No, no, don’t do that! Let me pick. I want to make sure I get the one with most filth from the bottom of your fucking hamper. Maybe I’ll get the one with the lice eggs clinging to the ribbon so I can infect my daughter’s entire kindergarten class.
That’s really too bad, cause they could have been relatively cute (for what they are). How would someone ever ever ever think that that was acceptable for a selling pic? Even sitting on the seat of what looks like a rocking chair would have been 100% better!
Ya know, it would be so wonderful if someone would create some type of cloth that, oh I don’t know, came in cans with pull through lids? And maybe they could be moist with cleanser-dare I suggest bleach-that you could, oh, lets see…just pull one out and it would tear free giving you a really easy to use cleaning tool that you could, oh, I don’t know, maybe wipe off a dirty chair so you could display your wares?
Wow, maybe in the next century we would have such wonderful things to make it easier to take clean looking pics.
How about a box with a clean, light colored towel as a podium? Or a couch cushion? One can only think that this person has such a filthy house that they cannot put these on the counter in the kitchen. Maybe they cannot find their counter? Maybe this poor soul is one of those people who hoards EVERYTHING? Well, they did part with these finely crafted Easter(?)crapts.
It just doesn’t make sense…there is no reason for such bad framing/backgrounds/uncleanliness. I can take a pic of something with junk all around it (meaning, scraps, other items, etc–not dirty stuff), but still clear off enough area that the item appears to be all by itself on a clean spot!
Seriously…in the pic of the mirror, you can see the laundry basket in the background…another a thing is leaned up against the back of a picture frame…another tiny item is displayed out of focus in each pic on a dirty rug…an extension cord in another…dirty gross shoes in the background of another…
I just…I don’t…
sigh, I’m just perplexed. there is no reason for it. The older pics are so much better…if it was just a couple, I’d think it was a set up! How did stuff sell when it was on a dirty rug? And some of this stuff was for babies?!?!
I had to stare at these for a minute before realizing it was the background…
To be frank, my mother is crazy and her house (particularly the windows) are full of mildew… but even my mother would’ve spent 3 hours looking for just the right piece of fabric to make me take her photos on… and then she would have spent an hour ironing said piece of fabric before the photos were taken…
All the pre-2007 sold item photos seem fine… maybe someone lost their health insurance and went off their meds.
Maybe that’s why the shop is in vacation mode right now? Or maybe someone is cleaning house.

Why so many sales?
(from shop home)
“Some problems has been brought to my attention about my sister (Naynay3141) purchasing from my shop & leaving feedback. I didn’t know having someone from my house buying would be a problem but it is, so she will not purchasing from me any more on the site and probably from Etsy again.”
Oh, that’s why.
Also, I’m thinking we need to start keeping track of seller names in relation to posts here. I’ve noticed once again, the shop is the seller’s first name preceding a noun with a matching first letter. This is ripe for hypothesizing.
I call dibs on that laundry basket when it comes up for sale!!! I can only imagine the crap background that it will be placed in to accentuate every scratch and stain. Can’t wait!
Maybe if you can accurately identify the disease/illness bearing element in the background (ex: “nasty ass basket bottom covered in mouse shit and general filth”) she’ll take 10% off your purchase. I guess people don’t understand that thoughts of a seller’s personal environment being less than clean could be detrimental to sales. I wouldn’t be happy with my child wearing a hair bow that’s been in contact with mice, and their poop. The bows are cute – my kid getting parasites, not so much.

What in the hell? Is this a joke?
Looking through this seller’s sold items, it is like they purposely pick bad/nasty backgrounds.
Halloween ribbon next to a little moldy window screen grunge anyone?

This is a huge white blank board (I have one myself)…why on earth pose your item next to the product sticker??

Seller, please donate your brain to science when you’re done with it so we can see what makes you tick.

Those ducks are pretty cute. Too bad they didn’t think of getting some fabric to photograph them on.
I see this kind of thing a lot in ads where people are selling things and it boggles my mind.

You made me laugh so hard that I almost drooled all over my keyboard. ALMOST.

I just love this one so much, I have been chuckling repetitively at it for over a day now.
Thanks for cheering me up!

Just out of curiosity, why would you announce to every one of your prospective buyers that you’ve been stacking your stats? Just… kinda… wondered…

Mmmmm – just the thing for my new niece. Staph infection thrown in at no extra charge.
How disgusting – please do us all a favor and photograph on a CLEAN background.
