Clock Suck

Oh you may have spray painted it, but its destination hasn’t changed. Seriously that’s just about the worst piece of crap I’ve ever seen that wasn’t made by a child or a stroke victim in occupational therapy. The good news is, the next time someone finds this in the trash, they won’t be able to make anything worse out of it.

The seller took something which was (probably) of no value and made something functional (and really not bad looking) out of it. Without adding ‘upcycle’ or ‘greener than thou’ to her tags. This isn’t part of the Etsy trend of taking something useful or wearable and re-making it into something so shoddy-looking that it deserves nothing but the landfill.

This would have been a gorgeous piece of art but the beads are overkill. What happened to nuance? And BTW I do believe they took great pains to carefully faux finish aka sponge paint these lovely clock faces, spray painting is for amateurs!!!!
