeeee bit of copper.
A true artist can do something really well and make it look easy, simple, and crude. And its fabulous.
It doesn’t work in the reverse. Badly made is still badly made.
ooh everyone else stole my mercedes comment- but it’s so true!
this person is obviously trying to cash in on the whole peace and love idea, but at least get the peace sign symbol right, sheesh!
@ #5 Cath of Canberra: ha! now I have that Janis Joplin song rolling around in my head.
: )
Maybe this person ran out of solder or wire before they could add the final part that would actually make this a peace sign?
Anyone else find this item photographed in front of a cactus to somehow be amusing? I can’t explain why, but I find it hilarious.
i find that nice, too. a cactus is a good symbol for peace with the circle of…OUCH!
somehow this reminds me of the girl in my school that had a barrette with a metal hemp leaf and thought it was a maple leaf.
but the picture where you can see the mercedes thing from the side (!) is not bad, either.
maybe all mercedes drivers are in harmony with their circle of life, who knows!
I like to imagine that this pendant represents the incredibly deluded person who flunked 9th grade welding class and now thinks they can sell shit on etsy.
Fortunately, that was all the solder she had. It reminds me of how my sister used to wrap presents…when she was 6. Lots of tape, not quite the right shape, but plenty of enthusiasm. Or in this case, plenty of mj.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA …… *breathe* HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH OMG this sucks! it is craptastic beyond beleif! i even see horrible scar marks on the copper wire. it’s even missing a center part. its so sad and crappy its hilarious

Best part is, that’s not even a peace sign. More like the Mercedes symbol.
October 19, 2009 at 6:16 pm
Um… that’s not a peace sign. It’s a mercedes benz logo.
October 19, 2009 at 6:17 pm
mercedes much?
October 19, 2009 at 6:18 pm
A – poorly soldered together – harmonious relationship with his or her circle of life.
October 19, 2009 at 6:23 pm
Oh Lord, won’t you buy me a Mercedes Benz?
October 19, 2009 at 6:43 pm
does it come with the peyote? for the feeling of a harmoniuos relationship with my circle of life?
October 19, 2009 at 7:06 pm
That’s a lot of solder. Maybe she should just skip the copper and make stuff out of solder.

“I like to imagine that this pendant represents a person who is learning how to solder, and is free of the burden of actual talent”
October 19, 2009 at 7:25 pm
Maybe should switch to lead-free solder and work in a well ventilated area, I think that’s the problem.
October 19, 2009 at 7:28 pm
YIKES!! This is what happens when a “happily free person” solders while under Mary Jane’s influence!
October 19, 2009 at 7:33 pm
Poorly made things offend me almost as much as well made things made in poor taste.
October 19, 2009 at 7:46 pm
??? what does it really mean?

OMG…I had to send her a message. I asked her if she was selling peace signs or Mercedes Benz signs. I told her to google it.
Freakin’ irritating.

This is what happens when you solder without ventilation for too long…
November 19, 2009 at 8:18 pm
I secretly wonder if my boyfriend who claims he can make a living welding stuff made this.
December 24, 2010 at 8:41 am
“And I like to imagine that someone broke your soldering gun before you could make any more of these” LMAO in agreement
March 30, 2011 at 11:04 am
It could just be silver epoxy applied with a popsicle-stick!
